Here's the BMW thread. Feel free to talk about the M3 CSL, M1, and the other models in the JPN version.

For now, I'm trying out the M1.

Kinda disappointed on the M1 not being given any DU parts at all...

But fingers crossed though...since there's a possibility it will be given DU parts in future updates

I believe the DU parts might be based on this real life picture of the M1 which I took when I went on a Europe vacation with my family last September:

We also have to remember this one thing for the M1:
BMW M1 Procar. I hope this kit is added later on.

Also, yeah, I'm disappointed too.

Is it just the M1 that doesn't have any DU parts? As far as I can remember, the E92 M3 in the JPN version had DU parts.

By the looks of it, this is a case of they just didn't care.

The GTR as well. If EA, Turn 10, and Polyphony are allowed to make customizations, it appears that Namco simply didn't bother asking.

I have pretty much said about the M1 in my earlier post...the one with the picture of it whistling.gif

Fyi it is an actual exhibition car from the original BMW Museum in Munich, Germany smile.gif

I still think we can have them customized by a future patch..

You should never, ever, ever, ever, EVER, release an obvious beta as a full product.

It is an insult to us customers.

That, or we have to wait for a longer time for MT5 to come out if we were to take note of this. I somehow agree though.

I don't see how waiting longer for a far superior product would be bad thing. They were really trying to pump out a new game as quick as possible, which is never a good thing.

You do have a point. I remember our version of MT4 is complete after its release.

As it should be, has been, and always has been since WMMT1.

Perhaps they saw how renames were so popular, they thought it would ruin the G system?

Anyways, how's the M3 E92 drive?

I should ask PK about that.. he's in Japan, and he should be able to see how that M3 can handle.

In WMMT4's case that was almost a year late against to the japanese but Deskyx's point was dead-on it seemed Bandai was shoving it too early considering WMMT5 in Japan was at 2nd Quarter of 2014 and we got it too early

Currently created an E46 (M3 CSL) and an E26 (M1) but leaning more on the E46, then again the stock tach was very good in my eyes tho

It turns so well, it puts rotaries to shame, for a foreign car. Not as great but it's more passionate in corners than the mazdas.
That balance was so stunning. What more when full tuned.

That's strange from foreign car hating Namco. So far they turned virtually every foreign car into a heavy battler or an underwhelming TA car. Like the GT-R killing ZR1 was turned to heavy battler with hideous body kits. But its an M3....

BREAKING NEWS:

Forum user date has obtained the first two custom colours of the BMW M1: Yellow (no.1) and Orange (no.2)
Source: https://www.facebook.com/groups/442326805895400/

Proof that it is highly possible the Beemers in the WMMT5 International version will be given DU parts in future updates (possibly one of the M1's aero sets...and probably also its works sticker would be like in the M1 photo I posted above)

M1 somehow has the same sound as the RUFs. I mean the sudden beep when you release the gas.
