Hi, y'all!

I am just wondering what y'alls opinions were on a Wangan Midnight, or Tokyo Xtreme Racer mmo (massive multiplier online) were? I am obsessed with and enjoyed playing the Tokyo Xtreme racer shutoko battle games and am tired of waiting for another sequel to come out, which is probably never going to come out.
I was thinking that having a mmo of the Wangan Midnight, or Tokyo Xtreme Racer series would be fun!

What do y'all think?

Here are my ideas on why I think having a Tokyo Xtreme Racer mmo would be fun.

I think having a Tokyo Xtreme Racer mmo would be fun because it would allow the players to create their own teams and their own B.A.D names, or the players can assign their own B.A.D names to the people on their teams. Then they can make their own team logos and face off against other teams. Or, you could be a wanderer a try to take down all teams!

I think this would be a great idea, but i'm not a game developer and I don't know how to create games, but i'm trying to learn! Who's with me! What do y'all think?

Only reason why I would support this very basic idea is because Need for Speed Word really sucks as is just a money grab by EA

Ya, I wish they would make more tuning games, like NFS underground. I enjoy the police pursuit games, but would enjoy a freeway, car tuning game even more.

Lol, I've written a racing series called "ROAD" (R.O.A.D.S) since 2009 til now and I never finished them, but I'm surprised your name is roadrunner.

Lol. Coincidence.

Anyways, I'm personally writing a game document for my future arcade/pc home port game based on MT+TXR+ID and +NFS.

I hope your plans for your own endeavours goes well!

Thanks, the name roadrunner came from a Native American roadrunner pin that I got from parents store and hung on my cars rear-view mirror. It had been supposedly sitting in my parents store for awhile and I thought it was cool and hung it on my cars rear-view mirror and decided to call myself "Roadrunner" I would upload a picture, but I have been having trouble uploading pictures on this site.

I've never heard of ROADS? Is it a racing game?

Sounds fun, I hope to make a WM and TXR style game also. I am currently trying to learn how to create and program video games and hope to one day create my dream game "Wangan Midnight MMO!"

Roads is a racing series of.novels written by me. It primarily centres mostly on street racing.

Formerly worldwide to.touge and all.

I havent finished each of my 4 main stories and its sub-branches.

I intend to make the game in the future.but not as an mmo but and offline game with online.elements similar with mmo but matchmaking.

ROADS means Racers on a Desire Series

It is my pride.

Awesome, I would like to read and play!

I wonder if the Wangan Midnight, or Tokyo Xtreme Racer series had a online mode? I think Import Tuner did.

Sounds more like a fast and furious esque attraction game rather than maximum tune's features. But it sounds close to it I guess.

Its made in references of some Attract Musics from Max Tune 3, but it sounds more like a trailer ad than an attract-ingame sound.

So, do you play maxitune, I assume you do.

Ya, I think it could be used for either, or.

Yes, I've played Many of the Shutoko battle games, Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero and 3 for the PS2 and I played Import tuner, which is pretty much the Xbox 360 version of Maximum Tune. I haven't had the chance to play Maximum Tune, or any of the Wangan Midnight games, but they looked to be pretty much the same format as the Tokyo Xtreme Racer series, I think anyway.

So, I heard there was actually a Shutokou MMO made by GRP (Genki Racing Project) called Shutokou Battle Online in 2003, released in Japan, for Microsoft Windows computers, but i'm told that Genki shut down the servers and I can't find anything on the internet about it. It's on Wikipedia! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genki_(company) That's all I know...
