The Z in the anime seems to be based more off the Z from the Live action movie than the manga Devil Z. I don't remember the manga's Z ever having ZG flares.

Also the Devil Z in the manga didn't have the fender mirrors. If you also notice or have seen screenshots, the S30Z in the movie or at least the first movie is a later model S30. You can tell because it has the reverse light that sits outside of the brake/blinker tail light assembly unlike the 240Z had it integrated. Also from what I can tell the manga didn't have a spot for the fog lights.

I think the Z from the movie was very nice. I like the fender flares a lot so i'm not complaining

So like,can I get an advance DVD copy ?

Ya, They are using cell shadding style for the animation of the cars and highways.

YES, the two new pictures also show that the original image of the Devil Z was just a publicity one. As the one that will be the in the show looks like the manga version that we all know. ^^

Hopefully someone will try and sub it for us...

Tatsuya in the galery looks too skinny compared to the arcade and manga version He'll surely blown away with that kind of body if he stands on the side of the road and the Devil Z suddenly passing by

I find it strange that Shima constantly wears the same outfits. How many times can you wear black leather (looks like leather) pants and a black shirt?

That's true. Black Prosche, black clothes. You'd think that Tatsuya would be a ladies man based on his car and dress style alone. Hopefully he's not as skinny in the actual animation.

Yeah i hope so lets just wait what happens.But are those the only clothes their going to make him were in the anime cause in the manga he has different clothes

i seriosuly hope this Anime series wont make the prices of 240Z, Supras, and RX-7 sky rocket more then they already are, like initial D did for the AE86 and 240SX's thats the one thing i hate about living in the US. they always rip people off once the car is in the media god that F**King ticks me off

That'd tick me off too, being a hopeful Supra (JZA80) buyer. It's only recently that Supra prices have started to drop.....I don't want them going up again!!!
