Not really much to update the build thread with so I decided I'd out of character post some pics of this jank ass 33 year old Fairlady Z that's been rotting in my aegis. Just thought it looked nice now with the primered up mirror stalks are finally flat black. Other than than just replaced more pieces of the floor that were rusted up. I'll cover that in the build thread when I replenish my f**ck meter so there are enough to give.

I've grown weary of her electronics and spark cutting out randomly (because 33 year old electronics aren't the most reliable thing and because 33 year olf JDM computer systems aren't exactly a dime a dozen in California) so after about 3 months of troubleshooting I'm taking her in to be lobotomized followed by a brain transplant. So we'll see how that goes.

yea 2002 rav4 2.0 , auto lol.

it looks nice tbh, for a 4wd. but its not at all close to being remotely fast. 2lt + 1500kg + unchangable tcs/asc = not quick by any means.

TOYOTA!!! Y U NO MAKE RAV4 WITH 3S-GTE????

the previous generation came (in japan only of course) with a 3S-GE BEAMS

CODE
The "Grey Top" BEAMS 3S-GE was an available engine option in the RAV4 and Caldina GT in Japan. Even though the valve cover on this engine is black, it is referred to as "Grey Top" due to the grey intake plenum, to differentiate it from the Dual-VVTi "Black Top" in the Altezza. Power output is 180 PS (132 kW; 178 hp) at 6,600 rpm in the RAV4 and 190 PS (140 kW; 187 hp) in the Caldina GT.

I saw a guy w/ that gen rav4 who must've either turbo'd the existing 3s-ge or swapped a 3s-gte into it with more work done etc...was ridiculously fast lol.

That last one was shot from Sean Morris' Nismo R32, #500/500. You can see it in one of the group shots as the gunmetal grey completely stock R32. When I share video later, you'll notice that Sean's wife takes our picture almost at the same time my wife records their car and everyone else pulling in behind us.
