QUOTE (animalica @ Today at 11:49 AM)
For my home use I compiled a japanese FAQ with a chinese card list and a english brief card list from the GameFAQ`s boards.
So I can easily tick off what events and cards I won and what cards maybe useful for the next races.

This are the genuine FAQ`s

http://boards.gamefaqs.com/gfaqs/genmessag...&topic=39370592
http://www37.atwiki.jp/wangan3/pages/1.html
http://www1.uwants.com/attachment.php?aid=2595988

For translating the japanese and chinese files I used this page:
http://translator.live.com

And now here`s my destilled version:

http://www.file-upload.net/download-629482...nglish.rtf.html

Without the whole card list at the end it`s 17 pages, complete I would guess up to 20 pages.

The brief card list which describes in the cards in general are on top and are colored to match the colors of the cards in the game for convenience.
If you got no color printer, select them all and change the color to black otherwise some lines are too faded out to read.

Now it's more cleaner...
Thanks.

I need to read it first... to see if you can equip the tuner cards (70-80 I believe...) to the cars.

this will teach all u need to know about swaps
http://boards.gamefaqs.com/gfaqs/genmessag...&topic=37427936

Unfortunately GameFAQ`s purges their boards at the end of the year so me and other people who got this game this year are too late to the party.

And I already tried to look it up in the Wayback Machine (Internet Archive) but it`s too early to show up there. sad.gif

So I hope no one suffers from Alzheimer's disease and will post how to do engine swaps.

Would be very kind.

Anyone playing this with the G25? It's pretty cool, you can feel when you run over the expansion joints and as you go faster it gets harder to turn the wheel with the g-force. It's great for throttle control too, you can really fine tune your movements with it.

Oh and thanks animalica for the translated faq's, it's coming in really handy!

It's infinitely better than the PSP edition. I wonder- is that rumor true that there would be a gimmick where if you had your PSP you could get more stuff from the Ps3 game if they linked up?

the main menu is actually in English, the Card system is in Japanese. The game itself have a little manual that explains all the essentials in English. Sooooo... there shouldn't be any problems.

..... doubt it.

You can see them, but as far as I played the game, I didn't race them in story mode. Challenge mode, in the advance level (99 cars to race) may be appear. But so far I got 50 runners 'til BlackBird (level 5) smoke me, running near 395-400 km/h.

I'm waiting to get mine from Play-asia.com. It says that it won't be available till July (out of stock i guess). I'm also waiting on Initial D extreme stage from them. I MIGHT just ebay it up...don't know yet. Not a fan of used ebay games. We'll see tho.

But I will wait some time for Initial D (drop some of the price)
