Are there any games that are similar to WM for the PC and isn't in japanese? If there is, then I'd appreciate if someone would post the info here.

Thanks in advance!

Don't know a ton for the computer...if you can get a playstation emulator you can get some like the first Initial D game. But, that's all I can think of for now. If you have a ps2 I'd suggest picking up Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero. It's basically what the Wangan Games were modelled after. Almost the same gameplay, HUGE amount of cars, HUGE amount of rivals and wanderers to race, the two bosses are the Blackbird and the Devil Z, and you can pick it up for $9 at most places that have it. Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3 is also good as well, more courses and highways to race on, more rivals and wanderers, less cars tho. It's pretty cheap as well.

I know Kaido Battle: Touge No Densetsu is coming out in America in 3 days, it's being released as Tokyo Xtreme Drift 2. It's for the ps2, and it's only $19. LOTS of cars and rivals and stuff in it, as well.

If Maximum Tune 1 or 2 was ever released on the PC....imagine playing the game in conjunction with these peripherals?!!

I've got a really nice force feedback wheel and everything for my ps2. I yanked the passenger seat out of my old Tercel before we junked it, and I rigged the wheel and pedals up to it. I got a cheap seat cover for the seat, since it was older and was faded and a little stained. But, that's a pretty sweet experience there. As good as arcade in your living room, but with a larger tv. ^^

Yeah I plan on getting the G25 once WM3 comes out.

But I still need a bit more cash for what I want to get:

PS3: $900 NZ (Delivered)

37'" LCD TV: $1700 NZ (Delivered)

Logitech G25: $500 NZ (Delivered)

Wangan Midnight 3: $100 NZ (Delivered)

Total: $3200

And so far in 1 month I've saved 550 bucks, plus I plan buy everything in stages, ie PS3
+WM3 then G25 then play the PS3 on my 28" CRT until i save up the 4 months worth for the 37" LCD.

I predict that by around Christmas I shall be a very happy guy grin2.gif

(Plus with daily practice dominate the high scores at the arcade smile.gif )

Thats a bit much for a video game. 3200? And why is the PS3 marked up as 900 dollars?

He lives in New Zealand, so that's in his currency and not US dollars.

Could someone please tell me if you can use the G25 setup on a PS3 or not? Becouse I spent yesterday looking up the G25 and it looks to me like its a PC only wheel, yet I've seen videos of it being used to play GTHD on PS3. I dont want to buy it if it cant be used on my PS3.

It's fully compatible with the PS2, and the website even says so. I'd imagine you just plug it into the PS3 all the same. I have an older wheel for my PS2, I might just grab the G25 when I get the PS3...maybe earlier. Hopefully prices on everything will be down towards the end of the year.

I found this pretty badass game randomly on youtube. It's called Live for Speed, its a downloadable, multiplayer raceing sim. It looks surpriseingly clean for an online multi player game, and you and use the G25 to play it since its a computer game. Check it out on youtube or wikipedia when you get the chance.

LFS has been around for quite some time. I played it about three-four years ago, when they had the first version around. A lot of people play it for its drifting system, being the physics are preety realistic. The online is actually done very well, for a fan made game.
