dunno dude... but the only thing ive found funny is that i never use the final gear... it really doesnt make a difference to me from the previous gear. it might be a bit odd... but then again maybe im saving some shift work? laugh.gif

maybe its the fact that i cant get the rpms up high or fast enough in the final gear... and its hard to recover the rpms in final gear... maybe thats why im always in the 2nd to last gear. grin2.gif

I'm all about speed so I always go 100% on the upshifts. Always trying to get to 350 kmph. Isn't there a hidden Supra car that can get up to 1000hp or is that just a rumor?

It really depends on wat type of corner.
With the sucide left I usually go to fourth then to 3rd in the middle of the turn.
On hakone usually go to fourth for the red turns. *this is all IMO.

Agreed smile.gif
Plus, the more you play the game the more you'll get familiar with each corner.
Remember practice makes perfect. laugh.gif

Just my two cents worth, I've noticed that many of the pros here in the Philippines barely step on the brakes at all. All that they do is to lighten up on the accelerator a bit and let some rather fancy steering do the rest. Should they use the brakes, it's only on very extreme situations. I'm practicing that right now, trying to get it right...

So far, it's doing me wonders.

Yeh seriously lmao even though im not Philippine I rarely use brake, On hard turns I take it down accelerate a bit and let go and with it still go all I gotta do is sit bak and relax with my hand turning XD

For the first almost 90 degree turn in Osaka, you don't use brakes at all? It doesn't feel like downshifting a few gears is enough. Maybe I need to walltap or something.

I can't remember but there was a time I ran straight into the fences lining hakone... I was in first-person view and I didn't notice them... I thought it was an alternative route in hakone...

Gud experience. I saw in youtube that a gemballa in hakone ran straight in the orange double turn. Sorry in my last post up there its a S curve not a one way turn

Yes, it was a very good experience... imagine being chased by a very good player and you think you saw an alternative route with less corners and you ran straight for it.. fear2.gif

Have you guys heard of this coping your tuning card trick? It's a pretty tricky, yet risky thing to do. What you do is insert the tuning card you want to copy and put tape on the OUTSIDE part of the card (oposite side of where the top corner of the other side says "<-IN") and insert it in the card reader. Then you put a tuning card that you don't use anymore (probably a used up card. Doesn't matter though) and put that in the card reader also. Between that, get the other card w/ the tape and start pulling that out while you put the other one in. It needs PERFECT timing to make it successful. One slip and you lose your card information on BOTH cards.

A friend did that for me and gave me a copy of his Gemballa. SClass5Level!

I suggest you don't do it on your best car(s) on the first try.

Thought double-posting isnt allowed like on IDWF. anyway, on topic, I try to have a bit of a slow entry to get a fast exit. I try trail-braking rather early and downshift to 3rd to clear red turns, otherwise its very light brakes to 4 for a yellow.
