WoW! hold 3 cars!? That is sooo cool. But I tried Inital D after spending 2 hrs on Maxi tune, and I suck now. The wheel feels so much lighter and I tend to forget about breaks sometime;; I was behind 8 sec than usual on my time attack...

It's hard, initial D and Maxi tune is so different.

Same here, Initial D and Maxi Tune is right next to each other so whenever I get bored I try Inital D sometimes but I spend most of my time in Maxi Tune.

My Gameworks (Shaumberg,IL) has the only ID4 machine in America. It's pretty badass, everything in the game has been completely redone from cars and tracks to the menu system, theres even this pretty cool new thing that gives you a pic on your licence and when tuneing comes up its like a slot machine that randomly picks changes to your driver. The thing I dont like about it though is how hard the story mode is! Ridicuisly hard! and the step price to play:
Buying A Licence: $8
1 Play: $2
Buying or scraping cars: $2
I dont remember the exact number but full tuning a car ends up costing you upwards of $600, for one car, your card holds three...And it also kinda sucks becouse tuning comes along once every 4 stages and you dont know if it will be preformence, visual, or character tuning. I still like it though and hope this answered you question.

p.s.- I'll post picks of my card and the cabinet when I get the time.

8 Bucks? I don't mind. How many plays you can get before you can renew it?

You get 180 plays(3 times the norm) out of the card before a renewel, so In my opinion its worth it. Plus you store three cars instead of one.

But do you get 3 car when you buy the card or do you have to buy the other 2 cars

Chomite, you can't renew cards from the previous iterations of IDAS into IDAS4; they use different cards and a different base code. Refer to the Wikipedia page for IDAS4: IDAS4 @ Wikipedia

Yah its true. ID4 uses IC cards(Cards like credit cards) instead of the magnetic skinny cards like Wangan and the other ID games.

and tofuboy: you only get 1 car when you make a card if you want to add another car to your garage you have to put in another credit to buy it.

Think this way, you don't have to carry around two cards. But If you lose one card, all your cars are gone blink.gif That is little problematic.
