for 964 tuned ..

it's 3.8RS Engine with Medium-revs (8,000 to shift up) and with a " Single Turbo Tuning " ( i think that's some old BIGGEST Garrett Turbo or T88-34D Or something else, see when 964 cornering .. it's have some of slowing cornering because turbo is very lagging , if blackbird have anti-lagging setting that's don't help)

if you said that's twin turbo . please said it why . i want to know too about it's single or Twin (or triple or quad !! -*- bakayaro !)

£12k GBP or $23k USD in England for one in very good condition. That'll come down to £7k GBP or $13.5k USD if you want a runner that needs a clean-up. They've all done over 120k miles though (as it's a drivers car). That's really not far out of reach for a lot of people (if old 911's are your thing). Good, sound car.

Ok, given that it is Yellowbird... um that kind of makes it an RUF if I am not mistaken.

Ok, given that it is Yellowbird... um that kind of makes it an RUF if I am not mistaken.

I tought too that blackbird was a Yellowbird painted black..
but its not..

the Yellowbird is based on the Carrera... also its engine developes more than 470hp and its twin turbo.. also has a Top Speed of 341km/h (NO JOKE) ..

Now bear in mind that the Blackbird begin being a 930 turbo clearly with side air-intakes..wich are not in the Ruf CTR, neither Blackbird was ever a Carrera (Turbo is wider) ... also the blackbird.. even the newer 964 one with twin-turbos and tunned by Kitami strugles to get to 320km/h..when the RUF went to 341.. and Kitami said he would first increase in 100 the hp and get it to 500hp.. wich means it had first 400

So definitilñy Blackbird is not (sadly) a Ruf CTR.. currently its a 964 Turbo..and i think the engine is still th 3.6 flat six.. you dont need to stroke or bore when you have still plenty of power avalaible with the turbo boost..and 3.600cc its not precisely a "small" engine (in fact..with the exception of the Testa its the biggest engine in the series)
