Hi guy's,
I'm going shopping on monday and was wondering what to get,
So far i have in my collection : Tokyopop Initial-D 1,2,3,4,5,26 and the first volume of 'Path of the Assassin(Or Hanzo no mon in japanese)',
I was wondering weather to buy another volume of Path of the Assassin because i enjoyed the first one and get 2 new manga's,
Or to leave Assassin and just buy three new manga series's?
(The reason i'm not buying more Id yet is because i haven't read it all yet(Currently on vol.3))
And for new manga which do you recommend?
I was thinking maybe Bleach,Death Note and Fullmetal Alchemist.
(I buy them in 3's because in forbidden planet there doing a 3 for £15 deal happy.gif )

Not to promote or advertise but theres many sites out there that all you do is pay $5.00 USD a month to read all the manga you want. Including a lot of the mainstream series you just mentioned. If you wanna know more just PM me.

Thats understandable. Well two of the series you have are good choices. I enjoy Bleach. I've been reading it for over a year or so. Same with Death Note. I finished that a long time ago, but that is still one of my most favorite reads. By now they've produced all the english mangas I beileve.

Lol, I wouldn't waste money on TokyoPop's Initial D mangas. They are utter crap. They edited and changed them so much, they ruined Initial D. The fact that you ACTUALLY bought them surprises me.

Go get some scanlations and see what all you have been missing.

You know they've gotten better over time. Im not trying to defend it, but I walked through a store the other day and noticed there up to the end of the Saitama arc. Im really surprised they got back on the ball and is trying to finish the whole ID series regardless of sales.

But I've never been too much of a serious Initial D fan to begin with..So I never took the hit from Tokyopop too hard.

Actually I hate to admit it, but I think that Tokyopop did quite a decent job in the English Manga (I will not say the same for the Anime though.) I myself bought them and is quite satisfied with it overall.

*Puts up flame shield to the ones who are going to dislike me for what I just said.

if you're into japanese car culture: you might want to check my post titled, "Shakotan Boogie, Countach, Tokyo Broker, Grand JDM"

Its about other car culture mangas released but are not as famous compared to Wangan Midnight and Initial D... well, i guess its just that these new mangas dont have any advertising yet anyway...

visit www.auto-otaku.com to check out the details and source of the post too...
