i used to do left foot braking. But since i am forced to drive a REAL car, i need to learn how to do only right foot pivot braking. But i prefer right foot, and now, my driving has gotten a hell of a lot better in this game. i can't say the same for real life, though. I suck at throttle control. Never stomp on the gas. In real life, and you're not racing.

(Then again, do you really need the brake in the game? Other than a quick tap?)

Critical on Auto, helpful on Manual.
More essential on C1/NBL, Osaka, Hakone than on Wangan/Yokohane.

I haven't really driven on any of the other courses, but for the king ghost on Yokohane (I think it's upwards, haneda ramp start? don't remember)
I never let off the gas, ever, except the one left red hairpin where I do a quick tap of the brake to dive into the turn quickly.

Yokohane is THE ONLY course I can currently drive right now (i've only been playing for 3 weeks) but I've mastered it to the point that no one can beat my king ghost (till they lose so many times they make it slow)

guess I should try and 1up my ghost pinch2.gif

I use the left foot for braking... I mean what's the use of using you're right for braking???( That's pretty fast switching...) Then you would lose acceleration...
But I was practicing not to use the brakes...( Just like my dad used to do but dunno how...) I would just step off the pedal while turning...

If you wouldn't use the brakes, you will lose less acceleration...

I use left foot braking (because I've been playing arcade racing games for more than a decade and I haven't driven a really life car yet).

So yeah.

P.S.
Once I get to drive a real car for myself, then who knows. We'll see till then

what the heel toe ?

It's when you just use your right foot and use the heel to brake and the ball of your foot to accelerate.

I see you have shit dexterity in your feet. It's simply just moving your foot onto a sideways angle.

Yup.

You just need to see some Initial D anime for more about it and you will know how it's done wink2.gif
