I start to tune a Z31 today, this car was slow but fun, not bad in IR (except in wangan line), not suitable for beginner if you want unshaded, and of course you can't tune the Z like Harada, that's imposible. Don't make mistake this car is good.

Here's my S15 currently: Aero kit A, Texan Shotgun rims, hood with vent, aero mirrors.

It's slippery, so I'll probably change it soon. I'm trying to find a setup to improve acceleration.

Z31 is not a weak car.

It's powerful, but nobody chooses it because it looks so old.

The Japanese have been able to hit 2'51 on C1 IB with this car ~

Not many cars have broken the 2'51 barrier for C1 IB...

Question : Is there any BIG differences between the three Rs? (TA wise of course, because battles are mostly boost on so it doesn't really matter) Thanks in Advance.

Oh, sure, that's totally right. An R33 or Z33 could totally take the #1 IR for Hakone Outbound if they had any skill. /sarcasm

Not all cars are equal. Noobs need to stop saying that the car doesn't matter. It does.

I was thinking on starting a z33 tmrw. Anyone have any suggestions on a T.A. setup? What would be a good battle setup as well?

s15 is quite slippery without a gt wing.
@ R-Z have you read the shift-point thread? that's a better way to improve your acceleration as opposed to changing your setup and im pretty sure your set-up is acceleration based too. AERO A is the speediest out of all 3 for the s15. i say if you use aero A use the wing by type of car, it gives you a little bit better handling and also you won't loose too much speed to downforce. also change your rims, texas shotguns are heavy and = grippy, so if you want better accel change to a lighter one. theres a thread somewhere where people explain which rims to use for what.
===>http://wmexpressway.net/index.php?showtopic=27278&st=0 -wheels
-shadow says yokohama 3 spoke the lightest and fastest.

s15 is good. not the best, but solid.

i took the c1 and osaka crown for awhile =) so it's good on those maps. on hakone i just feel slow. maybe cause i don't really play that map. and i dont really play yoko/wangan/nbl. cause i suck at them.

Depends. I have a Z33 and gone through almost all 46 stages of tuning. Firstly, the Z33 is horrible at cornering. It slides like crazy in most corners but it makes it up in the insane top speed and acceleration.

If you want best top speed at the cost of less cornering, you need:
No aero kit, completely stock
Any lightweight rims, but I do suggest the Enkeis to get a feel for it.
Carbon Hood
Aero mirrors

If you want more cornering at the cost of some top speed, you need:
Aero Kit C
Any lightweight rims
Carbon hood with duct
Aero mirrors

The Z33 is a pretty okay car for battling since the sliding can work in your favour. But I'd suggested Aero Kit B if you want ramming...

s-15 is good... but feel like acceleration is not too good, I think that s-15 is best at osaka, at other tracks like wangan or hakone... errr... I prefer didn't play those tracks... ^^
