I should really enter my GRB into OCM, but it's too late for that now.

Wat are the differences GRB-C and F? In terms of handling, acceleration and top speed. Which car is better in battling(including blocking and ramming) and TA

methinks you meant GDB spec C and spec F, the subtle differences are as the same with Evo VIII/IX

Spec C = Evo IX
Spec F = Evo VIII

battle wise and TA superiority is same logic as Evo 8/9

and that was the two centavos from a GDB-C user as his former main car

actually it's the opposite

GDBC = Evo VIII
GDBF = Evo IX

and well... Maeda buffed evo > subaru..

if u want to do some TA, GDBC is the perfect choice compared to all other subaru cars..

if u want a really good entertaining battle, choose GDBF biggrin.gif

Even the logic for using EVO8 and EVO9 are quite minimal

However that subtle differences between GDB-C and GDB-F maybe a bit obvious than those in EVOs

The logic might look the same in both, however, I personally will rate GDB-F with a technical note, I tend to pay a little more attention on both sides while sneaking through cars

Both are stable in straights, and can drift a little through corners

all in all, it really comes down on how you play more than that physical differences

Sorry for necroing this, but.....

Does anyone else here drive a GC8 in MT4? I feel like I'm the only one here and where I play that does...... I recently revived it after I used it to participate in the Osaka OCM qualifiers.

Yeah, it's rather underrated among the other Imprezas.

Personally I like using Aero E on it, looks closest to the stock aero.

Thinking of making a GDB-C because of the engine sound and maybe a GC8. How has the GC8 improved in 4? I know it's low tier in previous installments.

GC8 is a rather underrated car, only thing that's good on it is handling.

I haven't really driven mine much since 4 was out as I've been focusing more on my other cars.

gdbc > gdbf, battlewise. it has good handling and it can easily burn opponents. gdbf can easily be burned ( i don't know why) and a weaker handling. win win situation for gdbc

Based on my usual playing area only brian uses GC8

Then again I still haven't been motivated to use GC8 until now =/

It's a rare car, not many people drive it here too.

What happened to all those EJ25 rename users? Rather weird....

TR0LL is in their province. He was influenced by former mr-s members ver and sid to bad vices so his parents force him to live in their province.

Team Crow's Didat also uses a GC8 once in a while. I don't think I've ever beaten him in a battle wherein we both use that car.

Anyway, the GC8 was the first car I started with in WMMT4 last year partly because of Initial D nostalgia -- I've always had a GC8/8V as one of my cars since I started with IDv3 in 2005. I've had this mindset that I trust this car a lot more than the FD and the 2000GT... like pulling off last-kilometer miracle passes. Although MR-S guys like Jekat and Xomy have told me before about making a car that's good at blocking/burnfests, for me, the GC8 is the closest thing to one. And, I'm not one to usually engage in burnfests either.

GC8's top speed is rather weak: 349 km/h. I used to do NBL CW TA runs and I don't always hit 349 at the tunnel, and even if I do, it's only for a split-second. One thing I've always appreciated with this car even in IDAS is its "just right" handling: not too grippy and not too slippery either.
