I guess you should try it out for yourself. since each wheel's effect is relative to your car's class.
with an S30, it slides an awful lot and then the car feels so light, like even an R2 could throw you off line a lot.

IMO, heavyweight cars feels quite good with ENKEI Rims.

I'm using RPF-1 Rims on both my GT-R [BNR34] & Z33...

They feel more stable on tight turns...

Yo, can anyone recommend rims for the FD?

By the looks of things 57F is a good choice, but can anyone give something from Rays and Watanabe (cause these are the last 2 companies I got left before I get to max dressups). I know I can change everything afterward 47 (I think) but I'd like something between now and then.

EDIT: My setup is

Aero C
GT wing 3D
Carbon Fiber Duct Hood
Aero Mirrors
Gunning for Mazdaspeed Sticker (not that it matters)

Try using Advan T6, the feedback is quite nice

Tried them on my MR2.....now I want to go back to the TE37's. Felt like it gripped better, especially on C1 and Yokohane.

You might want to try using the Rays TE37... its quite grippy if you're having a problem of your FD flying all over the place... then again, its just me and my personal setup...

If you already have the 57F, you might to try sticking with it too if you're already comfortable with it...

Ive been reading the thread. But I dunno what type of wheel to use for my s30z. I need grip, but i want it so it still increases my acceleration. I was thinking about the Yokohama ADVAN TCII. But I need recommendations.

ok, everybody wants both amazing grip and amazing acceleration.

they don't come together.

you have either one of the following...

good grip, slow accel
balanced grip, balanced accel,
less grip, fast accel.

@xeoreg - well I guess balanced grip and balanced acceleration is good. But that wont do much for a car. tongue.gif And I think the s30z is actually quite slippery, like i slide out too much. especially on right u-turns. eg.... c1 left turn after the 2 danger signs. I think inbound. I hate it so much. I try and brake and down shift 2 gears and even 3 sumtimes but I keep hitting the wall and my entire car stops and stuff. I have done that turn with an evo9, r32, gto and supra before and I manage to get it done perfectly or just nip abit of my tail and move on.... what is wrong? Does that mean my s30z needs more grip or more acceleration? Help?
