QUOTE (J^2 @ 15 minutes, 34 seconds ago) | The only way I can think of mileage being legally reset is when you build a new car from a discard. And again, how little mileage are you talking about? Less than what 10100 stories mileage looks like or mileage under 10K? And no, mileage does not reset when you transfer your cards. |
thats not mileage being reset tho... thats... a new car totally

Hey brothers, i shaded my card at story 19 due to my lack of concentration. Any advice on what to do? Continue with my shaded card or recreate? What are the implications of this loss that resulted in me being shaded? I've searched for answers in many respective forums but did not find a clear answer so please help a fellow brother starting out wmmt3dx. If you shade, you don't get to get the Midnight R soundtrack when you finish the game. That's not real big loss. And also you don't get to get the special tachometer. But that tachometer doesn't help at all and is actually ugly so there's no big loss. You'll still get 825 regardless of how many times you lose, as long as you complete all 100 stages.

@Geo, movingtonewao: Thanks for clearing my doubts! Btw, any tips to tune for the stories to come? i.e. 20-100. Like should i go speed totally or controlling totally or there is a ratio to it? Because i realised for the main part of 1-20, you just need speed on wangan.

QUOTE (Air23 @ 1 hour, 13 minutes ago) | Examine the route before you start and plan it out Its up to you
Ill leave everyone else to tell you recommended HP |
Thanks! Btw, am i clearing S-turns properly by turning the first turn with a sharp jerk and releasing the gas slightly during the second turn? I usually downshift and release the gas. Is that the right thing to do?
Sorry for the bombarding of questions. Had to ask all these as my FD keep losing to my friend's EVO despite the same settings. One bump from him screws up my line and i can't seem to beat his acceleration. D:

QUOTE (EnyCe @ 49 minutes, 46 seconds ago) | the set up doesn't have to do anything with battling. it's the driver. & to answer your question, you'll know if you're doing it properly if your exit speed is 245-253 on the S-turns. |
Then why are people recommending different set-ups for battling and TAs?

QUOTE (roxas3 @ 1 hour, 12 minutes ago) | Simple. Because they did the TA to that style, hence they suggest others to that style. But the main thing is to only TAKE it on board. Only you can figure out what HP and dress-ups will work for YOU only. They did it according to their style, each just as unique from one another. Only you and you only can figure out the best TA HP or the best dress-ups for yourself. |
Your answer's the key to clearing all my doubts. Thanks!
