Well, when I use the RX8, I tend to overrev a bit on the first gear, then normal beep shifting. Any lower would cause the acceleration to be unbearably slow pinch2.gif

Yea...it suffers turbo lag somehow... dry.gif
This is kinda why you shouldn't put a single turbo in an engine that revs up to 10k rpm... laugh.gif

I need a good set up for my FC... can anyone help me plz?? its full tuned, but im not sure what set up can make it go faster, apparently is not the "best" car to use in WMMT becoz it is a bit slower then the others... sad.gif

if you want a FC that grips like hell:

3D GT wing
aero mirrors
aero C
carbon duct
yokohama RCII ? (the last yokohama wheel)

makes the FC feel much heavier... and would be able to counter the heavier cars in battle.

@tofu
Interesting config. I'll try that out on the FC that I'm about to make.

@bekk, Momo, FClover
I tried your technique last night and while I was still left in the dust at the start of the race, I was able to catch up with them in a shorter span of time. happy.gif

yeah.

FC with aero C hates hakone... does pretty well in the highway courses though, minus wangan (top end sucks)

aero C makes the FC feel like its wearing "boots" T_T doesnt feel as light footed as a stock FC does.. it makes a huge difference.

Yea...but it took away the FC's Light-weightness...
Can't do what I usually can do with it...
So I went with the B-kit anyway... wink2.gif
The lightest of all 3 kits...

If you overall best qualities for battling and TA, go for the Rx-8. If you go for the looks and performance, try the FD. And if you want a real challenge, as far as top speed and keeping up with everyone is concerned, go for the FC. Though Tofu just said here a while ago that he has a setup with his FC that allows him to go toe-to-toe against the R34s in a ramfest. wink2.gif

@Tofu
Well...when I drive my FC...I don't really ram...I just try to pull as far away as possible...
That's why the setting... laugh.gif
I'm Currently having this setup

Aero B
Normal Carbon hood
Watanabe 8-spokes
3D-GT wing

Woops...sorry...
I thought that was the name since everyone was calling it the 3-spokes anyway... laugh.gif
Well so far the effects i felt on the rim was it's real light...
Accelerates faster...Not bad cornering...a lil bit on the sliding side...
Downside is it will make the car less rammable...

The Mazdaspeed 6 is the imbalance car of Mazda...not as good as the evos or skylines but it'll do just fine... wink2.gif
