This is a noob question but I want to ask it to you guys.

Is Takayuki Kuroki the leader of the R200 Club? I was under the impression that he's the leader of the R200 Club when I played MT2 but plays fair racing.

I also got this impression when watching the last few minutes of Ep.14 wherein he's witht he R200 Club guys in a restaurant.

But I then read in the story mode just recently that he's a representative of FLAT Racing...so he does not belong to the R200 Club at all?

Kuroki is not the leader of the R200 club. He was a part of it, until they started acting wimpy. Then he left the group.

It's a shame that we won't see these episodes subtitled for a long, long time.

I beg to differ atmos. Superjakko has subbed episodes 7-10 recently so I don't see why we won't see 13 & 14 done in the near future. We should be getting 11 & 12 pretty soon as well

If I recall correctly, SJ has little to no knowledge of Japanese and is working on correcting subs from a bootleg Chinese DVD. Apparently he only has transcripts up through episode 12.

So basically, after 12, he won't be able to sub anymore. We're left in the dark.

I'm just a casual lurker on these forums though, don't burn me at the stake if I'm wrong.

Actually, that's not a bad idea...anyone interested in campaigning WM to some small fansub groups and seeing if anyone would pick it up?

We have a small group. Nomake can translate, SJ can time/typeset/encode, and I (as well as some others I've seen offer their time) can help. The problem lies in getting everyone's ducks in a row. People have lives. That's understandable, but doing things you enjoy is part of that. I enjoy watching WM and I'm willing to put in 4-6 hours a week to the cause which is MORE than ample time to get a single episode out. If others are willing to do the same, then we can all reap the rewards.

People in the past have asked "Why are groups like Datebayo able to get an episode out so quickly?" And I've heard retorts along the lines of "Because they have many people working on them!" Truth of the matter is, "many" people really doesn't matter when it comes to TWO single episodes a month of ONE specific series. Only one person can translate. Only one person can time. Only one person can encode. Sure, 12 people could wash a car togther and do it faster than 3 people, but only one person at a time can drive it. In otherwords. the more people the better, but you only need so many. I think we could cover the workload. It's not like there's an extreme backload of episodes that need to be done. Six episodes to get up to date, then a slight backtrack to maybe clean up any inconsistancies in the episodes already covered.

Eventually what will happen is some big group will see the amount of hits OMFG/HG/SJ's torrents are getting and swoop in and take the whole series and have it done in a few weeks. This doesn't bother me, but it kinda negates all the hard work Nomake and SJ have done to date. It would be kinda cool to keep it in the "family", if you will.

Well, if you guys can do it, more power to you. I'm not trying to be a nonconscientious asshole and suggesting that you guys should drop everything to work on this, I'm just simply saying that since there isn't a steady output of episodes [We've gone months without one before] it'd be nice to have a group steadily doing it.

Well, any way I say it it sounds like I'm being an asshole and ragging on you guys, but I'm really not trying to.
