So i've been doing TA's with my s15 for the past week and i can't seem to break 3'53'xxx with it. in my evo9 i can do a 3'52'xxx.
s15 = gt-wing + aero c
evo9 = official machine.

having trouble on the first turn.
-do you have to brake? (i do for about 1/2 a second)
-what should the exiting speed be?

and on the walltap corner?. [the last red corner before the end]
-is it actually faster to walltap?
-what should be the exiting speed be?

on the squigly yellow turn after the long ass straight
-exiting speed = ?

high 59's
high 56's
high 56's
high 59's i think.
and my usual is like

Aww dude, I hate 1st person view, can't see how to take the turns. (Sorry for being picky, natural habit) If you want, heres a run I did a while ago http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HlqWgc-PSos I went from 3'52'XXX to 3'50'9XX Major improvement. :]

I pefer 3rd person view because I'm used to the view since wangan 1 days, that and I find it better to see your surroundings as to 1st person view you can see your corners better. For me, I don't like seeing the ground.

@ battousaiii: For the S15, consider trying Osaka once using the official machine, and once using Watanabe Cyclone rims, if you aren't using them already. That should help find your personal balance settings.

@R-Z;yeah i've used the official before and accidently on 740hp and got low 3'53'112 or something. rofl. then i did it on 760 and it was a bit to slippery. but i shall give out those rims a try. but on the set-up i have now, its grips well but at some turns it gets a bit slidey.

@zerobass;yeah whatever NOOB. haha.

I only break for 3 corner, 1st corner in 1st belt line(starting ramp), and the 2 corner "inside"(check the map).

most of the video's i've seen no-one walltaps on the first turn, but they also only come out around 220-235. their times are ~3'49/3'50
they also break for a bit on the first turn.
but wow. you come out at 245-250? thats really fast.

@z1t0 - yeah i know what you mean, its really difficult to judge it and sometimes i end up coming out slower than breaking. especially on that last red turn.
