QUOTE (leopauldelr @ Today at 2:39 AM) | I have a trouble. I watched the Filipino version of Wheel Of Fortune every weeknights and then the prize car I saw was none other than the rare Geely CK sedan. Can anyone know about this car? Just what is the Geely CK sedan. I never saw that kind of car flashed through my eyes. Please tell me about the Geely CK sedan. |
*facepalm*
That's not how you're supposed to make troll threads on an English board. Here, let me help you get started.
Improve your English. Your sentence structure looks F**King weird, and it makes you sound like someone who's just Fresh Off the Boat. If you try and troll a board with that kind of English, you've already lost. For example, the tone of your paragraph in general already seems to come off like you're itching to tell someone about your car and increase the size of your e-penis, especially with the phrase "Can anyone know about this car?" Let's not even get on the issue of how HORRIBLE that sounds, but the phrase "Can anyone" already makes a fairly obvious challenging statement. If you continue with that phrase, chances are its gonna sound like "because I know it and you don't" at the end. Change it to an actual question, like "Does anyone" because that sounds more like you're asking a legitimate question. Then, when someone tries to reply to your thread with the answer, BAM! Put in your "unknown insider information" as a reply.
Don't try to sound like Cyrano de Bergerac by trying to spice up your sentences with dumbass phrases like "I never saw that kind of car flashed through my eyes." It makes you look even more moronic. Just the phrase "I've never seen that car before" works fine. If you want to write flashy descriptive sentences, write yaoi fanfiction so you can appeal to the hordes of fat, sweaty fangirls looking for the next Akio x Tatsuya fic.
Also, it helps to go "I've searched for it on Google, but I'd like to know what you guys think." That way, it masks your superior car intellect by feigning ignorance by making it sound like you tried to search, but couldn't find an immediate answer. At least the feigned "effort" will get people to sympathize with you and try to give you an answer before you start teaching them the right thing again.
In essence, your trolling thread should sound like this:
QUOTE | I watched the Filipino version of Wheel Of Fortune one time when I saw that the prize car was a sedan which they called the Geely CK. Does anyone know about this car? I haven't seen it before, and Googling it doesn't seem to yield any immediate results. |
Now go back to English class, and GET THE F**K OUT. Someone close this thread please.

I like the edited version you posted, but I like this one even better:
QUOTE (If Nomake were to post this thread) | I was watching a show like Wheel Of Fortune one time when I saw a sedan called the Geely CK offered as a prize. I googled it and found out some basic information, but I wanted to know if you guys have heard about it, and what you think. |
You'll notice that I removed the smiley (smiley overkill is bad, mmkay?), restructured the sentences so that they're short and to the point, and made it clear that while I did expend effort to research the car on my own, I am much more interested in the community opinion.
I will leave this thread open, hoping that leopauldelr will learn his lesson.

QUOTE (Wikipedia) | The Geely CK is a sedan automobile from Chinese manufacturer, Geely Automobile. Production began in May, 2005. The "CK" name stands for "Freedom Ship" or "Free Cruiser". It is sold as Geely Otaka on russian market.
The CK holds the distinction of being the first Chinese automobile ever displayed at an American auto show, although it was only shown to the press and not the general public. Geely plans to begin selling the model in Puerto Rico in 2007 on the way to beginning sales in America the next year. The CK was also shown at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2005 along with four other Geely models.
The CK is based on a South Korean design by Daewoo, Tower Metal, Wooshin Systems, and CES, which Geely licensed. Its 1.5 L engine is a Toyota Motor Corporation design, also licensed. It produces 94 hp (70 kW) at 6000 rpm. The automatic transmission is built in China, the first to be manufactured there.
Recently, it has been shown that the vehicles are extremely unsafe in collisions. Comparing the video to other available crash tests, it shows that the collision protection for the occupants is worse than a Volkswagen Golf Mk1. |
There, quoted from wikipedia. I did all the work for you. Car sounds terrible. Designed by daewoo, 94hp output, and it looks pretty heavy. And I lol'd at the unsafeness.
