Well , I prefer using one hand cause it's more easier for me to change gear
QUOTE (PanzerID @ Today at 12:57 AM)
one hand usually unless i know i wont need to shift for awhile (wangan line, Yokohane)

Now that I'm doing Manual for some battles, that's pretty much what I do. But I keep my hand hovering over the shifter in case something comes up, which is a good thing - it makes for quicker shifts and lessens shifter impact (the harder ones can tends to sound like someone banging on your door at 2:30 AM).
<When it comes down to it, it ain't gonna me who broke the stick!>

It's more like a "soft-shift", resting the hand's heel on the base, lightly grippng the shifter while shifting -- LOL, I gave my friend a weird look when he said he liked my shifting. Weirdest thing I ever heard regarding my gameplay performance.

So, two hands for Auto and some Manual while 1+1 "soft-shifting" for most times that I Manual.

I use one hand most of the time, especially when racing on Hakone there is a lot of corners that must be cleared smoothly by using the shifter(engine brake). smile.gif

Other players will have a difficult time to make me use both hands on the wheel. shifty2.gif

One hand on most tracks apart from WANGAN and YOKOHANE.

Too much control needed on WANGAN especially to use one hand.

One handed harpins are nice too.

Read the poll again, there is your point. You seem to be the only one who missed the point. wink3.gif

In case you still miss it, it is not how many hands you use to play the game, but how many hands you use on the steering wheel.

i know that much

but even those with one hand on the shifter will use two hands at some points.

no one exclusively uses either way.

The only time I EVER use two hands is when my arms are tired or I'm trying to catch up and need extra control when I attack the inside of corners..
