I just wanted to put this out there to see what kind of interest it would generate, if any. I have a friend that makes shirts for bands and he may be able to do these for us in very limited runs.

I know they aren't the most exciting t-shirt designs. I simply wanted to make them look like the coveralls that were worn in the specific shops.

Like I said I was going for the exact look of what they wear in the series, but maybe just white or black shirts would look better? Maybe the logo bigger and centered?

Let me know what you think. I did this once before for a website I ran and everyone wanted one, when they were finally made everyone backed out. Now I own 30 shirts for a website that I don't even run anymore, so I'm skeptical, but I'm still thinking about it.

Depending on shipping and price i'd get one. I'd like an RGO one in black but with the logo centered. Also, you reckon you could do a Speed Shop Sinohara one? But I won't buy one if the price is crazy like $40+

Oh no, more like $15 tops. Basic black shirts with a single color ink wound up costing me less than $10 to make. So adding in a second or third color wouldn't push it up that much. Whatever it costs, that's what I'll charge.

I think I'd rather the logo centered, larger, and just on black or white shirts myself. While the coverall thing is cool, I doubt I'll be able to find shirts to match the Green and RGO colors.

Yeah, In that case I'd get one depending on how you pay. I'll have to get a paypal account or something. And the black centered design works best. Having that green logo on the green shirt would look a bit poxy for people who didnt follow the series.

You guys are from Austraila? I would have to check, but I can't imagine it would be that high for something of this size and weight. I mean I'll ship it in a padded envelope. Not like it's gonna get broken. wink2.gif

I'm thinking the fees won't be big either. It's just the time it takes to get here. I remember I tried to buy a shirt off drifting.com. Fees aren't that bad. It's just that the store was dodgy and never sent the damn shirt... But this way is better. We can stay in direct contact over the forum so shit like that won't happen.

Yeah, no worries, I'll always be around. smile.gif

It doesn't look we have much of an interest except us anyway. If we do get a few more on board, we need to settle on a design. I haven't watched past 14 or read the manga besides what's been translated. Where down the line do Speed Shop Sinohara show up?

To my knowledge sinohara only shows up in the live action movies. They're not actually in the manga, but they're a real life tuning shop. If you watch the trailer for the live action film on youtube you can see a sinohara sticker on the side of the Devil Z. I'll ask around and see if theres any interest round here. Team SRS was looking for team shirts so this could be a good idea for us.

HAHA. Yeah, I'd wear all three too! If I get it rolling, I'll offer all sizes.

Midnight: I'll go check out the trailer again. I didn't notice the logo on the Z when I watched it in the past.

I think maybe RGO might be the right choice for a first print. If it all turns out okay maybe we can do another design later down the road. Let's get some more feedback first. There's no rush.

Sounds fantastic. I'll defiantly be getting an RGO one.

Thanks FC! I was actually thinking about a BSS one as well, but didn't think anyone else would be on board.

So is this something that most of you would be interested in for a first run?

I would be interested in a Speed Factory RGO shirt. I think you have enough interest tto make a small amount of shirts for the board members. If they sel out and there is still major interest you can always make more.

I would really like a shirt with the Wangan Midnight Expressway Forums logo on it Like on the banners. Or just the Wangan Midnight logo itself.

Keep us posted please,
Mike
