The old rim guide wasn't getting updated any time soon, and it was all in one post, so pictures wouldn't be able to be included. So I'm completely re-doing the rims guide complete with the original notes, pictures, and ☆Maeda☆'s comments from the WMMT website. Enjoy the revised edition of the rims guide.

Credits to RIT_ninja for the original guide, Xeoreg & Geo☆☆ for information on the rim color unlocks, and Namco's website for the pictures

NT03 + M Dress up level - 6
used for endurance and for heavy cars
recommended for GT-Rs

This wheel excelled in endurance races and touring car races. Even though it is a slender fin type wheel, it is also appropriate for heavyweight machines. In fact, it used be used with the Skyline GT-R in endurance races.
The brace ring around the inside of the wheel lets the wheel endure high G-forces. The brace ring is also used effectively, as it improves the wheel design.

TARMAC WRC EVO LIMTED EDITION FORGED Dress up level - 10

This wheel says nothing but everybody understands when they see its five beefy spokes that it was forged through harsh rally stages that require strength.
This is the most appropriate wheel for the Lancer Evolution.

JS + M Dress up level - 15
lightweight and brake-friendly
recommend for Silvia or MR2 or mid-weight class cars

The five slim spokes will help you get a taste for the weight saving and good radiation performance of the brake. Don't overlook the color! Black is really rare in the Wangan Maxi games.
Because it is slim and light, we highly recommend you use it for middle sided sports cars such as the MR-2 and Silvia.

RPF1 Dress up level - 19
design for feedback, lightweight and very stiff
the design and varieties of colors best matches any car for appearance (rice)

The design of wheels used in the top racing fields was fed-backed to the stock cars. Quality oriented light wheels with a high level of stiffness.
The twin spokes make these wheels seem light under foot and nimbler than wheels with the usual six spokes.
The color variation is also superb; you can easily find the color most appropriate for your car.
Colors available: Silver, White, Brown

RS + M Dress up level - 29
very stiff and solid handling

Wheels inheriting Enkei's traditional seven-spoke design. Since the spokes are joined at the exterior edge of the wheel, they look larger than the actual wheel size.
You may think it is too slim at first sight, but each spoke has an enhanced rib, realizing high stiffness that feeds-back straight to the steering.

RC - T4 Dress up level - 35
recommended for Imprezza-based cars

Racing wheels full of Enkei's techniques for sports wheels. The fact that it has been used for racing cars in many races proves its true power.
This wheel is most appropriate for racing cars such as the Impreza.

VOLK RACING TE37 Dress up level - 2
lightweight wheel and very stiff
recommended for big heavyweight cars (eg. R34, Supra RZ)

This heavy hitting popular wheel is a milestone in sports wheels in Japan.
It is no exaggeration to say that the history of Japanese light-weight forged wheels began with this wheel.
This used to be one of the most popular wheels on the race scene, and its light weight and high rigidity mean that is still first-class even today.
As this wheel has thick spokes, we recommend you use it for heavy sports cars with a big body.

Colors available: White, Bronze

good grip? (maybe)

A wheel reproduced from earlier masterpieces using cutting-edge technology.
The characteristic shape of the spokes is still fresh even now. Many of the cars at the time this wheel was released were equipped with this wheel, so if you are a middle-aged ex-metropolitan highway runner and used this wheel, you should select this for your car.

Black Enkei Forged and Black TE37's do not exist.

This thread isn't about what colored wheels you WANT, it's about what wheels are in the game.

Please don't try to confuse other people here...

Swapped my Evo8's Gabbanas for RC-T4 - I like the lighter weight of the RC-T4, but am aching for the handling of the Gabbanas. This statement isn't contradictory - my analysis is the Gabbanas are heavier and less push-resistant than the RC-T4s, but the RC-T4s have better accel at the cost of push-resistance (weight).

I only posted what data I did have, and RIT_ninja's information pretty much covers it.
