Hi, I just registered to add my input on my local options for Wangan.

I was out of town for a bit and missed it, but apparently Circuit Circus, the large arcade in West Edmonton Mall on the west half of the mall, has closed. All machines, including the eight Wangan 3 cabinets and the two ID4 cabs are long gone by now. I didn't see this mentioned, so I figured I would spread the word.

Canada
Ontario (specifically the GTA):

--Playdium:

Missisauga
ON, L5B 4C1

(4) WMMT3
Special comments:
$25=160 credits, 20 extra credits with SPC card
=about 16 cents a credit (without SPC)
7 credits per game=7*.16=$1.12 cents a game
14 credits per card=14*.16=$2.24 a card
Second machine from right is pretty glitchy at times
http://www.playdium.com/

--Cineplex Odeon (Brampton):
20 Biscayne Cres.
Brampton
ON, L6W 4S1
(905) 455-1778
(2) WMMT3
Special comments:
$20=75 tokens
=about 27 cents a token
3 tokens per game=3*.27=81 cents a game
Cards are never stocked
Right machine has NO stiffness on wheels and gear shifter is broken, but playable.

--Playscape (Pacific Mall):
user posted image
Upper level (you can't miss it)
(4) WMMT3, (2) WMMT2
Special comments:
$20=50 tokens

3 tokens per card=3*.40=$1.20 a game**
**Prices are for MT3

About 30 mins away from where I am at there are two WMMT1 machines, .75 to start, .50 to continue, .50 for a card. Both machines have an issue, the one screen is a little fuzzy, but the other one sometimes won't shift into 6th gear.

Ello everyone!
srry about the long update time, its my freshman year of collage and im kinnda bogged down with schoolwork and my job, barely have any time to troll anymore lol. Anyway, updated everything from pages 3-5. Very Proud to have added New Zealand and South Korea to our growing list! Also, Im still on the fence about Sydneys change to DX, * pinch2.gif * fear2.gif *Bracing for Dares outburst* pinch2.gif * fear2.gif *, but yah, just one final conformation would be nice, and that goes for anyone who knows of new DX changeovers.

Now...

I have in the works for a tasty little overhaul of the directory. First off, the list will now be arranged alphabetically. I think it will end some of the double posting, (mostly on my part pinch2.gif ), and slight confusion trying to find your county/state.

Question:
Should I arrange countries alphabetically as well, or should I group them together according to region (ex. Europe...North America...Asia...)?

Second, Im thinking of changing the format slightly.
Refrence:
Sample Format:
---Name of Arcade
Address
(#) Cabinets, what series
Special Comment
Website

If you have any suggestions on a new format Im open to any and all ideas. I want something easy, to read and post.

Thank you for your participation not only in this thread but on this community, looking forward to hearing from everyone! peace!

Nah, no cabinets near me... Its frustrating that arcade games are my favorite thing in the world basically, and any place that had decent machines (including movie theatres/family entertainment centers) are gone.

The most I can do is like... play House of the Dead 2 now.

Group them by Region (usa, canada, europe, etc) then alphabetically by state/region/etc then alphabetically by city.

also, Castle n Coasters may be converting to DX. not sure yet.
I also adjusted the monitors a little so they look a lot nicer.
we replaced the adjustment rails recently because one of them failed, so we replaced both to make sure it doesn't happen soon.

both machines are extremely well maintained (because us arcade attendants do nothing more than play MT3 allllllll day long)

Are WMMT3 and WMMT3 DX were defined on the directory just the same? Are they really the same? Only the updates were different? Does that mean WMMT3 DX also have the cheats on WMMT3? (I mean the secret cars...)

It's hard to believe this location wasn't mentioned.

California, Orange County
---Nickel Nickel
7454 Edinger Avenue, Huntington Beach
(4) WMMT3
(2) IDV4
Special Comment - The Machines here are VERY nice, always fixed when needed. It's 45cents per game and continues (9 nickels). Yes, nickels are used in this arcade but there are some pretty decent games here, although I believe they bank off of WMMT3 and ID4!

ARGH! SOME OF THEIR MACHINES THAT WE ALSO HAVE ARE CLEANER THAN OURS!!!!

*rages and decides to dismantle Super Shot to clean it*

their fireball machines look nicer too, but ours are older I'll bet.
