Hey guys, kinda new to the forums n shtuff so yeah happy.gif . Just wondering, i ordered Wangan Midnight for the PS3 from Ebay just recently and was wondering how it compares to the WMMT Series in the Arcades. Im a big fan of the anime series, and have all the WMMT Soundtracks and was wondering how well the game plays in comparison. I will be using a Steering Wheel with 6-shift gears to play, just for reference (Cant play WM without a wheel amirite? wink2.gif ). So far ive heard a fair few good comments about it, but as always there's critics out there tryin to bring a game down just because they can which fills me with a bit of doubt. So what do you guys reckon? Is it worth adding to my WM Collection?

to answer your question.. many people say its more realistic, soundtracks? it won't be the same the producer of Wangan Midnight for PS3 or any console ( i think ) are all by GENKI, arcades by NAMCO, okay thing about critics.. i dont recommend you listen to them.. most of the time they find a reason to try put the game off thats my opinion.. reviews from similar wangan midnight fanatics are the best to go for.. if you are genuinely a wangan midnight fan.. go for it

This game has alot critics because it's not as beginner's friendly as Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune.

FYI, if you've played Tokyo Extreme Racer before. The game was more similar to that series. They only share the same Wangan Midnight story & chars for the game. But not the gameplay, they're TOTALLY different.

Yeah thanks for that OSK i checked out the thread you linked, it answered some of my questions but didnt answer my ultimate question: Is the drift system the same in Wangan Midnight as it is in WMMT? Im definetly hoping so (Or is at least similar) because im mainly buying this game as a source of practice i guess when im too broke to go to the arcade and blow ridiculous amounts of money there xD
