since talk in the Gundam 00 thread has become more about gunpla and less about the anime and that midnight hasn't made one, i'm making a thread for gunpla, talk about gunpla here, post pics of your gunpla here, etc i'll start the ball rolling i bought a 1/100 Tieren ground type today, have yet to start so here's some pics of the box details < silver box above white pic of tieren says "mechanical detail", which is pretty much why i bought it, it looks so pretty and detailed < look, the hatch infront of the head part is closed < and now there's a guy popping out of it lol yay, shame i had to take these with psp cam i'd take bigger pics but that'd probably become too out of focus <<

Oooh you beat me to it Moss well here's my collection: 1/144 00 Gundam - Most poseable 1/144 scale gundam EVER. This thing has so much articulation its not funny. 1/144 Overflag - Holding both Graham's custom rifle and the standard issue rifle. I thought it looked awesome like that 1/144 Freedom Gundam - Awesome design, but crap model kit. The feet are flimsy as hell and its hard to get cool poses because the wings make it top heavy 1/144 Shiranui Akatsuki - Really cool model and my first special finish model. While I think the special finish is a bit much, it was fun and challenging to build. It's shown here with its dragoons in flight which is a nice gimmick. 1/144 RX-78 and Guncannon. I've also got a Guntank, but I don't have it on display because I don't really like it that much. Buying the whole set was cheaper than just getting these two seperately. 1/144 Nu Gundam. I REALLY like this model. It's huge compared to the other 1/144 scales. Plus it comes with lots of features that are usually reserved for master grades. One of my favourites next to 00 Gundam. Funnels come off seperately and everything. Here's a picture showing you how tall it is compared to RX-78. Both Amuro Ray's gundams. SD 00 Gundam and Exia Gundam - Not really a fan of SDs but these guys look awesome. Exia was my first gunpla ever lol. I've also used him to start practicing painting and detailing. You can't really see it in the photo, but i've painted the other side of him with his red stomach and I havent gotten round to painting his other side, but i've detailed his shields with gray and waiting to buy white paint to do the top. And my other random models. A non-poseable Destiny gundam which looks alright for just a statue, Revoltech VF-1 from Macross, and Revoltech Gurren Lagann This post has been edited by Midnight Star on Feb 8 2009, 12:50 AM

QUOTE (kirashin @ Yesterday, 4:01 AM) | wat??0-raiser and 00 gundam is sold separately??no wait..SERIOUSLY??or is it juz me..lol |
They sell 00 raiser seperately, and together... if that makes sense, they have both models sold seperately, or you can buy the bundle which comes with both, but the 00 Raiser i think looks better with the seperate models, the special bundle has the blue parts molded in a slightly lighter blue, doesn't look anime authentic... Anyway, update update update! Instead of the 1/144 exia I went for the 1/100 exia, its my first 1/100 model and i'm very impressed, I wanna get some more 1/100 now to display him with, might get MG crosbone so I can display my melee gundams fighting! Anyway, here he is, I haven't painted any details yet, gunna paint his GN sword shield though and his cheeks since they dont come with the yellow sticker. Still trying to track down a green gundam marker too to detail the clear bits. AAAAND, 1/144 RX-178 SUPER GUNDAMMU! This guy is from zeta, And I love him so much, Gundam Mk 2 looks so awesome alone, but in super form he just looks extra tough, it comes with some sort of fighter which I don't know the name of, but the fighter attaches to his back and he can use that big long rifle on his left which you can't really see in this photo cos it's so damn long, I think it's taller than the RX-178 itself, but yeah, it looks badass. Still trying to track down Zeta itself though. None of the model shops round my area carry it in HG 1/144. Only MG which is far too expensive. Might as well buy the HGUC 1/144 super gloss version and do a matte coat on him because I hate super gloss Edit: Just snapped a picture of the rifle to show size comparison, it's almost twice the size of gundam.
