Mostly starting this thread for me and HateSkyline's to display our GLHS projects, but anything about Dodge turbo cars can be posted up. Stories, pics, opinions (good or bad ^_^ ) videos whatever. As long as it pertains to boosted Mopars.

This reminds me, I need to set up a shoot with my friend's GLH. I also need to race him, but that's a different story entirely.

Also, does turbo Chrysler count?

Mopar = Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth ;)

You don't have an Omni though, thoses are the top turbo k cars.

Meh, Omni's are ok, I'm just not a 4-dr guy. Besides, the Charger is the same chassis and more aerodynamic ;) And yeah, it's nice to live out in the country, I do try to keep the cars out of sight as much as possible, or at least parked neatly. Also I have a couple sheds to keep some under, plus the privacy fence to hide them behind :D Plus, no immediate neighbors.

I was referring more to the lack of a Chrysler engine in my car. ;)

I've never actually seen it, as he always drives his Evo to events, but as far as I know it's at least got a bigger turbo. He destroyed an E46 M3 from a dig the other night with the tranny stuck in 2nd, to give you an idea.

That Omni on the dyno would be preety quick!
I want a TD Omni in the future, but its max speed is 125mph vs. the 130mph in the Chargers. The higher co-efficent drag would show its weaknesses even more at higher speeds.

lol shelby GLHS Rampage anyone? ;D

There's quite a few Rampages w/ Shelby noses/ground effects on them, along w/ turbo swaps. There's 1 or 2 w/ the Masi engine from a TC, I think 1 w/ a TIII engine from an IROC R/T, several w/ a 2.4 Turbo swap (SRT engine), and a bunch w/ regular T1 or TII engines. These are 2 I saw at SDAC 17:

Here's another vid, 11's on a $90 junkyard engine :D That guy has done a lot w/ the 3.0, the built engine that he pulled out (not sure what happened to it) made 516whp. Funny, he puts a stock engine in and runs faster lol.

Nope, the engine is in the Shelby Z already :lol: I'm gonna build another engine for the 'S, a better one. It didn't have the original engine anyway.

Do you have any ETs from his runs?

Lol, nope, it's never made it down the track yet ^_^ He's just lately got it running and halfway tuned. It has SDS engine management on it. He got it running halfway decent, then the clutch died on him last week while driving around the block tuning lol. He has it pulled apart to replace it now. Also, he still need to get custom axles for it, the stock ones will die on the first launch lol. He had some cut but they ended up being too long, so he's got to get them re-done. He hoping to be making 600hp at least.

Whats his set-up? The turbo and longblock ect.
