I generally race anywhere, but my top favorite is Yokohane - nice combination of speed and cornering. Followed by C1/NBL, Nagoya, and Osaka. The guys in my group actually avoid Wangan like the plague laugh.gif (especially the west section where there's no opportunity to choose direction). Interestingly, the girls of our group prefer Hakone grin2.gif (and one of them is really good at it, hence I nickamed her "Queen of Hakone").

Nowadays, it's really Nagoya and gaysaka.

Personally, I have high preference for Yokohane, a bit of C1 and a bit Nagoya. Nevertheless, I ultimately try my best to be able to race in any course/location.

Even if I'm not that fond of Wangan and Hakone (cause I suck on those maps), I still prefer using random cause I can learn to practice and improve myself in the courses where I'm weakest at........

So there.

Cause... well, it gets boring if you play seriously.

If you play with your mates...then yeah, it is damn fun.

I race everywhere. But my favorites are Hakone and C1. I have played MT3DX for 3-4 months but my mates who have played MT for more than a year always choose OOSSSAAAAAKKKKKKAAAAA. Makes me sick just looking at the map. In fact they like it so much that whenever I choose Hakone or another map, they get so scared and when the game chooses Hakone, they're like giving up before the race starts. It's pathetic.

It's because hakone is one of the most demanding courses for reflexes and timing, and people don't like that, they prefer predictability, like osaka...

Straight, brake, turn and repeat several times over!

I know but isn't it addicting? (Well at least for me lol) I like unpredictability. It keeps me focused. Like playing GT4 or GTPSP. I always pick the Nürburgring because it's a track that has loads of room for improvement much like Hakone. Even if you're the best driver in Hakone or the Ring, it will still leave a big smile on your face because you completed something hard. Osaka is really simple, (there are more right turns than an oval (ok that sucked)) when you know the course really well, that's it. There's no enjoyment left because it's so easy. It's like driving on a long straight line. How can you be better if the only thing you need to do is drive straight.

^- not drive straight. more of drive right. And back then I thought osaka was easy too. Then I saw a TA run. It changed my mind man :/ Osaka is harder than how it looks. Once I learn how to drive without breaking. I'd say it's boring already. I say Nagoya is easier o_o I NEVER break there XD

Yeah... totally agree...

I usually go for random. And cross my fingers and hope to hell that it doesn't land in Hakone. But, eitherway, even if I lose a battle, I count it as training in Hakone, so I am good...

I am sick and tired of battling at Osaka...Like..every 2 battles that I did...Osaka would be one of them...

In fact, I am pretty sure that out of the 40ish or so stars in my E9.. 30 came from Osaka... Damn.

Not that I hate Osaka or anything..in fact, I am pretty good at it... I am already breaking the low 3"51s. BUT I AM DAMN BORED OF THAT PLACE, SWITCH THE MAP ALREADY!!!!

Then...Nagoya came out.

I nearly slit my throat.

ahahahah yeah i also dont like does maps.hakone is actually my favorite.hakone is the map that i would always want to race on but most people dont like hakone so i just choose random so that my opponents will have nothing to say about the map that i picked because it was random aahahahahahaha

Hakone is the best map to earn stars ...
Hakone Time: 2mins +

Osaka brothel: 4mins +

Nagoya whores: 4mins +

where are the times when C1 is the most map???

i came to a new and final theory
in MT3 ... we have the Osaka Whores
in MT3DX .... those whore population grew including Nagoya

my conclusion is .... new players nowadays are Nagoya and Osaka Whores unless they prove to be otherwise which is highly unlikely

Hehe reminds me of this guy I battled. He always asks us to go for Osaka and Nagoya. When we picked C1, then that's where the fail began........

He couldn't really keep up with us to the point that he just wanted to lean on our cars (and perform a 'walltap' on us). Just to keep up with us.

Hehe talk about fail there laugh.gif

Predictablity has nothing to do with it. They pick it because that's all they know how to fking play. If it's predicitablity then I can say the same for Hakone.
Turn, gas, brake & repeat.
