Yeah. I still play GT4 Still. Can't wait for the official GT5! All i've been doing is just modifying cars most of the time. Only thing that sucks, is that the 240Z in GT4 can't take turbos. Therfore, I have to use natural aspiration. Even doing that, It still cant hit 300k/hm sad.gif .

Cant be bothered with GT5P anymore. I think GT3 was probably the best. Even 4 was pretty good.

GT5P i havnt really taking a shining to. The cars just feel too tight and proper.
I like to feel the cars moving and sliding a bit with out all that under steer.

But im looking forward to GT5. Should be a lot better than GT5P

I"ve been playing 4 mostly to get my fix, Poly need to release GT5 by the holiday season though, since there hasn't been an amazingly good sim racer for the PS3 yet. I mean I know they want it perfect, but its been how many years?

Well, for the physics being weird in GT5P, welcome to the real world. It's pretty accurate overall. Hell, I thought I couldn't do oversteer in a bloody Cappuccino and yet not only did I oversteer but spun out too. To be honest, I'll be interested in GT5 and with GT on PSP having Lambos, things gotten a lot more interesting.

Game on Forza 3. XD

Play GT4 often, I loved that game.

Haven't bought a PS3 yet...so I can't say how GT5 works...

Very interested though, the cars look so damn realistic, almost feel like I could open the door to the car...

The first GT game I played was GT2 at a friend's place when it was the rage.

The next game I play though, is GT5P, which I got for my PS3, and stuck with since (my favorite car to use is the Nissan GT-R!).

The first GT i've ever played was GT3 A-spec. Then GT4. All crappy graphics compared to Forza Motorsport and Forza Motorsport 2.

Sorry, but it's the truth.

I WILL be wanting to try out GT5.

Oh yeah, there was a demo on PS3, at Game Stop. It said that it was GT4, but the graphics were too good. Was it GT5-prologe?

It is Gran Turismo 4. Maybe the game is set to 480p. Yeah, Gran Turismo is one of my first PS1 games. The license tests are hard for a racing game, and they can be annoying on every installments. I like the feel in Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec, but in Gran Turismo 5, I hope they can get the same feel as GT3. It is the long-running semi-sim racer up to date.

You can run GT4 in 1080p rather then 480p. That will even out the graphics for sure.

Yeah, I knew that, but I never seen a Gran Turismo 4 Playstation 2 kiosk at Gamestop. All I can see are the Playstation 3 and the Wii.

Not really.

Tried running it at 720p.. the picture is clearer, yes, but no drastic increase.

I just wish they would make a decent wheel for consoles =.=..

All those wheels like the Logitech etc feel so unrealistic - I mean when you let go of the wheel it should straighten by itself and not need to be turned back manually.. =.=

?

Logitech force feedback wheels have an optional "Spring" setting that lets the wheel return to the center position if you let it go. I have it turned on for my Logitech G25.

Besides, nothing beats the G25 for a wheel that includes a clutch pedal and 6-speed H-shifter (all fullly supported by GT5).

How do you activate "Spring" setting??? I had the GT4 wheel and I couldn't see any spring option for it? How fast does it return to center?

Can you also change the Steering strength? As in can you make the wheel lighter?

Oh, I was referring to its use in Windows. When I use it in GT5, "Spring" mode is always on. Its return to center is about .5 seconds from 90 degrees from my observation.

Unfortunately, Force Feeback strength settings are fixed in GT5.

Kazunori has announced that Gran Turismo 5 will be out on March 2010. Now you have two options to get the full game, get the Japanese version this March of next year or wait for the international version.
