So what will you guys do if card system changes?
i'd probably end up starting again. Id still stick with my R34. Hopefully though they allow multiple cars per card, that would be good.
Id like to have my R34 for battle, RX8 for TA, and either S30 or R2 for the lols.
the more i think about it, the more i like the idea of a new card system, that way everyone has to start again with a clean slate, no renames.
On a related note, if you can have multiple cars per card, do you think it should be necessary to tune each one individually, or just tune 1 and it essentially tunes "the card" so all cars on that card are FT? DU would be diff though, each car individually.

I don't think they will change card system on the basis of, how much money are namco going to lose if they don't sell magnetic cards... I mean, look at how quick people are going through cards in the countries which play a lot, hk, jp, sg, indo and etc (sorry if i miss any country out). They would make so much less money if they don't keep the same card system.
I wouldn't be so sure if we could transfer mt3 over or not, i would assume on logic that dx you can, but some countries haven't had dx yet like Uk, and probably never will. So unfair to countries which never get dx and not being able to transfer. I'm sure namco will find a way through.

Well, considering you can't transfer from MT2 to DX, I doubt MT3 can move up to 4.
But who knows, Namco will find a way to keep their money-making machine running smoothly.

QUOTE (BearZ @ Sep 10 2009, 01:30 AM) | i hope MT4 will be
1. harder than MT2 |
Waah Jesus Christ. As if MT2 version B with its uber-hard story mode is chicken shit for you I'm sorry but I may have to disagree with you there as it could turn off a lot of players. Beside, if you want uber-hard difficulty and realism, well we have Battle Gear 4 for that. Not that I think you're wrong but I respect your opinion. Though I would still have to disagree with yeah there. Sorry....... @anyways Even if they use an all-new card system and thus everyone would have to start from scratch (ala ID4), I would still be willing to start anew as long as it is as fun to play as MT3/DX. Otherwise I may not pursue such. It's just like my response to ID4. Better graphics, detail etc. but you can even select the f**king BGM and even worse for me was that the physics and even the story mode characters were even harder than before. Ugh, in ID3 I can beat up to Takumi Fujiwara and Bunta Fujiwara yet in ID4, I'm still having a hard time beating Ryosuke Takahashi.......on AKAGI for god's sake. So yeah, got turned off by that (hence why I only play it once a month) With that said, I personally hope MT4 won't go that route.......
