1986.5 MKIII Supra with 205XXX kms

got it a couple months ago and haven't taken pics other than the one the owner used in the ad.

life was good with it for a while but i failed it sad.gif
and it got a bhg.

but, thanks to a local mechanic saying it'll cost $2500 to fix, i was able to convince my parents that it'll be better in the long run to spend the money swapping in a 2jz grin2.gif

so as it stands atm
it's got
7mge, auto

and when i'm done it'll have

2jzge-T, manu
+ supporting stuff

but due to the magic of Australian driver laws and my slow trickle of income, this project will be spanning 2-3 years and by that time it'll have plenty of k's on it, so i'll get some new shell or maybe a hiace and swap it all into that.

for starters i'm taking the old motor out, which i'll be doing this weekend.
as the car is 1.5hrs drive up north, i won't have updates until monday, also since atm i lack an engine crane and car jacks the amount of progress i make is unknown.
either way, it's a long journey i'm setting out on.

I would say stick with the 7mgte but since you live in the great land of Aussie laugh.gif

So SRS branching out from the VIDYA to real life?

if it was a 7mgte that didn't have many km's on it i would.
but it's easier (for me atleast) to get a turbo on a 2jz-ge rather than a 7m-ge.

actually we branched out a while ago in the 323
