So apparently, no one posted a HQ quality of Hakone yet, and I finally found one. But he crashed once : ( This video is interesting because this driver wall taps the red turns in Hakone Inbound as well and still manages to get a decent time. The only other person I know who wall taps in Hakone Inbound is Jimmy 155 on the first red turn, so I found it quite interesting to find another wall tapper for Inbound. I also noticed this driver's driving style is VERY different from all the other Hakone video's I've seen. Anyways I hope you enjoy this video =D

I dont think his early gear shifting at the start stuffed him up that much, but that wall he hit (the one he wasn't supposed to) did >_<

And I like his style smile.gif wall tapping is fun.

I tap in both inbound & outbound, it gets me better exit speeds.

tapping and not tapping is about as fast as eachother, its just some people do walltapping as for them its more consistant.. consistancy comes a long way with a track as long as hakone is now
other than that jimmy used walltap because he literally cannot brake for that corner, everytime he does it he fails miserably lolol

tbh walltaping on IB section is very incovenient...esp with my driving style of minimum steering..

everything is precise so that exits can be kept

but yeah...really depends on the driver.

Wow, his style is completely different compared to Taromisaki's doing for that track.
