Notes: WMMT5 cabs are generally now OK in condition, 3rd cab freezes at times while 2nd cab does not have 1st gear and sometimes does not shift/drops to neutral from my exoerience.
3DX+ cabs are mostly damaged, shifting only kicks in 1st, 3rd, and 5th gear from what I see and cabs 3&4 are "Under Maintenance".

The NCCC cabs will be in operation next month but unfortunately I will not be there to take note of stuff but Jammy might be able to check it out.

Didn't go thru all the pages so if NZ is included then pardon my addition to the thread, but there are quite a few machines in New Zealand, and by that I mean the Southern Island.

This pertains to the Christchurch area:

Christchurch Airport has 3 ea, 3dx+ machines (each one has some sort of issue but still playable)

TimeZone at Riccarton Mall has 4 Maxi Tune 5 machines with kiosk, and 2 ea, 3dx+ machines.

Lastly, Burger King located on Moorhouse Ave has a small arcade Timezone and in it is also 4 Maxi Tune 5 machines with Kiosk.
(I mean, for realssss?!) Burger frickin King! But this is what I've seen when I was just here this past March, 2016.

There might be more around and I'm pretty certain the Auckland Airport has at least 1 of these games as its a pretty big hub.

Wow, seems there are alot of locations in NZ then. Sweet!

Not entirely sure on the address of the Christchurch airport but its the big, international airport located at the corners of Memorial Ave and Orchard Rd.

The 3dx+ machines are on the international side and definitely before security so anyone can play them.

I left my hotel room one night while staying there and blew $15 just to play the English version. Wish the volume was louder there though.

At the Christchurch locale, there used to be a great Timezone arcade in the downtown region, in it was MaxiTune 2, where I first played this game. After the big earthquake hit a 5 years ago, the arcade was ruined. So this site is no longer available.

Well...somebody is back from the dead. Played Maximum Tune today for the first time in I'd say 6 years.

It was at Round 1 in Arlington. Figured I would give an update on it. Cost for a play is one credit, while for a new card it's three. However, I do not know Round 1's conversion rates for dollars to credits. When I got there, two of the four were turned on. However, cabinet #3 got an error message when I tried to get a card, so I jumped on cabinet #2. Later a technician came to turn on cabinet #1 and reset cabinet #3. Cabinet #4 was dark the whole time.

There are also FOUR Initial D 8 cabinets, instead of two.

There will also be a Round 1 opening at the Grapevine Mills Mall on May 20th. I have a strong feeling they will have at least some version of Maximum Tune. From someone who peeked in the doors, there are four Initial D 8 cabinets.

In other news, I visited Las Vegas, NV over the past weekend and the "new" Gameworks. I was sadly disappointed with the WMMT 3 set up with both cabinets showing "Card reader not functional". The location has been added to my local copy of the locations worldwide.

On the way home, I checked out the Gameworks in the Ontario Mills, CA mall location. They still don't have the cards in stock.

Nickel Nickel still hasn't opened yet, and it's quite frustrating, as they have about 25 of my discards in their machines and I have yet to be compensated for them...

I'll hold off on adding this location until it's open and hopefully you can give me definite information! Thanks for the heads up!

Another update from the Round 1 Arlington location. Cabinets 1-3 were on again today, 4 was still dark. I tried cabinet 1 but it has a loose shifter.

Also, I have a general idea of how much it is to play. $15 gave me 65 credits on my card. It costs 3 credits to play. After doing the math, 3 credits is about 70 cents. To get or renew a card, it would cost around $2.80, or four swipes of the card.

Initial D 8, on the other hand, is absolutely ridiculous. Roughly $1.40 to start the game. If you want a card, add roughly $9.80, or seven swipes of the card.

Quantum SM San Lazaro has token based budget cabs and it's 5 tokens to start game and 3 tokens for continue with nominally 5PHP per token.

Probably because it's "brand new". And wow really? Ahhhh why is quantum here not putting up mt5 cabinets? D;

About Round 1 in Grapevine, TX, sounds AWESOME by the way!! .....I wonder if the owner there bought both 3Dx+ machines from the seller on EBay that I bought mine from. His warehouse was located just out of Grapevine.

You guys are lucky to have such a nice arcade too...drool.

I have some hopefully good news...

I went to Sherman Oaks Castle Park and happened to talk to the lead tech that I have known for many years.

He told me that they have ordered WMMT 5 and should get it in "July or September".

I hope this does happen! They got rid of a lot of games for some silly huge simulator machine.
