Updated both Northern California and Southern California location lists. Most of the changes were for hours of operation and prices for unlimited game play.

Sadly, Camelot Park Bakersfield got rid of their WMMT 3 cabinets, which were never working for a long time anyway.

New arcade in Lincoln, Nebraska (USA) at Gateway Mall called Round 1

They have two sets of 4 connected MaxiTune 5 machines (so 8 seats total) and 2 terminals. They sell the Bana Passport for $6 at the counter, not at any of the machines. It's about $0.75-$1.50 per play, depending on how much store credit you buy.

The address is 6100 O St, Lincoln NE 68505

Their website lists MaxiTun 5 as one of their games, and they're a new chain opening tons of locations. It might be a good idea to scout all of these out and see if they all have the cabinets.

EDIT: Proper formatting
EDIT 2: Looked at website for more than 5 seconds, they claim to have at least 4 Maximum Tune 5 machines at all locations, added second URL

Round 1
Address: 6100 O St, Lincoln NE 68505
Hours: 10am - 2am (21+ after midnight)
Cost for a game: ~$1, possibly less if bulk credit
Card Renewal: $5 a year gets you a discount when reloading game card
Notes: Bana Pass is sold at the counter for $6, not at any of the machines
Cabinets:
2 sets of 4 connected Maximum Tune 5 machines (8 total)
    2 Maximum Tune 5 terminals

Thanks. I will add this listing to the master copy. All I ask is if you can advise me how many credits the game is, since I have now heard that ALL Round 1s have increased their prices, as of today.

Also, edited your listing to match the other R1 listings.

Old price was 6 "credits", now it's bumped up to 6.4. This is still one card swipe, of course. I'm not going back until Wednesday but when I do I'll also get a picture of their cash-to-credit chart, since its not on their website as far as I know.

Hey just thought you might want to know, the Round 1 at Sun Valley Mall in Concord also has 8 (2 x 4 connected machines) WMMT5 cabinets and 2 Terminals.

Unfortunately, they've been having a network problem there for the past week or so making banapassport cards unusable on their cabinets and terminals. They seem to think it's a problem on NAMCO's end, but they are likely mistaken. It might be a while before they get them working again!

I called them today and they told me the issue was "probably fixed." I asked if they could confirm, they asked me to hold and then basically just told me the same thing. I'm going to head up there tonight and confirm. I'll follow up and let you know if Banapassport cards are working on those machines now. If not, I'll probably end up going to the Golfland in castro valley. Saw a bunch of guys from the north american wmmt facebook page there the other weekend!

Edit: I visited the Round1 in Concord last night and have confirmed that the Banapassport cards are working on their cabinets again (except one of the machines, for some reason, never allows you to use it, but the other 7 do)

Edit #2: I visited them again last night and the machines are once again having network problems making the banapassport cards unusable. The manager told me they should have it fixed by Tuesday. They seem to have a lot of problems at this location and not very well managed.

Update (2019-02-02): After repeated attempts to call them for around 30 minutes, I finally got through and was told that the issue is still not fixed. They're claiming its because the arcade cabinets are underground and getting a poor wifi signal (why they worked fine before is a mystery.)

They said it will be another 2 weeks to a month to fix it. Sounds like they don't really intend to fix it though, I don't know why it would take a whole month to run a $20 ethernet cable to some arcade cabinets. Will check back in if they ever decide to fix the problem.

Update (2019-02-15): I went there the other week and the Banapassports were actually working. According to the staff there, they've been "hit or miss", sometimes the banapassports work, sometimes the cabinets randomly disconnect from the NBLine service making them unusable, so it really depends on how lucky you are - their network is a mess and their staff don't seem qualified to be managing it.

Also, their cabinets are very poorly maintained (if maintained at all!) Kids regularly abuse the shifters and gas pedals. When I was there, only 3 of the 8 cabinets had working shifters. The rest had shifters that either wouldn't shift (always stuck in neutral) or only had a handful of gears working (2nd gear, 3rd and 5th gear, typically.) A few cabinets sometimes have problems with the throttle (i.e. only getting ~50% throttle/1.0 on boost gauge when flooring the gas.) Staff don't seem interested in maintaining these machines and don't seem to realize the profit they're losing by not maintaining them for hardcore WMMT fans. I will try to keep you posted on any further updates regarding this location

Updated my local listing with your information.

By the way... if the cabinets / Terminal are offline, all the tech has to do is to go to the respective cabinet(s) / Terminal having the issue, flip the test switch on then off, and it should reconnect to the network.

Updated the Southern California location list.

Sadly, Family Arcade got rid of their WMMT 3DX PLUS cabinets, which means there is no way to use nor renew your card anywhere in Southern California anymore.

Updated the Southern California location list.

Sadly, Neofuns got rid of their WMMT 3DX PLUS (Japanese) cabinets again, due to them falling apart. The left cabinet started to reset every so often, and the right cabinet had a non-functioning coin mechanism and gearshift.

I personally don't think that it's coming back.

Updated Southern California listing above.

Sadly, Family Arcade suffered a fire in the rear of the arcade in August. An article stated that they would reopen in September, but a visit today still showed the location closed.

UPDATE (12/19/19) - SpeedZone Los Angeles and Nickel Nickel removed, as they have gotten rid of their WMMT 3 machines.

Just an FYI the new Round 1 that just opened in Hayward, CA at Southland Mall in July 2019 already got rid of half the WMMT5 cabinets. The ones in the back got shut off and shipped to another location a few days later. Just happened recently.

The remaining cabs (which are only 5 months old and were BRAND NEW in July) are already damaged but still playable. (In order of left to right) 1 speaker on #1 is blown and 4th gear occasionally pops into neutral (you have to kind of muscle it into place if you want it to stay in 4th), there is sticky goo in the green view change button on #2 someone injected into it like a month ago that staff at the round 1 still refuse to clean up that makes the button unusable for changing view during gameplay and totally unreliable for selecting BGM before a race, force feedback is starting to go on #2 and #3. #4 is the only cab left without any major issues

Cabs will probably be dead or gone by end of year

Family Arcade (Southern California) has reopened. I heard a rumor that their WMMT 5 is now $1.25, but I haven't verified that yet.

EDIT (02/21/20): Game is still $1.00. Arcade actually looks decent now, with newer games, and back area is more open now.

EDIT (03/13/20): Round 1 - Burbank Town Center added. Also, All Amusement - Burbank Media Center got rid of their WMMT 3 machines.

EDIT (02/29/24): Obviously, lists are not updated with WMMT 5DX PLUS info. I might work on that someday.
