Do you think it would be better to own a MT machine(s), or to go to the arcade? This is in terms of saving money & having fun. Maximum Tune 3DX Cabs are $10,495USD each (not sure if cards + shipping are included) 4x10,495= $41,980USD SourceNote: Maximum Tune 3 cabs are $7,736.82USD each Is it really worth spending $2,758.18 more, to get 3 new cars, one new track, and some slightly better graphics? SourceLet's do some math for those who support the arcades: For people who constantly battle- (assuming each race is roughly 3minutes and $1USD per game) $4 for the first 3 minutes + (3x17)= $55/ hour For people who constantly do storymode, ghost etc- (assuming each race will be 3 minutes again) $4x20= $80/ hour I assumed each race will be 3 minutes because Hakone IB & OB, C1 IW & OW, Nagoya, Yokohane DW & UW are all around 3 minutes in terms of time attack. Since that's already more than half the courses, I decided 3 minutes would be a good median to choose. For those who support owning a MT machine, electricity billing rates vary from country to country so someone else would have to fill this in for me since I don't even know my own rates LOL. If I had the money for a cabinet, I'd quit the game and buy a real car.
I reckon it should be called a 'f**king proper investment'.
