It's kind of nostalgic with this new starting point since it was the exact same in the original WMMT.

I remember back then I was trying to get into 53s with 680/G.. xD..

yeh it was the entry into the S tunnel before dividers iirc.

this new start point will be interesting, seeing as this part of the old run i always used to lose too much speed on... LOL

I've only played on the new route once.....so I'm not that versed as of the moment.

Heck:
I'm still thinking on how I should approach the downhill left turn. In DX, it was the very first turn of CP1 hence you can just go full throttle........without wall tap.

For the DX+ route, I'm thinking full throttle but with wall tap.....or gas-off/release accelerator with no walltap. I don't think braking is a good option for that turn(or is it?)

Anyways, in the vid, the dude did walltap......with gas-off/accel-release.

Question is: If I go for walltap, is it a requirement to gas-off/accel-release? (cause personally, I don't want to release or brake....if I'm already doing a walltap in the first place).

I ask this cause IMHO, the way I see it, your car hitting the wall already acts as your 'decelerator'. Contact with the wall already reduces your speed in the first place.......so why use additional deceleration devices (brake or gas-off)?

Just a question (and for the purpose of learning and information) :)

Well you can see how it's done in that video.. the only reason he may tap off the gas is to get a better angle into the corner so he can get a faster exit.. although if you arn't playing high level TA it really does not matter eh.. just do whatever is easier for you.. walltap without gassing off is easy and still fast.
