I'm 90% sure it will, the reflectors have the right spread and create a decent beam. I chose driving lights rather than fog lights for that exact reason. The pictures I took were with the car turned off. I found out later when I went to start the car that the battery was pretty well drained, somewhere between 8-10 volts and not enough amperage to turn over the motor.
I did initially compare them to the brightness of stock headlights on a Subaru Legacy, and they were much brighter with a slightly fuller, and equally distant beam pattern, so they should work fine.
If they do turn out to be a little to dim, they do have H1 bulbs that could be replaced with HIDs, but then I'd have to do a few tests to make sure the housings wouldn't melt. But I'll cross that bridge if I come to it.
Tonight after the battery is charged I'll take it out to the Culdesac and compare it with the stock 300zx lights. I'll try and take some pics.
[ Post merged on Jul 22 2011, 12:08 AM ] Well, I charged up the battery and checked it out:
They are much brighter, and came out looking great and had a nice wide beam pattern.... but one small problem.... when comparing the length of the beam, these lights had a pattern that was very short....
