I know its an old series. Just wondering how many of you guys have watched/read this anime.

Also if anyone is interested, I'm selling my Manga Collection of this anime for $120. Includes books from 1 - 20, basically $6 each, each are in good condition.

But yeah....who's seen this anime?

I have watched Negima! and read the manga. I really preferred the manga over the anime (who doesn't) but I just find the whole character outline and plot too cheesy and awkward for some reason. Probably because it has to do with a 10-year old boy who has this mission of finding his long lost father and later a whole group of teenage girls follow his quest.

I actually like Negima?! because it had this Pani Poni atmosphere to it (yay Motsu and Shichimi)

Didn't get to see much of the revised anime version, but the original one was WAY too cheesy -- not just the art style, but the story was way too toned down. I mean, there's a lot more action in the manga; however, I've heard there may be problems with DelRey continuing the manga.

The manga will be continuing under a different publisher, Kodansha USA, but they're basically the same as Del Rey.

And I love the manga too. The second anime (Negima!?) is good in terms of animation and sometimes comedy but as far as manga accuracy goes the Ala Alba/Magic World OVAs are the best. Unfortunately they haven't been licensed as of yet.

I'm a huge fan of Yue wub.gif
