Left... More of a driver position comfort preference. but I'm partial to having my dominant hand being on the steering wheel at all times. Part of why I drive a wrong side drive car in left hand drive America. wink2.gif That said I have cars with steering wheels on opposite sides so I'm used to both. The Super arcade has both side shifters which I'm happy about.

I've always used right handed shift.
I'm forcing myself to get used to left handed shift though, as I do alot of traveling laugh.gif
I'm lucky my area has both left and right shifters- most of them are right unfortunately.

left-handed shifting is unnatural and non-ergodynamic. On the other hand, all Asia-cabinents and many international versions sport one. we do best with what we are forced to work with.

How do you figure it's less ergonomic? Are you right handed and just prefer shifting gears with that hand? It's just a preference as far as I can tell.

Preferably left but I don't mind. If I use right however, I'm prone to knocking over anything on the left side.

I'm told i battle better when the shifter is on the right side...

But i prefer the left (since I myself dont have a preference but it puts people at a disadvantage since its the more prefered side)

because you're pulling the shifter towards you when you shift up or down to 3, 5. On a right hand shifter, you push the shifter.
