IN ENGLISH MAXIMUM TUNE 4Credit Given to: CNR4806 Information Up-To-Date as of: Oct 14, 2011. QUOTE | If you people still aren't sure, here is a list of confirmed stuff, confirmed-but-not-day-one stuff, unconfirmed stuff, suggestions by Japansese players and completely wrong stuff so far.
Confirmed Stuff on day one: - 8 new cars: RUF CTR, RUF RGT, Skyline Coupe, old RX-7, new Legacy B4, Starion, Crown Athlete, Corvette ZR1 - 1 new course: Yokohama - 830HP Max - 20 more dress up parts - Gemballa will be removed (As proved by Japanese players during the Location Test) - New traffic car: Mitsubishi Pajero - Card transferral from 3DX+ Magnetic cards to Banapassport, 100 independent data slots and no renewal needed, inspection colours automatically given every 60 games. - Team system - Internet ghost versus battle - Release date: December 2011 (Japan) and January 2012 (Anywhere else) (Note that the date does not represent when YOUR local arcades will get them)
Confirmed Stuff NOT on day one: - Additional cars (AE86 and 2000GT) - 1 new course: Yaesu
Unconfirmed stuff: - Team system and internet ghost battle will be Japanese-exclusive - RUF will be Japanese-exclusive (Very unlikely) - You go directly from 815HP to 830HP, implying that no additional story needed for full-tuning (Shown in trailers and screenshots, but no official word on it) - The Mitsubishi Pajero will be a secret car (No official word, but judging from the Hiace/Corolla/R2, this is likely)
Suggestions by Japanese players: - More American cars - Weaker boost
Wrong stuff, go shoot yourself if you still talk about these: - Nagoya, Fukuoka and Hakone removed (They were not present in the location test, but will return in the final release) - Corvette will be oversea-exclusive - Any other bullsh!t without any kind of source. |

QUOTE (DJMONSTER003 @ 10 minutes, 27 seconds ago) | yes let's see WMMT4 if WMMT4 will be better or not better. |
I highly doubt they'll make a mess of it. Namco know they have a winning formula, and they'll stick to it.
what i'm expecting: Upgraded cabinet with better screens and seats.
uprated graphics, although not completely necessary, some rendered flames would be lovely
new cars, maybe a few new courses, new battle physics (concerning ramming and other interactions between players) car performance tweaks (standard in every other version, hoping for a boost with the z31!)
and new du parts.

QUOTE (djKyoto @ 4 minutes, 39 seconds ago) | Finally a proper new version. MT3[insert extension] is getting quite on now.
I just don't want to see say one new track and a handful of new cars. New modes, new story, perhaps 6-8 MT linkup battles?
Oh, and make the graphics not look 2004.
Thats and no transfer data tbh. Would eliminate all the dupes, even if I have 60,000km on my card. |
having that many players is very chaotic, and untrue to the anime, in fact, they only had a max of 3 racers at any one time.
it's not racing on a circuit or something xD
