Is there a limit of characters that you can post in a single post?
Cos Im having trouble expanding my gigantic post. "Board Message Sorry, an error occurred. If you are unsure on how to use a feature, or don't know why you got this error message, try looking through the help files for more information. The character limit is 100,090 characters.

Yes, looks like you've hit the hard database limit for how big a post entry can be. When it get so big, it overflows and becomes a negative number. Therefore, the forums think you've entered a negative amount of characters, which to the forums, means you have not enter a valid post.
