Hello! I am TouyaShiro and I've just joined the Wangan Midnight Expressway forums!
I will start by saying that I'm a heavy gamer. VERY heavy at times. I'm not even sure of how I find the time to do such things - I'm still at school! I live in Australia and am currently in Year 12 (let the season begin...!). I'm a bit more sensitive than most and can have some anger management issues more often than some others - I hope that won't be the case here! (Seriously, this kind of stuff actually got me in trouble with some people including another forum...I don't want to repeat any of that.)

I've been on the forums in the past, just lurking about, but only really started getting into the Maximum Tune series just recently (I've had a lot of opportunities to go to the arcade, which I'll post the details over there soon!) and want to join the discussion! (I'm seemingly a natural at games, especially of the racing genre - my first game was Mario Kart 64...back when I was only about 2 or 3)

That's pretty much all you need to know about me for now, I'm looking forward to seeing you on the Wangan line!
(oh, and if you're curious my progress on my Tuning Card for 3DX+ is in my signature.)

I look forward to it! Hopefully I can get myself some good experience (and hopefully take a look at the manga as well) for Maximum Tune!
From what I would hear it's small cars that make all the difference in Time Trial, so I might go with the Subaru R2 (everyone loves this car, don't they?) as a secondary car instead of what I was going for, which was the Fairlady Z [Z34].

You can use that if you want, you definitely won't be setting any records though laugh.gif

popular cars for TA are RX-8, Lancer evo's (8/9), Z34 for wangan.

If I was you I'd just stick with what you've got, you can still do time attack in the GT-R.

The only thing I'll say is drive a Kpgc10. And master it. To the ultimate potential.

Geez, you're headstrong about trying to lead a KPGC10 league, huh? Why not call it the Hakosuka (ハコスカ) Squad?

Replying to something that's quite a few days old...I believe this is WAR (I AM using the current generation GT-R, after all)

Ignore him. Completely. Welcome to WME! I would strongly suggest you focus on year 12 first before you go all out on this game.

As long as I'm doing my work I get to rest on the Fridays, where I can pump in two hours worth of gameplay. My next session's going to be focused onto getting every last inch of Ghost Battle out of my 370Z before renewing it, using its Present Card and starting Story Mode over to hopefully build two unshaded cars.

Don't worry, it won't be Maximum Tune that puts me off my work. (edited) It'll my iTunes downloads of Mythbusters, The Driver's Handbook (learning how to actually drive soon!) from the Government of South Australia and my overall use of the PC that'll stop it. Two hours on Friday evening might put me off balance, though.

And also, I wouldn't mind getting a Hakosuka for myself, but I'm more of a Fairlady user so before I finish my GT-R collection I'm going to start with the old and new of the Fairlady Z, meaning my next target is an S30 card. (perfectly replicating Akio's Devil Z)
