i choose a fwd eg6 as my first car so i am wondering whats the best tune setting for the car and how much power can i get with max parts user posted image
i had posted this 3 days ago on another forum but nobody answered . Whats the best tuning setup for the eg6 in Tokyo extreme racer zero ?

eg6/crx are good cars to start with. my first play ever i used that car, and ive done it probably about 10 times now. theres nothing special, just buy every upgrade you can. start with power obviously. you dont need any fancy tuning, all i do is lower the ride height when i can. its a good car out of the box. if you want to turn tighter or something you can stiffen the rear but i have never had to do that, its more of getting used to way the ff cars drive. you can do the left footed braking with your controller if you have understeering issues on those couple of tight spots.

best car to get if you want to breeze through the beginning is the evo it will beat everything stock. my favorites though are still actually the eg, crx, and fc. you do hit a point where the civic wont stay competetive, but upgrades are cheap so you can have a nice amount of money saved and more cars unlocked by the time that happens.

and a tip - as soon as you hit 1600 mileage, you will get the highest level upgrade instantly; not sure though if its 1600 or lower; I could be wrong. XD

Didn't feel much with the EG6 though... I started with the CE9A since it has enough power to start with and is fairly lightweight under the Group A class; plus its 4WD. And yeah.

P.S. If you're aiming to buy a custom Car, Jintei's R34 is the best there is.

the eg is NOT worth the mileage trick. i have done it with the crx and ek and it was not much worth it. the ek is one of those sad cars that by the time you unlock it its almost uselesss anyway

dont remember i dont play it as much these days. its not a lot. both nsx and s2k are really good and have a lot of potential. its a good question, because there are a lot of cars that are a lot harder to make use of. the nsx can last till the end of the game if you really wanted it to. i have played through a couple times with each, not a fan of the s2k because soft tops look stupid haha.

theres both but the soft unlocks first. the oem hardtop isnt very cool either, but then again i dont know if the mugen or spoon tops existed when they made it haha.

and they're pretty slow..only fast in the hands of the ai.

on players hand however,not that fast though.

better get the lan evo 3.

Wangansen = Wangan Line from Ariake to Daikoku, este DRAG STRIP Este the place where you aim for 266 mph. The S2000 has a limited top speed powerband and max you can dish out of it is below 600hp with the mileage trick. Without it, the best you can do is just 444HP.

and even with the mileage trick,i only dare bring that car at yokohane,c1,and maybe shinkanjou..and thats pretty much it.

like i said,whenever you got the chance,buy a new car.

most likely the r32-r34...and maybe jintei's r34.

i have the English version anyways . i have only two games in jap wangan midnight (ps2) and initial d for both of those i got a English translations from a faq. i only watch anime in Japanese with English subs . i usually don't play games in jap

Same here. Wangansen is included in the game; so is Kasumigaseki, Ikebukuro, Hamazaki JCT, Edo JCT, Daikoku, Yokohane K13, Ariake, Fukuzumi, Yaesu etc. All the other names in TXR0 around the map are all in Japanese names, no duh.

dude...i cant say anything more because you paid for the game.
what i can say is,that EVEN the NSX is not that good..as far i remember,the NSX only pushes around 600-700 hp..if you race on the wangan section,then you really are gimping yourself up due to insuffiecient power..hell,even the the Stagea wagon might give you a hard time at wangan...Just stick to turbocharged cars.You'll appreciate it more than you think.

well,its NOT THAT heavy..driven it in-game,and with all the weight dropped off its pretty good car...

But really,would you really drive a station wagon competitively on C1?

NO!....but Shinkanjou would do well..along with yokohane and wangan.

a bit of tidbit,it pushes 1000hp max tuned...even more if you tweaked the boost more.

the nsx is a great car in the game, unless you suck. its not the best, but picking a car because its the easiest to win with is douchey. pick a car you want and see how it goes for you. and you can always play through again with other cars. thats why this game is awesome.

the NSX is a good car..its just that its not that competitive in wangan.hell,even in shinkanjou,any car that is above than 750hp will push the NSX hard...simply because the lack of power.
