Public Speed Enforcer - 公共高速執行者

Overview: The Public Speed Enforcer is a special pursuit task-force comprised of many former street racers and even detectives or former military officers from the governmental system around the world. Their primary mission is to ensure the public safety of the streets around the world and to suppress all act of criminals, whether it's a minor or a critical offence against the law. The Public Speed Enforcers has no compromises over their expenses of budget used to procure any sort of police cars to ensure that illegal street racers are within their grasp.

History: The Public Speed Enforcer is originally established by the Japanese National Public Safety Commission long ago, when the issues of street racers running rampant with the risks of committing serious offense towards the law has become too difficult to control under normal police supervision.

Due to their members holding a lot of classified intelligence towards the darker side of the racing world society trades (such as illegal parts shipping, drug trades, car shipping, illegal race organizations, etc.), The Public Speed Enforcer operatives are permitted to act freely regardless of the consent of the governmental figures due to their almost unknown backgrounds towards the public eyes.

The Public Speed Enforcer is comprised of many individuals, but most of the time they act under very small groups (mostly consisted of 2-3 members per team) in order to prevent themselves from alerting the racers too much.

However, once they found their target and made contact, The Public Speed Enforcer will shift into a colossal force throughout the entire highway, and will stop at nothing to apprehend their targets. That point is also where the Public Speed Enforcers are free to request backup from other security officers patrolling nearby the area for immediate assistance if the pursuit becomes too hectic.

Members

Tsubame Hirano (平野 燕)

“I will send the wrongdoers to their justice, even if it means I have to break their legs to cripple them forever or tear off their arms so they won't fight back, or even if it means I have to utterly cut their tongues off so they would never speak with their foul mouths ever again, justice has to be delivered.”

Age: 24

Hair color: Brown

Eye color: Blackish brown

Rank: 2nd Grade Officer

Occupation: Police Officer/Public Security Officer

Nationality: Japanese

Car model: Mazda RX-7 FD3S (taken by the Yakuza members), Ford Shelby GT 500 Mustang (Police Interceptor Custom)

Team Unit: None (Stand Alone Individual), but likely subject to change.

Weapons of Choice: Whip, taser, .44 Magnum Revolver

Personality: Fast thinking, impulsive and short tempered, Tsubame always prefers to do things her own way, despite the warning of her colleague members in her normal methods usually result in her overdoing things. This was from her trauma when she was coldly treated at the world of racing in her area when she’s still a street racer with her RX-7. Believing that to overcome her fear, she chose to be the fear itself and stepped up to be a police officer and returned the favor of how the racers treated her back then by arresting them whenever they’re caught in act. Tsubame is relentless when she’s on duty and will stop at nothing until she accomplishes her missions. But off duty wise, she’s easily sociable from those who are friendly to her.

Biography: The protagonist of the story. Tsubame is a former street racer that has long since given up the fame of wanting to be the fastest racer. Believing that she can use the talents of her driving for a better purpose, she choose to apply as a police officer after losing her old car towards a ruthless racer that challenged her for pink slips. And coincidentally, the same rival that once defeated her while tampered with her old RX-7 FD was one of the many wanted drivers on the police department that has been causing a lot of trouble towards public safety on the open highway roads. The driver was none other than Kazuto Sato, one of the more well-known Yakuza members known in the Japan area.

Taking this into account, Tsubame vowed to take down every last street racer that is related to the Yakuza organization and reclaim her old car once again so that she may dispose of it after discarding it piece by piece to throw away her own past and move on in her life.

As time went by throughout her career, she has arrested over 80 street racers that have been charged for many illegal trades such as drugs, illegally imported parts and weaponries and sometimes even illegally obtained race cars from around the globe. Throughout her years in service of the Public Speed Enforcers; she has been known for her uncanny ability to quickly intercept street racers under hot pursuits and precise timing of shutting down races that is jeopardizing public safety.
For now her primary priority of carrying out her duty as an officer is to track down all Yakuza members that are involved in illegal trades and street racing, as well as to finally capture, and bring Kazuto into justice, at the same time reclaim her RX-7 for scrapping.

Driving Style: Tsubame is a very sharp driver and can make precise calculations at a very swift time thanks to her quick reflexes and instincts upon reacting to runner cars’ maneuvers through her constant hot pursuit experiences as a police officer. And when things got hectic, she wouldn’t hesitate to swap some hard paints with her own car to apprehend her targets. Due to her fiery nature (thanks to her old racer’s die-hard attitude), when responded with ramming, she’d do absolutely anything to bring down her target until his/her car is completely out of commission before she went in and go for the bust. (She has a long history of wrecking over 20 illegally modified race cars before discarding the parts in the scrap yard.)

Police Car Interceptor: Her GT-500 Mustang is fully equipped with necessary tools to bring down any hard targets instantly, such as an EMP Burst device that can overload the suspect cars’ electronic components and force them to pull over. On other occasion her trusty GT500 is sometimes replaced with compact Spike Strip devices that can puncture running cars’ tires and force them to a dead stop. Other than these two equipments, her car’s also wired with a GPS system that can be used to track down specific suspects easily as well as other necessary communicating tools to call for backup units.

Where did the story take place?

The global world actually. But our story starts in Japan, since the main character is a Japanese after all. The story will keep progressing as Tsubame continued on her pursuit of tracking down Kazuto before bringing him into justice.

The Japan's story is more or less an arc among many stories that will be told later on.

How long will the story go?

There's no telling how long will the story really go, seeing as crimes will never rest, as they say, so expect a lot of actions going on once this is really started. Until then, thanks for stopping by.

Next update will appear tomorrow. smile.gif

Well, now that introduction is done, let's start things off with the Prelude.

Public Speed Enforcers 公共高速執行者

ENDLESS ∞ GiG

Prelude – The Fateful Day

Smokes are seen everywhere, it was a dark street and it seemed like there’s only any vehicles other than ordinary ones will emerge around this small twisted sanctuary of foul stench. People are seen moving about under drunken state and their heads are literally swinging about under hallucinations. The scent of alcohol can be smelled strongly even from afar…under the night skies of the Japan area, the Tokyo city is filled with an increasingly vast number of street racers dancing about around the public street at past midnight time.

Roads are blocked and hogged by these street racers, as they claim territory of the roads as their own “turf”, at the same time preventing pedestrians or public transportation vehicles to pass by for what might appear to be important business work. One angry truck driver is seen driving pass the road block sign which was guarded by a few men while the street racers are still enjoying their crazy party on the opposite of the road. He was confused and pondered what was going on in front. His truck’s hazard lights were turned on in case of something bad happening.

“Hey, what gives? I don’t remember there’s any construction going on here!” The driver spoke impatiently as he glances at his own watch, realizing that he’s already late for delivery.

“Road’s closed, trucker! Take another way around!” The man guarding the closed road replied, he’s seen wearing a sleeveless black shirt and has piercings around his face. He also has two tattooed arms, quite similar to that of a typical Yakuza member.

“God damn street racers…” The truck driver took another route as he angrily turned his truck away. And from there beyond the street racer circle, two cars are seen at the starting point of a road, painted by the party members there. On the left corner there’s a blue Mazda RX-7 FD3S, followed by the right corner, there’s a black Nissan Fairlady 350Z. Both cars are revving their engines in heating up for the race that’s about to happen soon. There are also a few other figures seen surrounding the two cars other than the audiences.

Both cars were; what many racers that appreciate true exterior modifications style would call; riced to the core, as they have big rear spoilers, underglow neon lights and ridiculous-looking vinyl and bright colors. Even their headlights were modified to the point beyond recognition of the original design of the cars.

Eventually, there appear one man peeking inside the door of the RX-7 and told the driver inside this;

“Hey, how’s your car running? Better give up before you embarrass yourself, girl!” The man snickered before he walked towards the black Z’s driver seat. Soon after that, a woman appeared from the crowd, as she walked slowly towards the RX-7, she glared at the driver of the FD with a very arrogant smile worn on her face.

“Still wanting to fight on? You might as well just crawl back to where you started building your rep, kiddo. You know this isn’t some video games, don’t you?”

“…Mind your own business, pussycat. Why not just go crawl to your master and purr around like you always do?” The driver of the FD shot back and the woman got angry as she stomped towards the black Z together.

“First I am gonna take your ride, and then I am gonna repaint it with our Yakuza’s honorable color! We race for slips, One round at the C1 Inner, winner takes loser’s car and loser quits racing, how about that?” The driver of the black Z declared as he revealed his own face from the driver’s seat. He has short black hair, wears a sleeveless black shirt and has a pair of dragon tattoos on each of his arms. The female driver of the FD ignored his remark and concentrated on the road ahead of her. She knows that result is what it all counts in the end, no matter how people trash talk. But nonetheless, she accepted the rather high stakes of the race by saying a simple “Fine, I accept.”

The woman came and took the pink slip from the Z driver, then followed by the female FD driver whom just accepted this huge gamble. It’s all or nothing for her now, because if she lost, she’d have to walk home and she’d have to quit racing for good.

As both cars are revving up again before the race begun, the crowd begin to cheer for both cars, but mostly seemed to favor the black Z33. But it didn’t bothered the female driver one bit. As the woman that insulted the FD driver stood between two cars at the starting line, she prepares for the countdown of the race.

“Ready? Get set…and….” Both cars revved even louder and the tension is rising steadily. As there are so much at stake at this one race, both drivers have nothing but focus on their strength to do whatever it takes to win it all. The loser will no longer have the place to speak for themselves from this point forth.

“GO!!” Both the FD and Z33 blasted out at full throttle as they zoomed towards the roads leading to the Shutoku Area after leaving the Yakuza-only zone.

Slowly after on, they have arrived at the Tokyo Tower area nearby the C1 Inner area, and from that point, the traffic cars are now their audiences, witnessing nothing but flashes of their cars’ taillights as they slalomed through these commoners at the speed of over 240 km/h. Both cars are not showing any signs of hesitations towards their acceleration, as if both of them are running with their lives on the line. The black Z33 is still a few meters ahead of the blue FD. But the driver inside the rotary machine isn’t giving up just yet.

“You won’t escape me, Kazuto…I’d make sure you’re out of commission and out of your racing business!” The FD driver said in her heart as she locks the black Z33’s image into her eyes with fire burning in it. The driver of the Z33 is none other than Kazuto Sato, a blacklisted street racer that is strongly associated with the Yakuza members, and he has been known for his history of committing many illegal trades from outside Japan, most of it involved in modifying his own Fairlady Z illegally.

Little does the FD driver realize; that Kazuto’s Z33 is actually equipped with a highly sophisticated ECU modification, direct port fuel injectors, and is even fully loaded with NOS, otherwise known as the nitrous oxide system. As Kazuto is seen secretly operating his computer inside the car to operate the pressure valves of the nitrous gas tanks. As the gas hisses inside the car, the pipes connected to the tanks will soon release a huge amount of nitrous oxide towards the intake system and allow the Z to burn even more oxygen for a short amount of time, releasing more power. Such modifications are indeed only applied to those who are willing to descend to the dirtiest of the dirty within racing world to get what they desire, simply put; he’s literally cheating with his car, and the FD driver is unaware of it.
Both cars continued to slalom through traffic cars effortlessly as they are now nearby the Hamazakibashi Branching of the C1 Inner loop. Both cars cleared through the corners by merely feathering their accelerator, but it seems that Kazuto is showing a lot more guts as he continued to press on his accelerator once he found his line again, whereas the FD is falling back a bit.

“Damn…” The female FD driver cursed herself as she realize that she’s hesitating, noticed that she’s now in a pinch situation where the black Z33 is leaving her slowly. Soon the FD continued to blast its way towards the Ginza area near the tunnel. Encountering the first S curve, the FD decelerates and braked at a precise timing, the driver steered the car at a certain range to keep the car’s tires while tackled the corner using the smallest steer range possible to preserve the tire wear, the same goes for the Z33, but it seems like the Z is drifting through the corners, and Kazuto did it effortlessly.

Once the second S-curve arrive, both cars reacted the same way and tackled the turns beautifully. Again, the Z33 seemed to be holding the ideal line edge, while the FD is showing small signs of understeer now. The front tires of the FD is slowly wearing away its grip, and it seems that’s the least of the problems yet. There appear to be some oil leaking from the bottom of the car…trails of black liquid can be seen as the car went through the tunnel in the C1. There’s also some thumb-tack dropping-like sounds inside the car, there seemed to be something wrong with the FD after all…

“What the…?! That sound…oh no!” the FD driver realized that something was fishy, she turned her eyes towards the gauges and was shocked to find out…her gauges are losing response. The needles that showed her RPM and KM/H range is dropping. From 7500 RPM, eventually dropped all its way to a stalling 3000 RPM, the same goes for her car’s speedometer, indicating her speed is now 160 KM/H, and dropping fast.

“Hahaha…this couldn’t get any easier…I don’t even need to waste so much energy on pressing this pretty red button on my steering…” Kazuto laughed, as he stared at the rear mirror and noticed that the FD is already far behind him. He decelerated a bit, but the FD couldn’t catch up at all…it’s coming to a dead stop…Kazuto realized that he doesn’t need to activate his NOS anymore as it feels like he’s already saw this coming from a mile…

“Shit…!! Dammit! Not like this!!” The FD driver shrieked angrily, she continued to step on her accelerator, but the car will not accelerate any further. The revving of the engine is also weakening, and soon the tachometer shows that her RPM range has dropped to 1500 RPM, and the speedometer shows an underwhelming 50 KM/H. The FD driver gave the acceleration pad one last push, and then it happened.

PAM!! Psshhh…!

The blue FD’s front hood popped open by itself and gush of white smokes started flowing out. The car came to a full stop and vibrated about before the engine shuts down completely. Dirts are flying everywhere around the front mirror.
At this point, it feels as if the FD driver’s flow of time came to a stop along with the car’s engine…

“…this, this is just impossible…!”

Soon after the race, the FD was towed away by a stolen tow car, driven by the Yakuza members, and it’s heading towards the circle of other Yakuza drivers guarding the leader there. The female driver has lost her car, along with her own racing career’s reputation as a street racer…including her own life of a driver. Lost completely to Kazuto Sato, the blacklisted street racer that drove that illegally modified Z33. Her car keys were taken from one of the members as they reached out and requested the key to be handed over as the deal of the race’s loss. The FD driver bit her lip hard, but a deal is a deal and she has to oblige it, especially against the Yakuza where they can go violent on a certain someone at anytime.

“Thanks for the ride…girl. You know, if you work just a little bit harder, you could’ve been the next rising thing on Shutoku Area. But it wouldn’t have mattered anyway…now that your only pride and joy is lost, you have nothing left…” Kazuto snickered, the members behind him were laughing at the loser of the race, but the FD driver cannot do anything, even though she’s literally fuming inside, clenching her fists tightly.

“I know you weren’t racer material…you don’t even deserve that RX-7…oh, but don’t worry…once I did a bit of remodeling on it, you’re gonna be proud of what it can do. But eh…you know, it’s just a shame that you…the original owner, would never, ever see that car anymore…she’s not gonna come home, cupcake…so beat it.” Kazuto continued his arrogant talk, as one of the Yakuza member handed the FD’s key over to him. The driver couldn’t help but felt as if there’s an invisible spear impaling her heart in pain watching the key handed over to Kazuto’s hands slowly.

“Your FD…she’s mine now, Hirano.” Kazuto smiled as he wiggled the key in front of her in a taunting manner. “…and I am gonna ride her, more so than you could ever hope of riding it…all hard and flat out in the Wangan…I hereby announce that this blue FD3S is now registered under the ownership name of Sato Kazuto, replacing the loser Hirano Tsubame! ” The Yakuza members all laughed after that at the embarrassing defeat of Tsubame Hirano. Tsubame couldn’t help but felt like a drop of tear is about to break from one of her eyes. For now, Tsubame couldn’t think of anything but hatred towards Kazuto…

“Kazuto-san, I just received a warning call from one of my boys…the cops are coming to check in here at anytime, we better run!” One of the Yakuza member said as the audiences all started to panic and run to their parked cars, followed by the other street racers associated with the Yakuza people. All of them are trying to make their escape before the public security forces managed to make their way to this spot.

“So the cops are here, eh? Heh…too bad for you, Hirano…” Kazuto laughed as he returned to his black Z33 and started the engine. The other racers that stick close to him also begun to drove off quickly, leaving all but Tsubame and Kazuto alone on the scene. The head of the Yakuza is long gone, along with the FD that was taken by the members.

“You won’t get away with this…I swear to you, Kazuto…!” Tsubame threatened Kazuto with her eyes all red…one of her eyes are already flowing with tears. “…you’re such a pathetic cheater…!!”

“…You’re in no position of making threats now, birdie…yeah, I cheated. So?” Kazuto made it sound like he doesn’t feel one tiny bit of remorse behind his shameless action over it. “I am the one who ordered the boys and girls there to tamper with your ride, AND I am the one whom modded my ride to the point where you can NEVER hope to defeat me…but WHAT are you gonna do about it now, Hirano Tsubame? WHAT will YOU do?” Kazuto snickered as Tsubame continued locking her eyes with rage towards Kazuto.

“Easy to sound cocky when you’re not even a racer anymore, kid…you should be grateful to me that you’re even standing here, knowing who I am.” As Kazuto turned his Z33 a 180 degree turn to the back, he sticks his head out and told Tsubame the last words before he started to make his escape:

“Hope you like taking a bus, chump! Bus stop’s THAT way…hahaha!!”

The black Z33’s engine roared as it blasted away instantly and is gone after leaving a trail of burnout smokes from the road, leaving all but Tsubame alone. As the sirens of the police cars are heard, she quickly pick a random coat left by some beggar left on the dark alley of the streets nearby and wore it to keep others from noticing that she’s a street racer. She hurriedly stuck her arms into the coat’s pockets and walked normally as the police cars made their way finally to her. She even kept her head down and pretended as if she’s just a normal pedestrian across the street here. She’s still furious inside her head while keep repeating the image of Kazuto laughing at her loss and holding her beloved FD’s car key, but for now she has to survive, or else there might be a chance that she wouldn’t even be able to save herself, let alone her own car.

As one of the police interceptor car arrived, Tsubame slowly turned her eyes to the car as it made its way towards her. Surprisingly it was a Honda NA1 NSX, coated with white and black paint, and equipped with hazard lights flashing the empty roads blue and red rapidly, as if it’s giving a warning towards all the people out there to stay out of their way. There were no police insignia whatsoever though, despite it being a cop’s car. Tsubame turned to the NSX as it slowed down and opened its mirrors, revealing two police officers driving it. They were dressed in their usual white uniform.

“Public Speed Enforcers, could you please answer a few questions for us, miss?” One of the officer asked, thankfully; he doesn’t seem suspicious of her, as the police officer showed no signs of being hostile or wanting to point a gun at someone. He sounded rather relaxed and calm. Tsubame believed that they now believed that she’s merely a pedestrian and not a racer.
“What’s the problem, officer?” Tsubame returned her question calmly, only being able to give a weak smile towards the officers as she brushed aside her brown hair to see their faces clearer.

“Do you happen to know of this man?” The officer took out a small computer and the monitor shows a green background, with profile photo shot of a familiar man. He has short black hair, and Yakuza tattoo over his arms, the man was none other than Kazuto Sato. And the screen stated that he’s a blacklisted street racer, with the rest of his other personal identity information shown.

There’s also an amount of bounty listed on him, and it stated he’s worth 15,000,000 yen upon capture, whether alive or dead for his long history of crimes committed, including drug trading, illegal parts dealing, murder, and even a few rape cases. “We’re tracking this man, he’s a wanted criminal around Japan and we have heard of word that he’s been street-racing here recently. Did you saw him by chance?”

Upon hearing this, Tsubame couldn’t help but smile upon the opportunity presented in front of her. Tsubame took the small computer and closed it while returned it to the officers inside the NSX. The rest of the police crew car followed from behind later on.

“You wish to track him down, officers? I think I can help.”

“I see…we hope you can talk to us more about it on HQ. Miss…”

“Hirano. Hirano Tsubame, sir. I’d cooperate.”

“All right, Miss Hirano. Please get in.”

Tsubame got into one of the police car as she seemed to have gotten the trust of the policemen enough to provide details needed to track down Kazuto Sato. The lights of Tokyo appear redder and more ominous as the midnight of Metropolitan Highway is resonating with what will appear to be an eerie calm before a storm is about to rise.

Feedback as a fellow writer:
The moment I saw the scene where dude approaches Tsubame and asks "How's your car running?" I had an instant hint of Most Wanted coming my way. Upon reaching the point where something happened and a spill under the FD throughout the race, I was right. But how you layered the descriptions and all was so stunning that I barely get to imagine the NFS Most Wanted Cast in Tokyo or the NFS crew for that matter.

I did like the good plot twist at the end to give it that original feel. Cooperating with the police... I can see where this is going, to a good extent. What Tsubame has in store for the Public Speed Enforcers & Kazuto is a very good cliffhanger which makes me anticipate Chapter 1.

As a reader:
MOTHER OF BUCK! SH*T JUST GOT REAL!
*cough*
To begin with, I can totally relate to the plot line; and I can feel the sense of Justice Tsubame has against Kazuto. Resorting to tricks just to be # 1 easier & come out as top 1, Kazuto's no different from the cheap players who ram, park, etc. In relation to MT, the point of playing MT is enjoying it with friends... it's not about saving more money because at the very beginning, we're SPENDING money already. We invest that spent money in having fun with friends. Now, if you go there and cheat like Kazuto... that's not playing... that's being an ass... a bully. Like Kazuto.

I can totally empathize with Tsubame on this point. And with that said, MOAR PLZ FOR THE LOVE OF JUSTICE RACING!

Thank you very much for the feedback, Gunma. I appreciate it. smile.gif

Well, I figure there's no better way to start Tsubame's rather harsh life as a police officer than to build some grudges for her since she's lost everything and has nothing left to replace her own life. Her joining as a police officer is more of a self-redeem solution since she realized that street racers can be such cruel people and she don't want to be like them.

The prelude is a flashback scene actually, so once Chapter 1 starts, you can figure out that all is about to change...and Tsubame is going to deliver some serious hammer of justice towards the Yakuza street racers. wink2.gif

Astounding prelude, Kuroi...now I can't wait to see what's gonna happen on Chapter 1.

I foresee there's going to be a lot of actions and explosions going everywhere. This is gonna be just as incredible as Ghost in the Shell...I can almost feel the tension that's going to build up on Chapter 1 when Tsubame made her debut as a police officer!

Well, here it is. We finally start things off with a blockbusting, action-packed Chapter 1.

Chapter One – Interceptor - 激しく追跡

Lights, blue, white, green, yellow and all sorts of colors are seen shimmering across the metropolis of Tokyo Area. It was a cold and clear night time and the clock shows 12:20 AM past midnight. Cars are seen travelling around the streets as always, busy with their own working routines, trucks, sedans and SUVs. Even then there are still a few buses crossing about. There seemed nothing much that happened other than normal pedestrians walking across the roads while the cars made their way outwards the crowded area. Everything seemed so peaceful, until the calmness of the Tokyo was shattered by a load roar of a rotary 13B turbo engine.

The car that dashed out of the darkness was a red Mazda RX-7 FD3S with claw vinyl. It also has a large GT-wing spoiler and a wide bodykit of the Re: Amemiya factory equipped on it. The driver inside was hardly visible due to the dark mirror tints. The FD also has a pair of tricked out aero mirrors and custom carbon roof scoops. The car is currently blasting its way through the roads at over 180 km/h, as if it’s trying to escape something.

And sure enough, it was. Numerous sirens can be heard from the distant rear of the FD as there are now 4 police cars chasing the FD from behind. The 4 police cars were all Subaru Impreza WRX STi hatchback versions, the GRBs, and they were all clad with police equipments and gears. The sirens were deafening; and the pedestrians were running in panic towards the side of the road in fear of being rammed by one of the machines here now. It’s a hot pursuit in progress towards the center roads of Tokyo…

“Police!! Pull over, now!” One of the police officer inside the GRB demanded through the speaker as they continued their pursuit towards the FD. The red FD was wobbling around as it was panicking, trying hard to avoid obstacles such as road signs and traffic cars. The FD nearly slammed its rear towards a Daihatsu when it initiates a drift towards a corner upon entering another route that connects to the Metropolitan Expressway of Tokyo.

“This is your final warning, driver! Stop the vehicle, NOW!” The police officer continued to warn the driver, but as expected, the FD driver refused to oblige and continued to accelerate further. The red FD finally found its way towards the C1 Outer loop and is making its way towards the Edobashi branching. As the FD made its way towards the sharp corner, the other GRB cop cars followed from behind. They all braked hard and tackled the sharp apex corner nicely, their cars were close to each other yet they don’t seem to crash at all. Their driving line was almost ideal to that of a racing line. The FD driver was shocked to find out that even after the sharp corner, the police Imprezas are still on to his tail.

“Dammit…who the bloody hell are these cops? I don’t remember cops can drive this good!” The FD driver thought out loud as he continued to press hard on the accelerator as if his life depended on it. Besides him lied 3 bags of cash money, and a small laptop that seemed to be on and it shows some important data being processed through the screen. “If I don’t pass this on time towards Sato-san, I am finished! I won’t have a place to live anymore!!”

The driver was being pushed to the edge, but he tried to keep his cool as he realized that if he panics any further, he’ll be in grave danger from being arrested by the cops that keep chasing him from behind. This is due to the fact that any ordinary driver will repeat mistakes if they panic, the same thing is happening towards the FD driver. But he was aware of the danger and tried to maintain his calm even if it may seemed hopeless.

Sooner, their pursuit continued on towards the Ginza southbound area, the GRB police cars realized that this area is going to be difficult to maneuver through unless the drivers are confident with their skills. The officer grabbed the radio and started communicating with the other members.

“This is STi 2, situation update; the suspect is making his way into the Ginza Southbound Area, requesting backup.” The request of assistance was given out as the drivers continued their duty to stay glued towards the red FD. After a few seconds of pause, there’s finally a response.

“This is Jesse. A roadblock unit is being deployed across the end of Ginza, break left after exiting the tunnel, don’t get caught under our own spike strip.” The radio responded. The GRB Imprezas started to slow down a bit, but they maintained a certain amount of speed so that they won’t lose sight of the FD. They were waiting for the FD to get hit on the roadblock that is later going to completely obstruct the road ahead the exit of the tunnel at the C1.

The FD driver realized that the Imprezas have slowed down, and so he decelerated a bit as well. “They’re slowing down? What gives…?! No, can’t really take the chance. I better lose them quick or I am dead!” The FD driver thought as he pressed his accelerator hard again and dashed out across the dividers. Slaloming through the traffic cars at a speed of 170 km/h, he slowly maintained his pace as he entered the first S curve.

The FD driver slammed the brakes as he steered hard to initiate a drift on his FD and tackled the curve away, hugging the inside of the road as he wasted no time trying to come out with more time to accelerate on the exit, but as he entered the tunnels once again, he soon realized that there are blue and red lights flashing rapidly on his front mirror. There’s no mistake about it, he’s about to run straight to a roadblock that was already prepared there. There are currently 3 Toyota Land Cruiser SUV police cars parked sideways at the exit of the tunnel and besides the 3 cars stand a moderately long mobile spike strip that has iron balls under the spikes, a police gear that is used to puncture the runner car’s tires. Any car that ran over one of these will most likely spin out of control and will no longer be able to act under any speed faster than 100 km/h.

“Oh SHIT!!!” The FD driver shrieked as he braked hard and tried to dodge the SUVs, but to no avail as he’s braking too late. The car didn’t stop quick enough and under panic, the driver steered away from the cars, not wanting to risk a crash, but instead his red FD is now running over the spike strip on the other side of the road.

The car let out a sharp deafening screech sound before it spins out of control; the FD is now turning a 360 degree donut spin as it came to a dead stop eventually. The GRB team behind finally caught up and surrounded the disabled FD. The tires on the FD were completely punctured and the rubber on the left front tire has been ripped apart completely by the spike strip. The driver opened the door quickly and jumped out of the car as he grabbed his handgun and shot the SUVs, eventually turned his attention to the GRB corps before they can pull over.

“Watch out, he’s shooting!” One of the police officers warned as they grabbed their guns and duck below their seats to avoid a vulnerable spot. After the few gunshots, the FD driver quickly ran away from the scene and abandoned his car while grabbing the bags and laptop together. “I can’t believe it…this guy’s still fighting back after coming all this way…” one of the SUV police officer thought as he grabbed his own semi automatic handgun and loaded it while pointing towards the FD driver.

Soon there appeared another engine sound from the back of the Ginza area. It was another rotary engine sound, and this was from a Mazda RX-8 SE3P. It was coated in black paint and has a phantom custom vinyl as well as underglow red neon. The driver inside gave an arm gesture to tell the FD driver to hurry up and get inside the car as they’re about to escape. The FD driver managed to get inside the RX-8 before the policemen ran towards the car and fired away towards the black car’s body. One of the GRB officer aimed towards the RX-8 after loaded a bullet and shot the car’s rear. The bullet hit the rear spoiler and it stayed there with a tiny red dot lighting up. The GRB officer smiled as they went back to the cars.

“Report, the suspect’s FD is now compromised but he’s still running under a different car, there appears to be a backup member waiting for him at the roadblock area.” The GRB reported as they continued their pursuit towards the runaway RX-8.

“Roger, we have the GPS system located of the mentioned RX-8 car, we’re displaying it on your updated radar.” One of the female operators replied and with another additional message. “Incoming message from Public Speed Enforcer Unit 4, there are going to be 2 NSX assigned units entering New Belt Line area to rendezvous with your unit, please remain cautious. Officer Hirano will also be assisting along, she’s currently on standby near the Rainbow Bridge.”

“Understood. We’ll maintain our pursuit until then.” The GRB police officer acknowledged and shut off the radio. “These guys must be defending something really important, if they’re willing to go through all these trouble and still refuse to give up.”

“Tedious as this job may be…we better make quick work of these suckers and go out for some nice sake later on, eh?” one of the SUV unit members chattered with a laidback voice as he chuckled a bit, the Land Cruisers were following close behind the GRB Imprezas.

“Yeah, that doesn’t sound too bad. Let’s finish this. If we couldn’t get rid of these guys, Officer Hirano will handle the rest.”

“Yeah, she’s been on a roll lately.” The SUV driver agreed, as all 7 cars continued their pursuit towards the RX-8 across the C1 area. Soon they are arriving the New Belt Line, and from that point they are going pass the Hamazakibashi branching. As they crossed the corner, they braked hard and tackled the turn nicely, the same goes for the RX-8.

“Oh shit…6 cars, no…7 cop cars are now on our ass, dude! Can’t you go faster?” The FD driver panicked as the RX-8 driver is also starting to sweat a little on his forehead.

“Shut up and chill man! I got this! We’ll make it towards the Wangan Line and from there if anything goes wrong, there will be an SLR waiting for us. So don’t worry!” The RX-8 driver assured as he checked on the FD driver’s cargo. All 3 bags and the laptop were in place. They realize that if they got caught up by the 7 cars behind, they will not stand a chance against them in a gunfight, so the RX-8 driver pressed on the accelerator even further, his gauges shows that the boost is at 2.0 bar and they are now speeding over 200 km/h. The GRB cop cars and Land Cruisers are slowly being left behind.

“Yeah! We’re losing them!” The FD driver cheered as he and the RX-8 drivers high-fived. They laughed as they maintained their pace towards the Rainbow Bridge. Soon, they heard a rather loud engine noise. “What the…is there someone else following us?” The FD driver asked.

“I am not sure…who in the hell could—“ Before the RX-8 driver can finish, he gasped in shock. As he viewed his rear mirror, he noticed there are now two other cars with siren sounds and police warning lights. Those two cars are Honda NA1 NSXs, and they are rolling fast towards the RX-8’s position.

“HOLY SHIT!! NSX COP CARS! YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!!” The FD driver shrieked in fear, not realizing that the two NSX cars are on to them the whole time. They’re now but a few mere meters away from overtaking the RX-8! The two men inside the SE3P are now under a huge pinch and they couldn’t do much about it.
“Dammit…dammit! SHIT! SHIT!!!” The FD driver continued to panic as he covered his own head under trauma. The siren sounds were loud enough to make his ears go bleed at anytime. “…dammit, is this it for us?!”

“Calm down! We haven’t lost yet!” The RX-8 driver snapped back. But the truth is; even he wasn’t confident anymore. They managed to lose 7 cop cars and now 2 extremely agile NSX police interceptors are drawing in to their RX-8 and they realize that it’s only a matter of time now before they got caught unless they do something.

“Public Speed Enforcers! Stop the vehicle, right now!! Pull over!!!” The police officer inside one of the NSX demanded loudly, his voice echoed through the roads leading towards the Rainbow Bridge later on. The other traffic cars panicked as they steered clear from their way towards the RX-8 and the two NSX following closely behind the rotary machine.

And then, finally; after the amount of pressure mounted on the FD driver’s head, he couldn’t take it anymore…

“ARRGGHHH!!” The FD driver snapped and he grabbed a Tommy gun that is lying behind the seats of the RX-8. He loaded up the bullets and released the safety before wanting to open the windows and start shooting one of the NSX interceptors. “I can’t take it anymore!! I am gonna kill these motherf**kers!”

“Whoa whoa whoa!! CHILL, KAZU! You wanna get killed out there?!” The RX-8 driver spat out in fear, fearing that Kazu, the FD driver may do something that cost both of them of their lives eventually. But Kazu is already lost it. He turned outside the window of the RX-8 and started aiming towards the NSXs.

“I don’t care…I don’t f**king care! I DON’T f**kING CARE ANYMORE!!! I WON’T GO TO JAIL!!! I WON’T GO TO JAIL!!”

“Wait, Kazu!! NO!”

Kazu yelled in panic as he started pulling the trigger on the Tommy gun and shoot like crazy towards the NSXs. The bullets smashed the windows of the left NSX as the right NSX pulled over to a safer side and the passenger started shooting after having its windows opened. Soon, the left NSX steered over to the other side but remained on its chasing state as a few bullets will not stop the police officers from apprehending the RX-8 driver and the passenger.

“Stop resisting, pull over immediately!!” The NSX police officer warned once again and started shooting the tires of the RX-8. After a few succession, the rear tires finally got damaged to the point where the rubber fell off completely as the high speed of the car ripped the torn tires on the rear.

“ARGHHH!!!” Both Kazu and the FD driver panicked as they lost control of the crippled SE3P. The car now swings from left to right and right to left, finally did a 360 degree spin and slammed its side towards a wall. The large GT-Wing got chipped off partially due to the impact knocked by the speed velocity was so strong that just a slight nudge on the wall did away with the car’s visual part. Their RX-8 is now out of commission…and they’re running out of options, except for…”it.”
As the RX-8 is now gushing out smokes on the hood after a heavy blow on the side, the airbags popped open on the steering and passenger seat as both of the people inside the car is now pinned backwards by it. They could hardly breathe, but they need to get out or it’s all over.

Both grunted as they were injured to the head, the RX-8 is also showing dents and broken parts where there are gas leaking out from the damaged internals, if anything flammable or even so little as a tiny spark is upon contact, it will surely ignite the gas and cause the RX-8 to explode. Kazu and the RX-8 driver hurriedly escaped from the RX-8 as soon enough, they realize that they have arrived at the Rainbow Bridge.

“Come on Kazu…we can still do this!” The RX-8 driver tried to hang on towards Kazu as he struggled to take the money and the laptop. One of the bags have already been trapped inside the RX-8 and the bended parts of the iron completely obstructed it beyond anyone’s reach, as that bag of money is now a lost cause. “The SLR is gonna be here anytime soon…!”

“It better bloody be, Jin…! DAMMIT!!! THE COPS! RUN!!” Kazu yelled as he took his own handgun and open fire a few more rounds towards the NSX coming to them.
Soon, after a moment of pause, a trail of fireball came charging towards the NSX’s position. The fireball hits the NSX’s roof and…

KA-BOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!

The NSX exploded into a brilliant fireball of orange and red, and eventually turned into smithereens. The police officers inside were dead, as they are seen burnt to a crisp, leaving nothing but their skulls dangling over the burning seats.

“WHAT THE HELL?!” The other NSX police officer grunted, but before he can react any faster, he stopped and tried to see if the driver of the NSX is still alive. But that wasn’t about to end with just an explosion…

As the exploded NSX was burning, the flames ignited the trail of oil slick that the RX-8 left when it smashed into the wall and caused a chain reaction.

BA-BOOOOOOM!!

The RX-8 burst into flames and is now trailing fire as well; both cars are now burning with such intense heat. The traffic cars panicked and drove quickly to avoid the carnage. Amongst the chaos, suddenly appears a jet-black Mercedes Benz SLK McLaren, an exotic sport car with a small sticker of a Japanese dragon on the left door. It charged its way towards Kazu and Jin.

The SLR reached them instantly and told both of them: “Get in…we’re leaving.”

Kazu and Jin realized that their lifesaver has arrived just in time, as they saw a large bazooka launcher inside the SLR Mclaren and it was trailing smoke on its end. Then they realized that it was the driver whom saved them from being caught. The SLK loaded the passengers and now it sprinted off as fast as lightning, leaving two cars and the cops being caught in the chaos. The NSX police officer shouted on his radio to request assistance, while the SLK continued its path across the Rainbow Bridge.

“Report! Report! We have casualties here, one of our NSX units are down and I confirm two dead officers; it seems like they have another backup coming to their aid. They’re armed with highly explosive weapons it seems. Someone just shot a bazooka missile at our unit!”

From afar the center of Rainbow Bridge, there stood an idling Ford Shelby GT 500 Mustang Interceptor, the warning lights weren’t on yet, but it seems like the car will be going full throttle anytime soon, as it’s idling is beautifully set on 900 rpm. Inside sat the driver alone. She has short brown hair, and brown eyes, her white uniform is seen under the dark, with her police officer badge reflecting its shine upon the lights. Her hands are on the steering wheel and there is a small microphone hanging on her left ear.

“…This is Officer Hirano, roger that. Any more details on the backup they have?” The woman responded as she glared at her rear mirror to see if there are any unusual movements from the traffic cars, which eventually shows there’s a small speck of light closing in at a very fast speed.

“Err…I think the suspect’s driving a black SLR McLaren. He’s heading towards your way now, Officer Hirano. We’d come sooner, for now we need to take care of the public mess that those guys have been causing up to this point.”

“Understood. I am going in for the kill now…” Tsubame declared as she waits closely for the car to charge right ahead of her idling Mustang. Once the SLK McLaren overtook her by a flash, she switches on the warning lights and stomped the accelerator and moved in the road. Her car’s engine roared so loud that even the SLR, which is now 100 meter away can hear the sound with its windows closed. The Mustang GT has engaged a perfect launch and Tsubame is closing in fast towards the SLR McLaren.

“All right…ass clowns, let’s see how well you do against someone your own size.” Tsubame smiled confidently as she’s beginning to close her gap to a 40 meter range behind the SLK.

“Shit…another cop car…!” The SLR McLaren’s driver growled in anger, but kept his cool. Kazu and Jin turned around and saw the Mustang GT chasing them at a very high speed.

“There’s only a one car…! What make is it?”

“Ford…that thing’s a Mustang. The Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 I think…and it seems like the car’s rolling under a shitload of power…! I am travelling almost 280 km/h here and the cop’s still closing in!”The SLR driver said, believed that the Mustang is now slipstreaming behind his SLR, as the Mustang’s movement remained stable even under such extreme speed.

“Who cares what that thing is, Raizou!” Kazu spat out the SLR’s driver name as he realized that he no longer has any bullets left on his handgun. “Just hurry up and lose the f**king cop! We came too far to fail here!”
“Easier said than done…this driver ain’t some wannabe! He’s good!” Raizou exclaimed, now realizing that the Mustang GT is already right behind the SLR. “Dammit, I can’t shake him off!”

“Public Speed Enforcer!! Pull over or I’d MAKE you pull over!!!” Tsubame shouted loudly on the speakers as she pressed a few buttons on her navigation computer. The screen shows that she’s loading data to launch an EMP weaponry system that was installed inside the Shelby GT500.

“A woman! Shit, a chick can drive this fast?!” Kazu exclaimed further in fear, as he took a sub-machine gun from the SLK’s rear seat and loaded it with a magazine of bullets “That damn cop, I am gonna fill that shit car of hers with lead along with her together!”

“Hurry up, I feel like that cop’s gonna do something bad if we stall any further!” Jin exclaimed. He was originally calm compared to Kazu whom flips out all the time, but under such critical situation even he couldn’t handle much of the pressure any longer. Kazu hurriedly loaded up the sub-machine gun before anything bad happens to them at anytime. But once he’s done loading the gun up, it’s already too late.

“Chew on this…S.O.Bs!” Tsubame pressed the engage button on the computer as it triggered a target lock mechanism of some sort through an optical laser that was equipped inside her Shelby GT500’s car. There seemed to be a tiny red laser pointer locking dead towards the SLR McLaren’s rear. Then the mechanism is starting to count down by itself. 3…2…1…

BZZZZZTTTTT!!! EEEEEEEEEEE---!!!

The Mustang Shelby GT500 released a massive wave of an electrical pulse of some sort, causing a rather deafening high pitch soundwave as the SLR McLaren’s internal car parts flashed in blue light. And the Benz begun to lose its speed rapidly. It was an EMP burst from Tsubame’s Shelby as she locked the SLR McLaren dead on and triggered a strong magnetic pulse wave that fried the computer systems of the SLR before hitting it with a system overload. The car’s acceleration system that was controlled by the computer is already fried and whacked, and the car can no longer move as it used to. The SLR is slowly losing its speed down to 140 km/h.

“What the bloody hell was THAT!? WHAT HAPPENED? What’s that sound? And why are we slowing down?!” Kazu screamed, he’s begun to panic and before he turned back to try and shoot the Shelby GT 500, the latter took its golden chance.

“Bingo, suckers.” Tsubame accelerated hard on and rammed her Mustang GT’s reinforced front bumper to give a direct hit towards the crippled SLR, the rear bumper of the Benz is already chipped halfway off dangling as the impact was so strong that even the mufflers are badly damaged by the impact and it’s starting to trail black smokes.

“Report. This is Officer Hirano, suspect’s sustained heavy damage. This thing is almost over. I am moving in for the bust, over.” Tsubame reported as she pressed on her attack towards the SLR. As Kazu stuck his body halfway out of the window, Tsubame saw that he’s got a sub-machine gun armed and ready to go finally.
“Die, you cocksucker!!” Kazu pulled the trigger and fired away. Bullets are hitting everywhere except Tsubame’s Shelby due to Kazu panicking and couldn’t get an accurate shot, and the smokes are also obstructing his view so he couldn’t see quite well either. Tsubame took the chance and pull over to another side where the driver is busy driving and should be much safer. And as expected, there aren’t any arms coming out from the windows on that other part.

Tsubame took the chance and accelerated far beyond the speed of SLR McLaren, which is now travelling at a rather underwhelming 80 km/h now. Her Shelby GT500 overtook the SLR finally and when she saw the suspects inside the car, she clicked open the passenger windows to open automatically and she took out her already-loaded up .44 Magnum revolver and point it directly at the window of the Benz. And without a warning…

PANG!! PANG!! PANG!!

Tsubame pulled three accurate gunshots from her revolver. The first bullet hits the glass and pierced Kazu’s body, the second bullet shattered the glass entirely and hits the driver Raizou, and finally…the third shot fatally wounded Kazu further on the gut as he’s now lying motionless, leaving a frozen shock face as he breathed his last, while holding the money stash with a weakened grip.
“This ends now, punks!” Tsubame exclaimed with such anger as she steered her Ford as hard as she could towards the SLR McLaren and the car slammed its front bumper towards the SLR’s door, forcing it to steer outside the road and…

KRRAAAANNNNGGG!!!

The SLR was pinned towards the wall at an immense impact and the car was literally forced to grind all its way towards the other side of the wall, leaving a huge trail of scars on the wall until the car came to a complete stop. The front of the SLR McLaren is now completely bent and crooked, thanks to the Shelby’s tank-like front bumper. The Shelby on the other hand sustained all but some minor damages on the car’s body, but nothing too severe. The SLR is already gushing out smokes on the hood, indicating there’s a possible engine failure due to excessive damage.

This long hot pursuit is finally over…

“Busted…” Tsubame smiled in relief as she stopped her vehicle and stepped out of the car quickly. She pointed her revolver towards the badly damaged car as she examined the inside of the car and see if the suspects are still inside trying to resist, and she later lowered her gun, knowing that they’re already exhausted of their energy and options to fight back. She then closes in towards the wreckage and yanked the two surviving suspects of the chase out of the car.

“You boys sure give us a hard time tracking you down.” Tsubame said coldly as she takes out her taser from her pocket and electrocutes Raizou through the gut. Raizou, now all bloody and tired, finally got unconscious. And deep inside the car, Jin was trying to move, but his body was already badly twisted by the ramming. He took a direct hit from the Shelby during that last blow. Tsubame however could’ve care less of what happens to them…knowing that they have already killed 2 of the police officers, nobody would care if these men are dead.

“Report, suspects’ vehicle is compromised. This pursuit’s over. I have confirmation of one suspect being neutralized due to heavy damage during the pursuit, but we have found the evidences needed to charge the Yakuza of their illegal operations. Evidences include a laptop containing important information, and two bags of cash money, matching the descriptions of the briefing of this operation. We lost one bag, but that seemed to be a lost cause, the suspects here weren’t carrying any bags more than 2 currently. There’s also a bazooka launcher, and a sub-machine gun with some ammunition supplies inside the SLR McLaren.” Tsubame finished her report as a speedy helicopter just flew over her and flashed the searchlights to the wreckage of the SLR and her Shelby together. Tsubame gazed her eyes to the chopper and broke a slight smile on her face.

“Roger, Officer Hirano, good work. Bring in the surviving two suspects to the HQ for processing. We need to dig as much intelligence connecting to the Yakuza organization as we could from these guys. We’ll now send in the rescue team to assist any injured civilians or units that are involved in this chaotic chase. Mission Accomplished.” The HQ responded, giving one final order to Tsubame before wrapping things up.

“Roger, HQ. Leave them to me…sorry that I couldn’t help the NSX unit…” Tsubame apologized as she turned back to the Rainbow Bridge with a slightly disappointed look.

“Don’t be…their deaths weren’t your fault…the ones that who are responsible for their deaths are the Yakuza who’s been causing nothing but trouble in our city. It’s up to you now to stop these people from running amok, Officer Hirano. I wish you the best of luck on your next mission.” The HQ replied as even the higher top brasses realize that they can never do anything perfectly and Tsubame is clearly not to be blamed for that sudden attack.

“Thank you, sir…Officer Hirano, out.” Tsubame shuts off her communicator and took out two double locks and tied up the remaining suspects that is Raizou and Jin. Soon, the GRB Imprezas finally made it together with the NSX car and the rest of the SUV crews. They pull over their cars, stepped out of it and dragged the two suspects into one of the SUV Land Cruiser.

“Nice work, Hirano…I knew you’d be able to wrap things up nicely.” The GRB Unit leader said. He was a chubby man with a short crew haircut, but his smile made him all the more friendly looking. “These suckers didn’t give you much of a trouble, did they?”

“Well, all in a day’s work. They start trouble, waste some gas and we waste them. Simple as that. I just hope that these guys may be able to give us the lead towards the head of the Yakuzas and Kazuto. Those guys have been rolling under their cover of their authority on the darker part of the society for far too long.” Tsubame explained as she wiped her sweat off her forehead. She can hardly smile, but she did anyway, still feeling sorry for not being able to help the dead unit members. “I just hope that the civilians here won’t be too caught up by what happened tonight. This chase is too much, even though it’s not unusual for these guys to carry backup plans…”

“Well, we’ll dig in to the info we got from the evidence you found, officer. Don’t worry too much about it.” The GRB leader smiled and gave a pat to Tsubame’s shoulders. “Keep up the good work. We’ll take it from here, alright? Now go rest up. You still got some negotiations to do later on with those two kids that banged up our rides. Make sure you give them a piece of your mind while you’re at it, eh? You got a long history with these guys before you were a cop, no?”

“Yeah…thanks.” Tsubame smiled in relief as she walked back to her Shelby GT500 and drove her way towards the Shutoku Area. The car dashed off at a normal pace, but the roar of the engine is loud enough to echoe throughout the highway of the midnight time at Tokyo area, followed by its deafening siren sounds…
Meanwhile, somewhere at a dark in the outskirts of Tokyo City, there stood a black Nissan Fairlady Z33. The driver inside wasn’t visible due to the dark window tints. He is seen holding a phone and talking inside.

“Hello…yeah…I just got it…you what?!” The familiar voice yelled, clearly he wasn’t pleased with something.

“Dammit! Those pricks can’t even outrun some stupid cops?! That’s it…! We’re moving on to the next phase. We may lost the package, but we can still move on without it. You make sure you people deliver the other package to me on time and don’t you dare repeat the same mistake those guys did, okay? NONE of you are gonna get away from this! Don’t let cops catch you or else I have NO USE for you people! Now GET GOING, DAMMIT!” The man angrily shuts off the phone and tossed it to the passenger seat of the Z and drove away. As he drove at a moderately dangerous speed at the rather small and narrow road, he growled angrily at the failure of his men.

“Stupid PSE…they’d pay for crashing my cars!! Just wait and see…This city’s mine and I won’t let some stupid cops mess with my business turf!”

One word on the SLR McLaren: EMPwned!!! laugh.gif

The amount of action here is almost like a classical blockbuster movie...you really nail the action scenes beautifully on this one.

And Tsubame's return using the Shelby GT500 Mustang couldn't get any sweeter, outrunning an SLR McLaren so effortlessly and destroying it at the end of the Rainbow Bridge after a long-dragged pursuit.

And Tsubame seemed to be a very good shot with her .44 Magnum too. O.o

3 shots and all managed to hit something critical...

Can't wait to see what will happen on chapter 2 when the negotiation starts. Keep up the good work, Kuroi. Tsubame's revenge has finally started from here on!

and regarding the word Bazooka, never use that word.To me,it sounded too childish.Don't get me wrong, your story is rock solid but these little and seemed insignificant part of the story is making me go "NO!!WHAT ARE YOU DOING??"..
There you have it,you might want to use acronym 'RPG' or Rocket Propelled Grenade..

and just like i said above, this story is rock solid and will follow how it will turned out.
In the meanwhile, specifying some part of the story never hurts.^^

Definitely the Smith & Wesson Model 29. smile.gif

And thanks for telling me on that part. I will keep it on mind from now on. It's definitely a bliss to have experts on guns to guide me whenever I am planning gunfights. smile.gif

And thanks for following too. I am glad there are more readers out there that appreciate my works. happy.gif

In a meanwhile, Benevolence, I'd love a list of arsenal recommendations for the Yakuza. They're literally filthy rich bastards that made a lot of deals and drug trades with the Russians to bet many guns and weapons on their disposal (ranging from handguns, revolvers, shotguns, machine guns, SMGs, RPGs, and even miniguns or other light armed vehicles.)

I'd appreciate ANY recommendations and do make them detailed or distinguished as possible so I can work my best not to confuse any gun junkies out there when the gun fight scene plays. smile.gif

Thanks.

Never been to a live chat of WME before...but I'd try. smile.gif

Thanks for the list of guns too. It's a great help for future scenes...most especially for Chapter 3.

Chapter 2 – Hardship - 腐敗不幸

The clock shows the time is 11:30 A.M. in the headquarters of the Public Speed Enforcers. It was almost afternoon, but the weather shows that it seemed to be a rather cold stormy evening.

“Answer me, Jin!!”

Tsubame landed a direct punch towards the RX-8’s driver’s face, throwing him off the chair. He’s now coughing blood. Jin’s face was barely conscious, but his arrogant smile remained there.

“I told you…you ain’t gonna get shit from me…” Jin replied, still trying to struggle his way back up. He was completely bruised everywhere inside a dark room with all but a light revealing himself and Tsubame. They were inside a negotiation room and it was shut tight by a computer programmed lock. Back in the room, Tsubame grabbed Jin by his dirty shirt and yanked him entirely near her face.

“Oh you think I won’t kill you…! You think I won’t, do you?! Guess I didn’t hit you hard enough back in the SLR, did I?” Tsubame retaliated angrily, and she sends Jin flying back with a hard front kick. “What is your purpose? Why are you robbing these cash off another branch of your own men and what is your goal?! ANSWER!!” Jin’s body was sent rolling backwards all the way towards the corner of the small room, but it seems like he still got some energy left to pick himself up from the nasty kick.

“You already know all of those shits, didn’t you? You got our laptop, and you managed to snag our money…you really still haven’t got a slightest bit of idea that this is all merely a setup to assist the original plan?” Jin said, his body is shaking as he struggled to stand to his feet once again.

“Original plan? What are you babbling about?! Explain yourself!” Tsubame responded with anger once more. She only approached near the weakened man, but she will definitely land more kicks and punches to him, depending on his next response…

“Heh…fine then…I know when it’s time to really give up being stubborn.” Jin’s face shot a smile of exhaustion as his forehead is now filled with sweats and blood. He slowly sit back onto the chair and hold his gut, writhing in pain deep inside as he was indeed badly hurt there. The injuries added up from the hot pursuit incident and together with Tsubame hitting him everywhere is literally chipping off his life slowly as time ticks on. Tsubame kept her calm and walk towards the opposite of the small table and sit down on the chair placed there.

“Speak, then…tell me what you know.” Tsubame coldly replied, waiting for an explanation from Jin. Her eyes are locked dead towards him just to make sure that if he’s going to pull any sudden moves. There is a CCTV surveillance camera built on the ceiling of the room, so everything will be monitored by the officials taking charge of this negotiation together with Tsubame. Jin slowly clears his throat and started talking.

“Our boss, Sato Kazuto has ordered us to deliver the money for weapons trade with a Russian weapon development organization that has been under the association with the Yakuza. That laptop, as you cops might have already figured out; contains the technology intelligence needed for more advanced weapon development in the future. It’s a hell of a deal for the Russians since we will be making a lot of weapons at our disposal for the organization. But now that we’re busted…we lost the laptop, and we lost the money together…we’re useless to him now.” Jin calmly explained, as he realized that his life’s end is only a matter of when, and it will be short. He realized that he has nowhere to go, and even if he managed to escape, he will never be able to return to the Yakuza’s side due to his failure.

“Heavy weaponry deals? What about other activities? Are you guys trying to accomplish something through all those street races?” Tsubame questioned once more.

“Our objective is simple…we, the Yakuza wished not only to claim the entire Japan as our territory, but we also wanted to be dubbed as the fastest speed demons in this country, and soon the entire Asia, and then outside asia, eventually the whole world. We have a lot of money at our disposal and you can be sure as hell we will not be stopped.” Jin smiled, despite he’s still writhing in pain. “Just because you managed to destroy 3 out of our thousands of cars is not going to stop us…and you know it.”

“Don’t tempt me to do more…Jin, I already crushed that SLR. That car is not even worth being shown outside the public anymore. And don’t think you can go anywhere…I have found more than enough charges to make you disappear from this world and you can be damn well sure I will do it. And that little friend of yours isn’t going to go anywhere either. Both of you are going to be judged guilty for jeopardizing with the safety of the public roads and you’ll be sitting in jail for a long time thanks to you killing off two of our guys here. You two got some balls…I’d give you that.” Tsubame managed to smile, despite the fact that her patience is losing bit by bit. She has almost little to no tolerance when it comes to suspects trying to talk their way out of her by threatening what their group is going to do.

“Then hurry up…because soon you may no longer have the chance to do it…” Jin replied as he closed his eyes and leaned back. “I have told you everything there is to know…now that if you’d excuse me…I want to take a nap before I got taken to the court.” Hearing the last line, Tsubame isn’t quite pleased with Jin’s attitude, but she has done her part for now. And thus, she simply replied:

“There’s a room waiting for you later on…my men till take you there.” Tsubame stood from her chair and disengaged the lock after hitting a serial of numbers on the password lock of the door. As soon as the door opened automatically on sideways, there are already two men standing in front of her ready to act. They wore black uniforms and have a security band wrapped on their left arm.

“Take him.” Tsubame ordered, and both men obeyed as they dragged the wounded Jin back to another path towards the hallway while Tsubame herself walked on the other path that leads to the main office. She lets out a heavy sigh and felt that she managed to complete the interrogation role at least, despite the fact that it’s not going too well. She felt like she’s still missing something from the interrogation.
As soon as she walked towards the main office, she walked towards her desk and found that her computer’s got an incoming message from the HQ. She put aside her .44 magnum revolver and pressed the “read” button on the touch screen monitor. The message shows a mildly long text written by the HQ top brasses:

Officer Hirano Tsubame,

You are ordered to the briefing room for an important operation. You will be armed with the latest equipments of weaponry available and you will be assisted by a great number of other team units.

Other members including Jesse, Dominic, and Commander Minaka will also accompany you.

You are to make preparations within 45 minutes approximately. Do not forget your ID card and passwords for access towards the arsenal.

Public Speed Enforcers HQ

After watching the message, Tsubame just let out another sigh and closed the message. She took a seat and made herself a quick cup of water before drinking it up. She then grab hold of a few papers on the side of her own desk and check on the pictures of the evidence she found during the hot pursuit event last night. As she checked once more on the red-circled pictures of the bags containing the cash and the laptop, there appears a figure behind her. He was a tall and strong man with a muscular build, and on his badge, he has a steel-nametag that reads “Dominic”.

“What’s up, Hirano?” Dominic greeted her with a deep voice and a pat on her shoulder. “Having a hard time getting ready for the next assignment?”

“Not really…I just find myself half-assing on the interrogation just now.” Tsubame smiled with her eyes rolled, she could hardly see her own member straight to the eyes for her own doubt of what she did back on the interrogation room. “I feel like I am missing something out that time.”

“I saw the whole thing…at least you squeezed something out of him.” Dominic replied. “The other guy had it better though, but let’s just say that the guys handling him isn’t as rough as you are.”

“You mean Raizou?” Tsubame tried to confirm. Raizou was the man driving the SLR McLaren that Tsubame managed to thrash during the pursuit. Little was known about him except that he was someone that holds a fairly significant role in the drug-dealing business with the Yakuza organization. “Well, the next time we had another interrogation, he won’t be so comfortable anymore, rest assured.”

“Just remember that you don’t need to go too rough on the guy. It won't be worth it if you kill them without getting anything to lead to those that mattered.” Dominic warned with his usual low and calm voice. “Besides, these guys are the Yakuzas that weren’t listed with a bounty, so even if you kill them, you won’t get anything.”

“Except for the satisfaction of doing away another scum off this country.” Tsubame responded with a sarcastic chuckle. “I don’t need to care about these guys…but now that the freaking boss Kazuto is sitting nice and comfort with his bounty raised all the way to 200 million yen thanks to his recent crime activity of drug-dealing over the couple of months…it’s only a matter of time whether he’d be untouchable to the normal cops, or he’d be out of Japan and set to life with the huge ass of loot dumped by the clients of drug that he’s been making business with all the time…”
“I know…you want to kill this guy’s ass before he’s gone with your FD together, right?” Dominic said as he sat on to another chair nearby the other desk. “I know how hard it feels, to race for slips…and lost because the other guy just can’t learn to play fair with you…and had to mess with your ride to get a cheap win for it…”
“You used to be a fan of rotaries too, aren’t you, Dominic?” Tsubame asked again. “The last time you got your RX-8 stolen by a bunch of sneaky goons of another criminal on payroll, you’re willing to kill off countless men just to get the ride back.”
“Yeah…that was long ago. Now the car’s just sitting nice and comfy inside my garage. No way I am gotta drive that thing again till this whole mess with Kazuto is through. Can’t take another chance of getting my ride tampered with anymore. So…I know how that feels.” Dominic smiled, he took a few piece of paper off the other desk and started to walk away from the office. “You still got 40 minutes before the next mission. Better finish off whatever you’re doing before the HQ expect everyone to be at the briefing room.”

“I got it.” Tsubame replied. She wasn’t too happy either with how things turned out, but she has to endure for now. Before the next mission arrives, she took her pen and hurriedly work on the rest of her other paperwork and documents that needed to be reviewed by her before handing over to the higher ups of the HQ. She thought to herself as she worked on the papers. “Today ought to be another exhausting day…I can feel it.”

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Meanwhile, at the Yokohama Harbor, somewhere near the parking area connecting towards the open area where cargo ships were docked, there appear a few exotic looking sports cars, and one luxurious limousine. There were also a few people standing there on the spot, with a few huge crates and briefcases. Amongst these people, there is one gigantic figure standing behind someone whom appears to be guarded by two more figures that act like a bodyguard of some sort.

“Sato-dono, here are the money, and this is the memory stick containing the data you want. The boys in Russia seemed pretty happy with your efforts.” One of the bodyguard said as he handed two briefcases, inside filled with stacks of US dollar papers. And once Kazuto grab hold of the briefcases, examined them and hand them over to the giant standing behind him, the man reached to his pocket and took out a memory stick of 32GB and hand it over to Kazuto’s hands.

“Nice doing business with you, boys.” Kazuto smiled happily, as he walked towards two Russian-looking individuals with their furry coats on, and shook hands with them. “And I’d like you all to know that the weapons you brought to us are always the best. I’d definitely like to get more of those toys you make. Keep them coming, eh? And I’d keep handing these babies to your storage.” He handed a huge briefcase, inside containing a large amount of packed cocaine. “Make sure you sell them all…!”

“That wouldn’t be a problem…and you have fun with those now…they’re not cheap when they made it all the way to your soil.” the Russian dealer said before they turned around and went to the limousine car, accompanied by a few bodyguards along. As soon as the doors are closed, the driver started the engine the drove off the harbor eventually.

“Soon…I am going to have everything…with these weapons.” Kazuto smiled happily as he turned his attention towards the few large crates standing there on the side of the parking area. They were all marked by red paint stating “Flammable”.
“Hehehe…” The giant laughed as he grabbed the one large crate towards Kazuto, took a crowbar and ripped the crate open. Inside there are lots of ammunitions. From bullets, to shotgun rounds to submachine gun magazines, and finally to armor-piercing bullets that are loaded on miniguns. There are even a handful of grenades and and rocket launchers. “These are some fun toys you bought for us, sir!”

“Careful with them, Yagi.” Kazuto replied calmly. “These weapons are hard to get, so don’t break them too quickly.”

“What about Raizou and the other two, sir?” One bodyguard asked.

“Forget about Jin and Kazu, as far as I am concerned. They’re both f**king dead.” Kazuto turned around and hold a cigar on his mouth before he light it up. “Raizou is still useful. I’ve sent a team to go and bail him out once he managed to break free from the headquarters of the PSE. We’ve lost too many great racers thanks to them. I don’t plan to use any more money to hire potential drivers.”

“Raizou is indeed a good driver, the cops managed to catch up this far…someone’s been doing the killing for too long.” The bodyguard replied. “You think there’s someone there who’s capable of driving this good?”

“Maybe…but it wouldn’t mattered even if I know anyway, I’d just have to make sure I got enough drivers and cars to make them disappear for good.” Kazuto responded confidently, as he stares at the stormy clouds. “This country’s already mine…and I won’t let some do-gooder police wannabe enforcer trying to stop me from doing my business around the world.”

“You tell him, Sato-san.” A woman said, leaning besides her car, a red Nissan Skyline BNR34 with custom GT-Wings and a rose vinyl on each door of the car. The woman has dyed blonde wavy hair and brown eyes. She’s seen smoking tobacco as she brushed her hair off to the side as the wind blew by. “Just want to know, are there any women drivers there on the PSE that’s been giving you trouble?”
“Why would you want to know, Nikko?” Kazuto asked, he’s seen smiling from behind. “I thought you said not even the guys out there meant shit to you.”

“Not all guys, my dear…I prefer to race against a woman that can rival to my level.” Nikko smiled back. “There’s been too many useless men talking around this place and I feel disgusted that they don’t even worth anything of my precious time at all. Huh…but then again, even if there are police girls there, it wouldn’t make a difference anyway. I’d send those cops packing and crying, just like how I’ve always been doing against men who are too stupid to try and hit on me.”

“You go and enjoy yourself then, Nikko.” Kazuto said as he walked towards the black 350Z, his own car. “Come on, everyone…we’re moving out. Yagi, you stay and guide these boys. If the cops show up, you know what to do with those.” Kazuto pointed the other 2 crates over the corner as he started the engine and drove away from the harbor, followed by the red R34 and a few more other cars, most of them are Japanese sports cars like Supra RZs and RX-7 FD3S.

As the red Skyline followed up close to Kazuto’s R34, Kazuto is seen driving with his eyes focused. His laid back expression turned into a serious one. “Just wait and see, PSE punks…you won’t be so lucky this time…this here is for all the racers that you stinking cops killed on my payroll!”

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Back at the PSE headquarters, inside the briefing room, the smell of gunpowder can be felt anywhere as the enforcers sat on their own desks and watched as the HQ top brasses walked and the front and started the projection that viewed their mission’s briefing. There appears a man in a suit walking out from a door inside the briefing room; he is an elderly man, nearly bald with a bit of white hair behind. His expression is calm and serious to that of an old politician.

“Morning, Chief Wanijima.” Tsubame, whom sat on the front desk greeted as she stood up and saluted.

“Good morning, Officer Hirano. Please be seated, as we will now start the briefing of your next mission.” Chief Wanijima Naze spoke calmly as a man gave him a laser pointer for him to point at certain things shown at the large screen. But before he starts speaking, another chubby man appeared, and he is wearing a badge of a chief too, but he seemed to be from another branch of the police department as he carries a different insignia compared to that of the PSE.

“Thank you, Chief Wanijima…now allow me to introduce myself, people.” The fat chief said before he took over the center place for the briefing. “My name is Ishikawa Maru, and I am the chief of the Kanagawa Prefecture Speed Enforcer Units, associated with the PSE. Today’s operation is simple, you are to search and destroy as many targets as possible. Allow me to brief you with the situation first.” The chief then insert a stick drive towards a computer and scanned it for reading. The projection eventually shows the additional data consisting of the Harbor area.
“Gentlemen, this is it.” The chubby man said. “Our spies have just reported that there are suspicious activities brewing around the Yokohama Harbor Area. Intelligences from our spy team told us there’s been a number of street racing cars spotted at the parking lot, along with a few suspicious-looking trucks that has been carrying a lot of unknown cargo. We believed that they may be a large amount of drugs or money stashes that is used for drug business, but there may also be possibility that these men are carrying dangerous arms to support their cause of whatever they’re trying to get.” Before Chief Maru continued, Chief Naze took a step forward and continued his briefing part, as if he knows when it’s the time he speak. The chubby chief stepped aside and let the elder continued.

“As Chief Ishikawa mentioned before, some of the spies of his division has scouted activity of possible drug-dealing on the harbor with high possibilities of street racers involved. Our own spy team also found extra evidences behind their activity as they are clearly Yakuza members, doing business with a group of individuals whom we believed to be…” Chief Naze paused for a moment as the projection camera of the data brief zooms in on the harbor footage of a hidden camera recorded by a spy on top of a high area, revealing a group of people doing trades and the individuals shaking hands once they made their deal. The zooming extended further to the two men that shook hands with the other man, and they were wearing furry coats. Their faces were barely visible due to the blurry resolution.

“…wanted individuals that originated from Russia, people whom are charged for global drug dealings…we have yet to know their names, but rest assured, they have stepped into our territory…and we have the responsibilities of apprehending and taking down any men associated with the dangerous organization of the Yakuza…these two men will be your main target, other than the individuals listed here.” The camera then zooms out and the cursors marked the other few individuals. One of their faces was clearly recognized by Tsubame instantly...

“Kazuto…” Tsubame thought inside, her eyes are beaming with hidden anger towards his profile picture. She crossed her arms and remained focused on the briefing. She also notices there are other familiar names of street racers that she once raced before, and some that she has yet to meet, including the hulking man, Yagi. “So, Chief…what else do you think of they may be hiding there other than the drugs?”

“Here’s what we think, Officer Hirano.” Chief Naze snaps a finger as the projection switches towards the crates nearby the parking lot. “We believe that they may also be trading weaponries towards the men on Yakuza for selling their drugs other than money. From the angle here we can see that they have been trading a lot of heavy fire-powered weapons from the Russian arms development. The suspects inside there opening these cargos have all gave visual confirmation of the supplies inside these crates and they’re all loaded with guns, ammunitions and grenades.”

“Wow…” A man exclaimed, he was a slightly tall man with a fine build. He has black hair and wears a commander insignia on his left arm. “Are these guys going to war or something...? This seemed more than just a regular drug deal here.” The man was Commander Minaka Satoshi, the commander of the Public Speed Enforcer, whom originally lead the pursuit team. However, strangely enough, Tsubame is the only member that he didn’t give orders to, as Satoshi seemed to have no problems with Tsubame’s independent solo action throughout her missions.

“...I see some P90s, Auto Converted HK-94s, Micro-Uzis, AKS-74Us, H&K MP7s, I saw some RPG-7s, a ton of P99 handguns, a couple of Glock 17s, some Baretta 92Fs, there are also a bunch of M67 hand grenades...I also saw a bunch of AK47s and Remington 870s…sounds like a whole lot of sick vaginal activity to me. The Yakuza really is pulling out all the stops on us.” A fairly well built man said, he has short blonde hair and appears to be an American of some sort with sharp-looking yellow eyes. He was Jesse Davenport, an officer that was responsible for the Tracking Team, which’s primary duty is to track down targets. He was also responsible for tracking down the three suspects that was on the hot pursuit last night in the C1 area.

“Good observation, Officer Davenport.” Chief Naze complimented. “Like what you saw, this time we’re going to put a stop to their activity of claiming business territory over the Yokohama Harbor. But as you see, the Yakuza members are now heavily armed, we’re now going to supply you with a great amount of weapons to even the scales. Your primary objective is to secure the Yokohama Harbor area and eliminate all hostile threats and literally obtain as many information there is which will lead us to Sato Kazuto’s next destination and what else is he planning.”
“So what will we be using, Chief?” Dominic asked. “The Yakuza seemed to be crazy enough to arm themselves with enough ammunition to blow off the entire harbor if they want to.”

“You’d find out soon enough, Officer Dominic. Commander Minaka, as usual, you’d be guiding your own team on Arsenal No.2 for prepations. Officer Hirano, you’d take your team and move for Arsenal No.1 The weapons are all in there.” Chief Naze answered as he ordered his men. “For now, that is all. You have your orders. Dismissed.”

“Yes, sir!!!” The whole room echoed with the loud response as the men stood up and saluted the chiefs in the briefing room before they walked out of the two doors once the briefing ended.

“Okay boys, let’s do this!” Tsubame commanded, as she stood up and left the briefing room, followed by other members behind her, accompanied by Dominic and Jesse from her side. She grabbed her Smith & Wesson Model 29 .44 Magnum revolver, loaded it with 6 bullets and spun the cylinder before putting it back to the holster tied on her blue leather belt along with her whip and taser. They marched on as Commander Satoshi took another path towards the room labeled “Arsenal No.2”, while Tsubame’s team goes to “Arsenal No.1” room.

“Man…” Jesse stuttered a bit as he tried to follow up close to Tsubame. She was marching her way towards the hall at a rather fast pace. “I can’t remember the last time we’re going all out like a freakin’ military force…this is insane, man…”
“Stop complaining, Jesse…you’re not scared, are you?” Dominic interrupted. “These guys have pounded an ass full of loot on those Russian guys and it’s only fair game that they give those gems towards scums like them. I knew this would’ve turned out like this as they must’ve made a hell of a deal…based on Raizou’s interrogation.”

“Well of course…I ain’t scared...but I’d tell you, man…” Jesse said as he turned his eyes to Dominic as they continued towards the pathway to the arsenal room. “…the next time that asshole Kazuto pull this kind of business shit again in front of our spies, that’s gonna be on our ass in the HQ for sure. We can’t remain territory here forever, seeing as how things turn out for the Yakuza as days go on with their activity.”

“Then we’d just have to make sure they don’t.” Tsubame replied as she finally reached the large door in front of them. “The Chief has given us the order to eliminate these cocksuckers. And we’d get it done! These people have been rolling out for over 5 f**king years and if this drags on any longer, the top brasses on the HQ are gonna complain for days.”

“Exactly…if we’re gonna survive; we must not take any prisoners unless they’re really necessary. These people are all dangerous individuals. Let one of them live, and they’d squeeze the life out of you on the next day before you even know it.” Dominic added. “We’re now in the darker side of the world of law enforcement. We take matters in our own hands against f**kers like them, and the government won’t be able charge us for anything wrong. So don’t compromise, Jesse…it’s gonna someday get you killed if you’re too kind to shits like them.”

“Yeah, I know…I never complain on my missions, just so you know…and what I am doing now is not complaining.” Jesse responded in defense as he shows the optical laser scanner his own ID card. The red light eventually turned green after a confirmation beep sound is made on the scanner, followed by Dominic and finally Tsubame. “I just wish that we can hurry up and finish these motherf**kers so I can go home and rest up. I’ve been up for over 28 god damn hours just to get things sorted out before our next lead to the Yakuza, man…it’s f**king exhausting.”

“Try and endure a bit more, Jesse. Once this is all over, I’d try and help you file a day off so you can have your well-deserved rest, okay?” Tsubame smiled as the large door unlocks itself and opened a path to the room inside. The lights hit open and reveals the room is large enough to fill countless arsenal of weapons inside. Guns of all types, bulletproof suits and even melee weapons like knives, katana of all sizes and metal gauntlets; all of them are placed armed and ready for the members to arm on their way towards the mission this time.

“…Wow.” Jesse exclaimed as he is literally stunned by the weapons displayed inside the arsenal room. “We’re gonna be using these to go up against those guys?”

“Damn straight…” Tsubame assured as she walk towards one of the M60 machine gun sitting on the large table, accompanied with a large belt of bullets besides it.

"This is it, guys…take all you need to take…and we’d be on our way to war…we’re gonna kill them all…and while we’re at it, remember one thing guys…”

“What is it?” Jesse asked.

“…make sure that none of these cocksuckers you saw...ever get into cars. Blow up any cars out there near the harbor or near those guys. We wouldn’t want to waste any time to play cats and mice against them!”

Chill bro. You got a good story and a solid plot in your hands. All you have to do is to flesh out the story properly. It's rare to see these kinds of stories that tackle issues of the dark side of street racing without making it look too much like Fast and the Furious.

I'm a writer myself - well, I used to be - though my focus in writing back in the day was either about air combat (yes, I'm a frustrated fighter pilot) or about armored core set in a real robot environment.

Maybe my advise to you would be to do more research (no need to immerse yourself in the racing underworld environment hehe) as you write on to keep your story credible so to speak - it's hard to consistently write about something that you don't know about.

Oh, and be careful if you plan to kill off one of the major supporting characters (even adding a new one). It can make or break your story. With the given background of the story and a couple of dead red shirts (unknown and expendable background characters) as early as chapter 1, the death of a major character is inevitable to drive the story further.

Good luck! smile.gif

Thanks for the advice, RB33.

And I do agree that major character deaths can act as a double edged sword if not wielded properly; I'd see what I can do about it.

This is a very bloody story to be honest; and in no way suitable for kids to read (hence the use of profanity and violence going on) so there are bound to be a lot of deaths as the deaths between two sides of the law will be a key factor to drive the story further before the final showdown between two characters.

Again, thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated.

No worries bro. You might also want to watch this old 80s cop show called "21 Jumpstreet". It's about a group of cops that went undercover as a bunch of teens in order for them to penetrate the world of juvenile delinquency.

Yes, its a different setting from underworld street racing but it may help give you an idea as to how police do undercover work and how they coordinate with their colleagues who are on duty out in the open. If you've got better sources for that kind of information, the go over those as well. The way the story is going, one of the main characters will be definitely going undercover.

Oh, and for the "ka-boom" and other explosives, methinks it would serve your purpose/story better if you describe it instead:

i.e.

Original

"The fireball hits the NSX’s roof and…

KA-BOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!

The NSX exploded into a brilliant fireball of orange and red, and eventually turned into smithereens. The police officers inside were dead, as they are seen burnt to a crisp, leaving nothing but their skulls dangling over the burning seats. "

Suggested version:

"The fireball hits the NSX's roof and the unmistakable deafening roar of an explosion signals the death of two police officers as they and their car disappear in a brilliant ball of fire, leaving nothing but their skulls dangling over the burning seats."

Just my thoughts, feel free to use the suggestion or otherwise.

Looking forward to more wink2.gif

Thanks for the suggestion. I'd go check it out when I got time. And I do have one character undercover, it's just that I haven't introduced him yet. I will soon enough. You just gotta wait and see. wink2.gif

And that's definitely a nice way of putting the description towards action scenes. I'd like to see what I can do with that too. biggrin.gif

Tsubame sure is one violent cop...beating that RX-8 driver half-dead and crushed all their cars. o_o

And I wonder what of Kazuto's crew smoking with all those guys laying on Yokohama Harbor after he left on another place...? Now I am curious...

And sounds like Chapter 3 is gonna see a lot of bloodshed and explosions. Man, I can't wait till Tsubame is in action with Dominic and Jesse together as a team. It sounds like Tsubame is the leader with all-round element, Dominic being the tough one and Jesse being the smart one. Not a bad trio, I'd say. biggrin.gif

And like RB33 mentioned, I sure love to see an undercover character inside Kazuto's turf too, so that we can have a better idea what the hell's going on Kazuto's head when he's planning all this crazy shit with the Yakuza.

Keep it up, Kuroi!

Hello guys, sorry for the late update.

Chapter 3 is finally up and it's kicking in with a lot of craziness and wild action going on.

Chapter 3 – Fighting for Justice -報復のために殺す

The sounds of gates opening can be heard clearly under the dark day at the PSE headquarters. And as the gates opened halfway, the sounds of several types of engines starting at the same time with loud revving sounds followed after. The cars with slim and long police warning lights turned on and started dashing out towards the roads.

Soon, sirens are heard everywhere across the streets, countless cars of different models wearing the signature black and white police interceptor paintjob and warning lights are sprinting their way towards a certain destination from different routes, from small minor crossing roads to a larger metropolitan highway street.
Not long after the police cars were dispatched completely, there were also helicopters preparing for takeoff. The sounds of the propellers spinning were deafening at close range as the two chiefs of the PSE watched from afar. The units were all armed with bulletproof vests and helmet, as well as AR-15 rifles. The strong wind blown by the helicopters send the long coats worn by the superiors of the PSE afloat as they watched their units dispatch at a rapid pace after they are briefed of their mission, Chief Naze watched as he gazed towards the airborne choppers took off afterwards.

“Don’t overdo it…Hirano.” Chief Naze thought inside as he turned away and walked back inside the PSE along with Chief Maru following behind.

Onwards to the road, the three cars emerged out as a team cruising through the highway reveals to be the Shelby GT500 Interceptor on the middle, followed by two other interceptor cars, the left car being a Nissan GT-R Spec V R35 Interceptor, while the right side there is a black and white coated Dodge Viper SRT10 ACR Interceptor. All three cars with their warning lights on and their deafening sirens echoing through the road, the traffic cars immediately give way to them for passing as they’re on a hurry. Their cars are cruising at over 240 km/h at the moment and as they blast through the corners, they made it seemed like they’re still going straights.

“Alright, Dominic, Jesse, you know what to do. Don’t forget our main objective. I already told you guys all there is to know.” Tsubame said through her headphone as she continued to slalom through traffic cars as they went through a tunnel. “There’s a big guy there named Yagi, that will be the main target for now. We take this sucker out, the whole Yakuza team here will shatter. Once you’re done negotiating some guys there upon capture, finish them off instantly. We’re not taking anyone in; kill them once they’re dealt with. We need information, and only information alone that can lead us to Kazuto’s next move. Their lives meant nothing to the public, so don’t hesitate and shoot them till they’re f**king dead.”
“Jesse here, I gotcha, Hirano.” Jesse replied, he’s driving on the GT-R Spec V Interceptor.

“You can count on us, just don’t get too brave out there, Hirano. Wait for Commander Minaka’s backup team in case things got too hectic, alright?” Dominic added; his hands on the steering wheel of the Viper. They continued their path deep inside the long tunnel as they slalomed through a few more traffic cars and kept on their acceleration, now at 270 km/h. Their cars eventually vanished after they hit 300 km/h inside the endless tunnel.

Meanwhile, outside the tunnel’s exit, there appeared a speeding helicopter, armed with chain guns and missiles flew through the mildly busy highway area of that connects to the Yokohane Line.

“Yokohama Harbor is in sight, all units; prepare to engage.” The pilot spoke as he held the flight control stick and move in towards the area.

Soon, Tsubame’s team has already arrived on the harbor and as they’re on their way towards the main gate, they noticed that there are two bodyguards standing on the middle of the closed gates with AR-15 rifles, loaded and ready to fire at anytime. As their car’s sirens wailing can be heard, the bodyguards immediately open fire, mostly at the Shelby GT500. There were also other few bodyguards standing on the sideways of the main gate. And they were holding a Glock 17 handgun each, they too open fire as soon as the two goons holding the AR-15 started shooting.

“Dominic, Jesse, run over the bodyguards.” Tsubame commanded. “Don’t leave them running away. Shoot them if they’re still walking.” Tsubame immediately hit the accelerator hard as she rammed towards the bodyguards as they realized that they couldn’t stop the Shelby GT500 from charging towards them. But they were too late, as the Shelby rammed the giant main gates, and with it, send the two bodyguards flying airborne for what seemed to be like several seconds before they fell face first on the floor, killing them instantly. After she’s done her killing, she and Jesse eventually turned left and went to the parking lot where the Yakuza members are gathering.

“Roger, Hirano.” Dominic obeyed as he too stepped on his accelerator, and he turned his steering hard on the right path to try and run over the other four goons that tried to shoot him with their handguns. His Viper managed to hit one of them and send him flying several meters away before his entire body was twisted into an odd position, as his neck got twisted over 180 degrees after his body made a huge impact on a huge steel cargo container. The other three goons tried to run away as the Viper made a 180 degree turn towards them and started accelerating. Dominic grabbed a Remington 870 tactical shotgun and loaded it while leaving the steering wheel alone for a second before he opened the window. He then grabbed the steering wheel with one hand while the other hand aimed directly towards the goons. His Viper continued to accelerate wildly towards the remaining three members of Yakuza as they continued to turn and run, after a moment of pause as to whether they should shoot him or not.

“Fu*k!! RUN!!!” One of the Yakuza members panicked as he tried to run and shoot from behind. But before he can even pull the trigger, a loud shotgun sound can be heard and the second after that, the Yakuza goon was already lying down on the floor with his right arm blown clean off from his dead body. Dominic continued his pursuit towards the remaining two members as they continued to run. Dominic loaded his weapon once more and pulled the trigger. A second deafening gunshot sound echoed the harbor area, and soon one of the goons fell down and became motionless. His head was completely torn apart on the right side as the remaining left part of his skull was turned into a gory mess.

“Oh god, no! Fu*k this shit!!” The last Yakuza quickly tried to run sideways, but he’s merely delaying the inevitable. Dominic got him right where he wanted, a dead end, filled with containers. Dominic immediately rammed his Viper dead straight towards the last Yakuza into the contained, killing him instantly as the dead man vomited blood out from both his mouth and his nostrils together. Dominic reversed the Viper and left the mangled body and eventually followed the left path, joining up with the remaining two members.

“I took out the thrash, Hirano. We should be able to see the rest of the guys on the parking lot soon.” Dominic reported on his earphone communicator as his Viper eventually followed up to the Shelby and GT-R Interceptors.

“Nice work, Dominic. Hey, go between those guys!” Jesse suggested. He let go off his accelerator a little bit. Eventually he came to a stop on the parking lot, followed by the Viper Interceptor on the front, but the Shelby remained on full throttle…Tsubame isn’t planning to stop just there as she noticed the enemies are dead ahead of her. There stood an idle Toyota Alphard with several armed Yakuza members guarding it. “WHOA!! HIRANO, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!!”
“HIRANO! WAIT!!” Dominic warned Tsubame too, but to no avail. Tsubame ignored them both as she stepped on the accelerator still and charged towards the car. The Yakuza members were shocked by the oncoming Shelby Interceptor and started shooting, but before they can even aim properly towards the car, the Shelby GT500 reached the target. The police car slammed directly into the doors of the minivan and with the force of over 270 km/h, it managed to send the minivan flying several meters backwards, while the Interceptor remained intact still, due to the front of the car equipped with a titanium armor piece used to withstand collision. The minivan was completely totaled and eventually it stopped rolling with the car turned upside down.

“God dammit…Hirano…always doing things however she likes.” Dominic growled as he quickly steps out of the car and armed himself with several weapons. He’s now holding a tactical AK47 rifle, armed and ready to fire at anytime, while his back is carrying his tactical Remington shotgun. His own bulletproof vest is also armed with a few HE grenades and a knife. Tsubame hurriedly jumped out from her own Shelby Interceptor and quickly loaded her M60 GPMG machine gun. There is also a large belt of bullets worn around her body in a cross as it was chained towards the gun itself. She also carries other weapons around her, such as her own .44 Magnum revolver, her usual whip and taser and even two katana swords on her belt. And she seems to even hold a few shuriken blades on the back of her belt, covered by her black cloth worn on her wrist. There’s no mistaking it; she was armed to the teeth and one glance to her says that she will not hold any remorse or regret in the serious amount of damage that she’s going to do soon…

“Well shit…if she keeps this up, even John freakin’ Rambo might wanna calm her down.” Jesse jokingly thought as he remained quiet. Looking into the expression of Tsubame, she’s every bit angry as she is when she came in contact with the Yakuza.

“Shut down the entire Harbor!!!!” Tsubame commanded, as she started shooting away. The bullets riddle the Yakuza members as they tried to fire back. The members were all filled with lead as they got thrown back by the repeated succession of the weapon Tsubame carries. After being gunned down by Tsubame, the goons were all now dead and motionless. Tsubame tried to kick a few of them in the head to make sure they’re dead before moving on. All eight Yakuza members were killed instantly by her weapon. “Keep going! Don’t stop!”

Jesse on the other hand was holding a tactical AR-15 rifle on his arms, and he’s preparing to shoot a few more members appearing with AK47 rifles. Jesse pulled the trigger and fire away at them, making short work of those goons appearing as backup team. Soon a few more cars came. And this time they’re street racer cars, two Toyota Supras appear out of nowhere and they tried shooting from their side windows opened. Tsubame dodged a few while purposely allowed some rounds to hit her bulletproof vest. The reduced impact didn’t even faze her resolve a slightest bit as she started her counter attack.

Tsubame remained silent as she pulled the trigger on her M60 and fire away towards the two cars that are trying to ram her from afar. The bullets ripped open the windows and eventually made enough damage to even rip off the carbon hood, exposing the engine. Tsubame continued to riddle the two Supras with lead as it finally ignites the running engine. And as soon as fire starts gushing out, Tsubame stopped firing and slowly walked forward.

The two JZA80 Supras exploded and vanished into a brilliant pair of fireballs floating in the air with heavy smokes. The drivers inside were completely gone and what used to resemble them as men, now were just four brutally burnt skeletons sitting on a pair of devastated vehicles.

“Jesus Christ…” Jesse uttered in fear as he continued to march forward the carnage. He was shocked, but he knew that he cannot stop moving as their mission is still far from done. “…that’s a lot more brutal than I expected.”

“Keep your eyes peeled, Jesse.” Dominic said, as there are now a lot more vehicles arriving at the parking lot of the harbor. Most of them were black vans with a lot of masked Yakuza members, armed with rifles, machine guns and handguns. “Looks like we’re gonna have a whole lot of fight coming on our way.” Tsubame turned away from the carnage on the two cars as she switched her attention towards the vans.

“Jesse, go through the harbor and search for anything that has the data of the Yakuza organization. They appear in such large numbers that they should be someone who’s holding some valuable information. Take them out one by one and try to interrogate with them before killing them off.” Tsubame commanded, as she starts to search for her pocket to find something. “They should have a hideout somewhere! Go in there and make a clean sweep before you proceed with the data search! Leave the rest of these cocksuckers to me! Dominic, you go help him too!”
“Hirano!” Dominic yelled, feeling uneasy to Tsubame’s orders. “You really want to try and take them all at once?! You’re not f**king Rambo for crying out loud! We do this together, alright?!”

“Dominic!!” Tsubame shouted his name as she grabbed two lit hand grenades from her pocket and toss it towards the black vans. Two of them hit straight into the driver seat, through the window. The drivers inside tried to get out from the van and they open the slide door, but it was already too late. The grenades were lit a second ago before she toss them towards the vans. The grenades then went off and the blast sends the van afloat for a split second before it went up in flames, killing the driver and the passengers inside before they could make it out alive. As the other vans opened their doors, Tsubame started shooting once again with her M60 machine gun. “FOLLOW YOUR ORDERS!!! JUST LEAVE THEM ALL TO ME! GO DO WHAT YOU HAVE TO!!”

“Fu*k dammit!!!” Dominic growled in frustration as he obeyed Tsubame’s orders and followed Jesse from behind, who already left the spot where Tsubame is standing. Back to the vans surrounding Tsubame, the bullets pierce and ventilate both the masked goons and their vehicles, puncturing their vans’ tires and the goons were all shot full of holes and blood gushing out towards the ground. It was a bloody carnage, and Tsubame seemed to be on the winning side, despite being outnumbered.

Tsubame then stopped firing after a moment of chaos, as the remaining men were either dead or gone from the spot. She hold her M60 still and walked towards the vans and examined them one by one, soon as one of the masked members tried to reach her with a machete, Tsubame dodged it and knocked the man in the face with her machine gun, she then stepped on the fallen man’s face as hard as she could, until he started suffocating. As another man tries to sneak up from her behind, she sensed the presence and quickly drew a knife from her belt and stabbed the man behind, in the stomach. As the stomped man finally stopped breathing, Tsubame tightened her knife’s grip and with a very strong pull from her arm holding it, she ripped through the man’s belly, spilling a lot of blood and its internal organs out, while killing the man instantly. On her hand, she was holding a Fallkniven Forest S1 knife, now drenched in blood of her fallen foe. She wiped the blood of it and sheathed the blade back before turning away from the corpses and ran towards the parking lot.

“Officer Hirano speaking, Commander Minaka, are you near?” Tsubame asked as she started her transmission towards the other group lead by Satoshi Minaka, and from far away he seemed to be driving a Porsche Carrera GT Interceptor, coated in black and white paint of a police car and has slim warning lights on, and he’s leading a group of Honda NSX interceptors on his rear towards the highway roads. “I’ve mopped up most of the enemies near the main gate; you should be safe from there on! Hurry up and get over here, our team is the only one that made it here for now and we may need backup!”

“This is Commander Minaka, roger that.” Satoshi replied. “Our GPS are showing that we should be arriving in another few hundred meters more. Be on standby until then, if necessary. Do you need any resupply of ammunition?”

“That wouldn’t be necessary, sir.” Tsubame declined as she continued running towards the area that Jesse and Dominic left their mark on the road. “I’ve got more than enough ammo. You lead your men to secure the main gate so that none of them could escape from here, alright!?” Satoshi paused for a moment before he replied to Tsubame’s request.

“…all right then. Don’t do anything risky. We’re counting on you to snuff the guys out and see what the hell they’re planning in this area. Don’t let anybody live on this area, search and destroy!” Satoshi said as he await for Tsubame’s final response before he shuts off the communicator.

“Roger, commander. Leave those suckers to me.” Tsubame answered as she shuts off her communicator and reached to a deserted area near the harbor. And from that spot she saw a few large camps built near the safe houses, accompanied with several trucks and racing cars. She also noticed that Dominic and Jesse are not too far away from outside the camp area. Tsubame hurriedly reached towards the other two of her members and joined up with them.

“Dominic, Jesse…!” Tsubame whispered as she crouched down with the other two officers. “…what’s the hold up? Have you found something?”

“Yeah…” Jesse whispered back as he took off his infrared goggles to peek at the camps and safe houses. “When I was scanning for clues as to where the thugs may be gathering, seeing as there are already this many people at the main gates, I managed to find out they are all mobilizing on a scheduled routine manner. Take a look at this.” Jesse handed the goggles over to Tsubame as she switched it on. Through her eyes she can see many people sitting inside the camp and there were also a few armed men inside the safe houses.

“…sounds like we managed to find their hideout. But something’s weird…” Tsubame said as she glanced at both the camps and the safe houses a few more times. Oddly enough, their main target did not show up on her goggles. “…where the hell is Yagi?”

“That’s what worries us…he’s nowhere to be found, despite all of them being organized here and shit.” Dominic said; his hands were tightly gripped on his own AK47 rifle. “The bottom line is, the information we may need to go after might be the computers that were linked inside the camps and the safe houses. So if we managed to grab one of them, we may be able to trace something for the Yakuza’s next move.”

“And to get to them…” Jesse added, but before he could finish his sentence, Tsubame interrupted.

“We have to finish these guys off and probably Yagi together so that we’re clear of trouble, right? I got it…for now we just gotta storm the front and take all of them out, and hopefully we can force that fat ass to come out so we can take him down together at the same time!” Tsubame commanded as she reloaded another set of belt of bullets on her M60 machine gun from a box that was strapped behind her leather belt. She quickly loads the bullets inside the weapon and cocks the machine gun and prepares for her assault move. “On my count, we all storm towards together, alright?”

“I gotcha, Hirano.” Jesse agreed, followed by Dominic nodding. Tsubame then remove the goggles and gave a hand signal with a count of three. And on her mark, she begins to count down quietly.

Three…two…one…

Tsubame reached to her belt and grabbed two shuriken blades and toss it towards the entrance of the camp. The spinning blades ripped through one of the thugs inside on the neck, blood spewing out from his windpipe as he struggled for a moment inside the camp. While the other thugs were literally in shock watching their own man die in horror, three shadows behind the camp emerged close to them and on that split second, gunshots were heard everywhere.

Tsubame, Dominic and Jesse ventilated the camp and stormed inside the Yakuza’s first hideout, shooting down anything that moves. No men were spared, as they realized that up to this point the only men standing are Yakuza members. There were no record of them ever holding anyone hostage, so the risk of killing civilians up to this spot was literally impossible to happen. And knowing this, Tsubame unleashed her fury towards every goon she set her sights on and riddle all of them with bullets. Blood and gore were spilled everywhere inside the camp as Jesse went towards the computer desk inside the hideout and knock down a person trying to send a distress signal.

“Don’t even think about it, you S.O.B!” Jesse exclaimed as he pulls his trigger and killed the downed man instantly by shooting him in the head three times. As the man went down, Jesse quickly reached for his memory stick and plugged it inside the USB cord. “Dominic, Hirano, cover me!!”

“Make it fast, Jesse!” Tsubame replied, as she continued her shooting towards a few more thugs that are trying to reach her with their handguns. She then reached for her other pocket and held a bullet-thick, long steel rod. And with a good aim, she threw the projectile towards a Yakuza thug’s handgun barrel and blocked it clean. Tsubame realized that he’s the last one standing on her side, and realizing that the man is probably good as dead once he pull the trigger, she stopped firing and turn back, ignoring the Yakuza with his blocked handgun.

The shocked Yakuza paused and pondered for a moment as to the sudden behavior of Tsubame and tried to pull the trigger nonetheless, but as he did it so, the jammed gun instantly blew apart and the slide flew directly towards the man’s right eye and pierced through it. The man writhed in pain as he fell down and struggled about, holding his right eye which is now stuck with a slide metal piece. Dominic finished a few more enemies on his side and just turned around and watch as Tsubame ignored her last dying foe.

“For God’s sake, Hirano…just finish him off.” Dominic said as he sighed at the pathetic look on the last thug.

“Yeah…make it a quick death, would you please?” Jesse added, feeling annoyed by the cries of the last dying thug.

Tsubame leave her right arm holding the M60 machine gun, while her free left arm reached for her .44 magnum revolver. Not even bothered with looking at the dying man rolling on the floor writhing in pain still, Tsubame pulled the trigger and after a loud gunshot is heard, the man’s cry of pain ended instantly and there’s all but a faint echo of the gunshot sound made by Tsubame’s revolver. As Jesse turned and watched the dead body, he gulped in disgust and turned back to the screen of the computer. The last member’s left eye was completely blown clean off while leaving the slide stuck on his right eye still. Tsubame walked towards Jesse and the computer as she kept the revolver back to the holster.

“So, found anything?” Tsubame asked.

“Check this out, Hirano.” Jesse turned the monitor towards Tsubame. The computer shows a huge iron safe chest kept inside the safe houses located near the camp here. And the monitor screen also shows an unknown name approaching towards the harbor within 1300 hours, which is technically about three minutes from now on Tsubame’s digital watch under her glove. “So here’s what I probably think…theoretically anyway. There’s a huge ass full of loot inside the safe that is kept inside the safe house A. And Safe house B is probably a backup hideout for safe house A’s bodyguards in case something goes wrong. And this…alias named…”KARASU”…it seems like some code name for some special agent member for a specific Yakuza member in the organization. And he or she will arrive in approximately 3 minutes from now and will probably came and took the safe along with it to deliver towards their next destination.”

“KARASU?” Dominic stares at the name once more to confirm, but there were no profile pictures whatsoever. And the profile detail shows nothing, except for the detail that KARASU is a new recruit Yakuza member. “…sounds like bad luck to me…if this guy is new, then we shouldn’t have much problem in dealing with him later on…still, something tells me that things may not go that way…”

Tsubame just remained silent as she stares at the name “KARASU” and pondered without a word. Her expression was mixed as she seemed anxious of the name itself. Then she finally found her voice again. “Jesse, take all the data with you and kill the PC. We’ll proceed our way towards Safe House A and get rid of those guys there first. We need to make sure KARASU didn’t jump his way in and grab the cargo on time. Three minutes isn’t exactly long, but we gotta make sure everything is working on our favor, while Commander Minaka should be here at any minute with the choppers along. Let’s move!”

“Yes, ma’am!” Jesse obeyed as he did a few clicks on the mouse, and after a few seconds, he removed the memory stick, drew his gun, points it towards the monitor and blasted it into smithereens with a few shots, destroying the CPU together with it.

Outside the main gates of the Yokohama Harbor, the Porsche Carrera GT Interceptor and the rest of the other crew were already set up on a huge road block to prevent any Yakuza men from escaping. Soon, two helicopters were also flying high above the parking lot area and scouting to see if there are any survivors left on the carnage that was made by Tsubame’s team.

“This is Hornet 1; reporting.” The first helicopter transmitted its voice towards the radio on the Porsche of Satoshi as he is listening. “We searched through the entire parking lot and we found nothing, but on the other hand it seems like Officer Hirano and her other two members are getting things under control on one of the hideout camps the Yakuza members made.”

“Good. Anything else you see up there?” Satoshi asked.

“We saw two deserted safe houses nearby the camp. It seems to be guarded by some members there…and it looks like Officer Hirano and her team is on the move to safe house A.” The pilot inside Hornet 1 reported as the chopper turned another way and flew passes the roadblock again.

“What should we do now, sir?” One of the NSX Interceptor officer asked as he readies his weapons behind Satoshi.

“Remain on standby.” Satoshi replied, his arms holding a tactical Remington 870 shotgun. “Officer Hirano and her team will take care of things. If something bad happens to them, we’d know when they need us. For now, we’d just make sure that there are no more of those pricks jumping into this joint. Once everyone here in the harbor are dealt with, we’d shut down this entire area for a clean sweep. Hornet 2, how are things over the other side of the harbor?”

Towards the other side of the smaller entrance towards the harbor area, the other helicopter was scouting around the air and viewing towards the smaller parking lot and see if there were any activities out there, and apparently it looks quiet from the angle of the chopper’s view.

“This is Hornet 2…everything is clear.” The pilot responded as he continued on with the patrol. There are about three to four men inside the helicopter, all armed with tactical rifles of many kinds. “No unusual activity development whatsoever, over.” Then not too far from down below, a glowing ball of yellow flew high up towards the Hornet 2 chopper. And before the pilot notices it, the fireball made huge impact through the bottom of the helicopter and went off with a huge explosion. The Hornet 2 helicopter turned into a thousand pieces of debris and burnt metal, killing the pilot instantly as well as the few of the men inside it.

“What the hell!?!” Satoshi exclaimed, his eyes locked in horror as he watches the remains of the helicopter smashes its way down to the sea. And not too far, the trail of smoke revealed that on a hidden corner of the containers nearby the safe house B, it was soon to be revealed that a hulking man stood there with an RPG-7 rocket launcher on his arms. He also seemed to be carrying an M134 minigun behind him, and he’s armed with other explosive grenades too on his chest. “Who the hell? It’s that…? Hornet 1!! Get a visual confirmation on that guy!”

“Yessir!” The pilot in Hornet 1 obliged as he weaved the helicopter towards the safe house area and observe the man below. “Sir!! It’s…! It’s Yagi, that huge leader of the Yakuza’s henchmen in this area. He’s the guy responsible for shooting down Hornet 2!! What should we do, Commander?!”

“Wait, hold on!” Satoshi said, trying to keep his cool, despite what happened just now. “Officer Hirano and the other two seemed to be near where that man is right now. Remain on standby and wait for my call!” Hornet 1 obliged as he remained on scout flight while keep his sights peeled towards what is happening on the safe house B area.

“Surprise, surprise!!” The giant chuckled as he threw aside the weapon that he just fired towards the fallen Hornet 2 chopper. Tsubame and her crew saw him from a near distance, and they were hardly happy about what they just saw, and who they just met. “Killing my men and trying to dig me out? You got what you came for, so what are you gonna do about it now, stinkin’ cops?”

“Ventilate that big fat head of yours and rip your lungs out of your stinking body, that’s what it is.” Tsubame retaliated, as she points her M60 machine gun towards him, followed by Dominic and Jesse from behind doing the same too. “What did you got in that cargo anyway? What the hell is it for, Yagi?!!”

“If you want to find out so much, missy…” Yagi, the hulking man said slowly as he grabbed his minigun, already locked and loaded as he points the weapon towards Tsubame and her crew. “…then you’d better be sure as hell you can MAKE me in doing so!!” Yagi then started firing his minigun towards Tsubame and her crew members. Tsubame quickly ran sideways and jumped into a corner of a few large empty barrels.

“Hirano!” Jesse quickly ran ahead of her and took cover on another side of the emptied barrels. Dominic tried to shoot Yagi a few times in the chest, surprisingly, Yagi seemed unscathed, despite the bullets from his AK47 made repeated succession towards the large man’s body.

“Hahaha! Little bang bangs aren’t gonna stop me like the rest of the squishy fools around here.” Yagi chuckled, as he continued firing his minigun again to lure Jesse out from the barrels. The bullets pierced through the barrels, as expected, forced Jesse to find another place to take cover. Jesse quickly jumped to a large container’s back and took cover on that spot. Tsubame took the chance to jump in and attack Yagi from his blind spot. Tsubame quickly points her M60 machine gun and shot Yagi’s legs.

“Arrgh!!” Yagi writhed in pain as he fell down to one of his knees. The bullets managed to pierce him on that spot, but there was hardly any major damage, much to Tsubame’s surprise. The sizes of the bleeding wounds he got from the machine gun were no worse than a needle pierce to Yagi’s giant legs. “Why you little mouse…! That hurt, dammit!!”

“Shit…” Dominic muttered as he quickly aimed for the other leg fired away. Realizing that Yagi was not protected much on his legs, Dominic used it on its advantage and hit as hard as he could. “Hirano!! NOW!” Dominic yelled as he ran towards the half-crippled giant and knock him off balance in the head, sending his massive body crashing down the ground with a huge thud, the back of his head made an impact as he fell from the weight of his own body.

“Good work!” Tsubame took out two more shuriken blades and threw it towards Yagi’s left arm. The spinning blades immediately sliced off partially of Yagi’s hand, while the other shuriken sliced the upper half, instantly removing the very hand that holds the weapon itself.

“Arrghhhhh!!! My arm!!! My fu*king arm!!” Yagi writhed in pain, dropped his weapon and grabbed the wide-open wound, blood gushing out everywhere on the ground. Tsubame threw her M60 machine gun and dashed quickly towards Yagi as he noticed that Tsubame is trying to attack her, he tried to grab her with his right hand, but before he can do it, Tsubame drew out her left katana and in an instant, she drove the blade directly into the huge palm of Yagi, and immediately she drove it continuously through the entire right arm, slicing the whole body part into half. Once the blade reached to the shoulder part, Tsubame twisted the blade upwards and finish with an upper slice, cutting off the upper half of the entire arm from the man’s right shoulder. But Tsubame wasn’t finished yet, she quickly jumped towards Yagi as he was screaming in terrible pain still, and she grabbed him in the face, knowing that he’s not quite dead yet. There was still something that she needs to ask from Yagi before she will put him out of misery.

“YAGI!! SPEAK NOW!!! WHAT WAS INSIDE THAT SAFE YOU GUYS ARE GUARDING!? AND WHO IS THAT NEW RECRUIT OF YOURS?!” Tsubame angrily questioned the half-dead man, as she sticks the katana blade directly on to Yagi’s neck, ready to chop it off at any second.

“N…New recruit…?” Yagi said, confused, he was barely breathing as he coughed some blood. “I…I…I don’t know what you’re talking about…!! I swear…I don’t know anything about a new recruit…!! And that safe inside is something valuable, that is all! My boss told me nothing about it otherwise, I...I swear I am not making this up!!”

“What…?! You mean you don’t know?! Jesse!” Tsubame turned to Jesse as he turned to his own digital watch and see that it’s merely 15 seconds away from 1300 hours.

“It’s time, Hirano…he should be here at anytime by now…!” Jesse replied as he turned around and glanced towards the parking lot and noticed far away that a road block is already made there. “Your call, Hirano. What should we do on safe houses’ goons?”

“We’ll go inside there and ki—“right before Tsubame can finish her sentence of command, Tsubame heard a loud explosion somewhere far away. That deafening explosion was without a doubt came from propane source as the intense heat can be felt even from here. “What the hell!! Where did that come from?!”

Tsubame glanced as she noticed that one of the containers located near the roadblock exploded and the firestorm spread intensely towards Satoshi and his crew members. The men at the roadblock quickly evacuate from their vehicles and find cover from a safe distance before the heat consumes them. The explosion zone created the firestorm that was so intense that it has spread over a radius exceeding 500 meters in range. Tsubame quickly turned her attention back to Yagi and tightened her grip on her katana, ready to kill the man she held.

“Who set that off, Yagi?! IS THAT YOUR MEN’S DOING?!” Tsubame yelled at Yagi.
“NO! I SWEAR I DIDN’T ORDER ANYONE TO DO THAT!” Yagi denied in panic, he’s about to die soon enough as he breathed heavily. “I didn’t even…know that the container….over there hold any propane tanks!! This…this is not…” Before Yagi finishes his sentence, soon a sharp sound can be heard.

Click!

After that sound, a faint beeping sound is followed, which sounds like…
“BOMB!!” Jesse yelled as he quickly pulls Dominic away from the spot where Yagi is right now. “Hirano!! BAIL!!”

“SHIT!!!” Tsubame quickly leaped away and ran away from Yagi as the beeping sound was clearly from his body somewhere. When Yagi heard the sound, he too panicked for a bit and in his mind, he thought:

“Wait! I don’t remember setting off that myself! Who in the hell did—“ But as the moment he was thinking, the bomb hidden somewhere on his body had already ignited and it went off with a huge, loud explosion, blowing Yagi’s body into several ripped and burnt pieces of flesh and broken bones. Tsubame and her crew was safe, but the shock from what happened all of the sudden still put them into a state of confusion.

“What the hell was going on here?” Tsubame thought out loud, as she turned back towards the burning propane zone near the roadblock. “Who the hell set these up?” As she was thinking, several men broke out from the doors of safe house A and B and they spotted Tsubame and her members.

“Worry about that later!! Survive now! We still got company!!” Dominic said as he turned his attention towards the henchmen arriving outside of the safe houses and started shooting at them. Jesse followed as he too assisted in the assault. Tsubame quickly threw her katana towards a henchman and the blade went through his neck, killing him instantly. “I don’t care who started all these explosions, but whoever is doing all these has got some serious mental health problems with murdering people!!”

“We’d just have to make sure we find out who started all these implosion happening on the harbor!” Tsubame added as she grabbed the blade from the fallen goon and sheath it back to her hilt as she went and grabbed the M60 on the ground and continued her shooting towards the remaining few thugs. Back to Satoshi’s roadblock area, where the intense heat is still obstructing them of their ability to go any closer due to the propane container’s huge explosion; and the fire is still spreading wildly as they took cover from a safe distance.

“Who the hell put a f**king bomb inside that container filled with propane!!” One of the officers asked as he quickly covers his mouth and nose to prevent the heat from entering his lungs.

“Whoever he is…someone’s got a nutcase level of accuracy in using explosions to block our advance in a very well-timed manner.” Satoshi said, as he continued to watch the fire spreading its way and block the entire front road leading them towards the parking lot and safe house area. “Someone must’ve been watching our movement early on when all the shit is happening towards the safe houses. Watch your steps, people; there might still be someone here.” And from far away on the other side of the containers where there’s a wired gate completely cut open and exposed, a black exotic looking car is parked on that area.

It was revealed to be a jet-black McLaren F1, and inside the driver seat, a driver with a helmet worn is seen standing by inside the car, with one of his hands holding a remote controller of some sort. He watched as the explosion on the propane-tank filled container continued its fire spread. It was also revealed that he was communicating with someone through a communicator.

“…yeah, Yagi is done, and I sprung the trap. Everything is going smoothly.” The main said with a soothing, yet somewhat laid back voice. Inside his car, his tachometer shows the car was idling beautifully at 900 rpm. “So all I need to do now is to deliver that cargo to you and I am good? Alright then…consider it done.” The sound was inaudible from outside the man’s ears as the voice was blocked out by his helmet. “…yeah, 100 US grand at the finish line, right? Don’t worry…you know I need this job and I could use the money.”

On the other side the man communicating with the driver of the F1, his face was hidden, but he did hold the form of a bio of the driver, and the paper didn’t show who the man really was, but the alias or nickname blank revealed to be the name “KARASU” written on it.

“Perfect…I await your good result at the finish line then. Keep it up and you’d find a nice and comfortable spot in my joint. Mark my words for it, you’d be paid well and if you do it with style, I’d add another 20% bonus for you.” The main said through the phone. Back to the McLaren F1's driver, he just smiled and replied:

"Done deal..."
