Talk anything about Real Racing 3 here. Post your progress, name you use and connection method and journals if you want. Screenshots of your favourite cars are also welcome here!

Today: Got 100% on Global GT Clash this morning. Now I'm just re-racing with the cars used in Pro/Am Supercar Club, RWD Open Revolution and Modern Sports Classics. Racing each car twice on certain events.

Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 is at 50% off! 6 days only!

Oh hai! So this is up? I just noticed laugh2.gif

Already got the ZR1 so~, meh sleep.gif
Currently inactive because I lost the motivation to play again xD
But if ever I do play again, I would be farming at V10 Showdown and GT1 Grand Tour (there are races here that reward you with almost 20k R$ per win).
That of course, is because I'm still on the Dubai update, where race prizes were still worth grinding for.

If ever I'll be playing again soon, its to full-tune the cars laugh2.gif

Android user by the way tongue.gif

I bought my ZR1 at 40 Gold, with a showcase discount. It's still much better than purchasing it at full price!

FM recently announced Real-Time Multiplayer, but it's only for iOS devices at the moment. And I also saw a screenshot on their website with the Lamborghini Veneno and McLaren P1......

I'm also an Android user.

Latest update is now out!

Featuring two new Hypercars: The Lamborghini Veneno and McLaren P1!
Also features a new series with those two and the Porsche 911 RSR (from the 50 years of 911 series), called Vertex Series.
And the career series in Legend have been rearranged......

So this is the new career mode series order in Legend:

Ferrari Faceoff (Ferrari FF, 458 Italia and F12berlinetta)
Supercar Elites
Spirit of Ferrari (Ferrari 458 Spider, 599 GTO and Enzo)
Zenith Series
Vertex Series (McLaren P1, Porsche 911 RSR, Lamborghini Veneno)

Playing with basic Supercars is much better than playing with Production models.......

Oh yeah, there's also a special holiday livery for the Ford Focus RS, and it's free!

Still waiting to do 2 IAPs to get gold and cash, then I'll be getting 100% on AWD Attack with the Hyundai i20 WRC and The Legend Continues with the Shelby '66 Cobra 427.

Then it's on to the Lexus LFA Showcase Series and on to the Porsche 50 Years of 911 Series. More IAPs are planned for the Porsche series and beyond......

Too slow in updating my progress; I'm still with my R34 on the 2nd series but satisfied much. What I wasn't satisfied however was the fact they dropped it as an FR not an AWD.

Oh yeah, they haven't fixed that. Guess that's the only error related to drivetrains.......

It's still quite lacklustre, even when fully upgraded. Too slow acceleration and very slidy.

Which update are you on now? And by the 2nd series you mean Street-Spec Skirmish?

So I forced the game to use Medium settings for graphics, and set the phone's CPU Governor to [Performance].

...

Eye Candy~ laugh.gif Aside from looking nicer, it doesn't lag as much as it used to w00t2.gif

What phone are you using, and which custom Android firmware are you using? Your description sounds like it's a custom firmware.

-LG Optimus 3D [SU-760] (That code is there to signify that it is the Korean version of the phone. The worldwide version is known as [P920] )

-Stock Android 4.0 [ICS]
-Kernel? I'm assuming it is stock as well, but the "sanjose" governor seems to hint otherwise

What phone are you using? Is it rooted? Do you have a file explorer app that can see hidden files and folders?

Samsung Galaxy Note II using the stock Jelly Bean firmware (4.1.2).

Not rooted. Besides, I don't want to void my phone's warranty!

you can easily unroot if you have to send back for warranty laugh.gif

mind you my phone unrooted itself when i updated firmware through KIES. so im running same as you (4.1.2) on a S3

wonder when we'll get 4.3 lol -.-

I think I tried this game out at some point (might've been when it's new) but I didn't play it much (not much of a mobile gamer) and I ended up uninstalling i think

Oh~, welp... I can't help you then xD

Can you at least describe how the graphics are like?
Because from what I've read so far from other users, the Android version is set to the lowest graphics settings possible.

@WRX - For a phone platform, it is a great game thumbsup.gif But then, things went from good to worse because of the recent updates it got dry.gif
Imagine getting slapped with IAPs for almost every action in the game which, normally, should not be asking for IAPs. (Changing paint, fully upgrading the car, etc.)

Just don't spend your gold on:

If there's a cash option for upgrades, use that instead of Gold.
Instantly delivering upgrades.
Speeding up servicing.
Hiring crew members when they're not free.

What I don't like about the game is that it demands to much IAPs. But other than that, it's all good. smile.gif

I don't remember which game started the whole Freemium thing. But I think the first game I tried that had it was GT Racing: Motor Academy (ugh, hate it).

I also had another Freemium game, Brothers In Arms 2, and I didn't pay a single cent for purchases in there! I used a glitch to keep on earning medals just by going from the game to the free offers section on a Wi-Fi network.

god i hate that stuff

it sounds exactly like something EA would do ... i'd rather pay $5 or even $10 for the game upfront and not have stuff like premium only cars and crap like that -.- thats exactly what turned me off NFS World also ... either grind forever to get a okay car and then all the good parts are speedboost only rolleyes.gif

sorry for ot

Not only EA. Other game companies are doing this too.

Can we go back on topic anyway?
