Here's a different view which does show that this car actually has the projector style headlights (my mistake on the touring car lights), a standard front bumper and no hood lip among other differences. The game is still afoot as it seems the K9 unit that responded was not the useful in tracking the suspect. And @ N643, don't worry, I would not have made a joke thread like this if anyone had suffered serious/permanent physical injury, maiming or death. I still have my own code of conduct.

^ afaik, first thing that gets salvaged in a car is the engine. After that, suspension, brakes, transmission, exhaust, wheels, and all that.

QUOTE (Blue-Sensei @ Aug 12 2012, 11:14 AM) | O_O...I thought it was yours too...Still sucks, I hate the fact that all of the cars from this era are disapearing due to accidents T_T |
Really that could be said of cars of any era. If it makes you feel any better, judging from the trim it looks like an early to mid line model of the R32. No N1 ducts, no visibly ostentatious Nismo parts, plain plastic front airdam. While I feel for the owner, in the grand scheme the car doesn't look like it's that unique of a GT-R and there are still tens of thousands of R32 GT-Rs running around out there and they made far more R32 GT-Rs then they did any other model GT-R. Its loss isn't significant except here in America where their rarity is greatly exaggerated by retarded news reports like the one that this was included in which stated there were only of its kind 5 in America and that it was worth $70,000 USD... yeah right. So that means I've been meeting with OVER 100% of the US population of R32s JUST here in southern California. Mind< BLOWN!!!
