Hi everyone. I stumbled across this forum and was absolutely thrilled by the numerous WMMT music heads here. I'm hoping you guys can help or even at the very least point me in the right direction...

As much as the individual tracks in the three WMMT OSTs rock, BBC Radio1 and Initial D Megamixes have ruined me. I am personally starved for some Essential Mix-type treatment of these songs and from reading posts on this sites, I am thankfully not alone. I have hunted high and low in many corners of the net and like the Chupacabra, sightings are few and far between. Below are links to those I have found on my own:


These mixes are about 10-15 minutes or so. Pretty good samplers I think.

So what's a Yuzo junkie to do with this peculiar itch? Make your own! DJing is definitely not my choice of hobby, but damn, I needed some WMMT nonstop tunes in my ears! So I took a crack at it - four times to date - with the results culminating into the Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune MegaMix Project:

Humor aside, I am anxious to find some creative, quality WMMT DJ mixes. I thought it would be a given with our talented home-brewed DJs on the net (anticipating Chrono Trigger/Final Fantasy type abuse), but alas, they simply don't exist in these numbers!

So again, if you have any WMMT DJ mixes, working on any WMMT DJ mixes, or know where I can hear some aside from the links posted earlier, I would be both grateful and ecstatic. Help a fellow Yuzoite out!

Hi again everyone. I just wanted to share my final contribution to this thread's open call for any and all WMMT mixes. Up until now I had done a total of four medium sized mixes about 36-40 minutes each, with tracks taken from all three albums plus a few unreleased tracks from the 3DX/3DX+ game.

Now these mixes can be heard in a three hour seamless compilation - an interpretation of what a possible Essential mix might sound like if it were WMMT night on BBC Radio1 (One can dream!!!) Rounding out the package are some added album tracks along with a few Wangan Midnight R/WMMT mashups for intrigue.
