Sup guys been awhile.

Since the last time I came here.. I have separated the military. Was a great divorce I left on my own terms with honor. I however still live in Japan now permanently!!

Much has happen as you all know the life of a drifter.. The past D1 season was not good at all for me. battled many engine and tranny issues but developed a solid chassis full of suspension goodies. When I was not swapping engine the car actually drove damn good. Before switching back to the S-chassis I drifted my RB25 for four years and daily drove it all over Japan. Not a single issues for engine or box.. SO................... I am now dropping a RB26 into my Sil80 which is near completion having only started about 4 weeks ago. Having my R33 assisted as I was able to grab certain parts from it. My sponsors helped a bunch also with parts. The Rb26 will be powered by a GT3540r Single Turbo. Springs have been ordered also to support the new weight up front along with proper chassis mods. Here are some recent pics and final video before my last SR blew up.

Ready to drop in. Thanks for all the help on parts from friends and sponsors. I just started this build about 4 1/2 weeks ago and will complete it in the next 2-3 weeks. Could not have done this so fast without all the support from AFG Moto, Enjuku Racing, Zenky Racing, Hybrid Performance, Drift Tough, Gaijin Drift, Kaizoku Co. and QuickStyle. Thanks!!!! can't wait for 2013 season to start up!!

People have already chimed in.. the top oil line is not final I just finger tight screwed it on to check length I have the proper 90 deg fitting on the way in the mail.

got off work at about 1130 went straight home to finish .. Currently about 4am being solo putting the RB trans up and aligning everything took about a hour but it got done... I am not going to miss the SR at all however was such a lighter trans to throw around. This being my third solo RB trans job.... not amusing lol.

awesome build man!!! its good to see a member is in active drift comp..hope you get to be with the big boys soon...and dat orange-pink-ish RB head.....*shivers in excitement*

and as for the backup RB you got lying there, why not a new project or something...I seen alot of 2J's,1J's,SR's and RB's in D1...why not a quirky build? like a RB26 head to a RB30 engine block??just suggesting...and you sir have my upmost respect...^^

Awesome guy right here! That RB26 slapped on an S-chassis car is just pure badass, and that GT3540R is a definite BIG bang of a turbo. It's hard to imagine anyone not getting excited to see this thing.

I agree with Benevolence on the spare RB, it's a good engine in itself so I think it could be put on a practice car/daily driver or even complete it as a different project.

Great car and I really hope you do well on the 2013 Street Legal season, we may even get to see you run on the main D1GP series soon if things go real well. happy.gif

thanks guys smile.gif

this is not a project car.. its a comp car and I need to have another engine ready to go for it in the event something catastrophic happens as it does when competing on this level at times. That N1 RB26 will be fully forged. I just did a OE build on this block to get things started adding ACL bearings and all the oil mods, I have three other cars to do wacky things to lol.. this car is just for competition simple and effective nothing wild as I don't have the budget to maintain a wild setup.

I have already also drifted with many pro drivers in D1. Competition drifting for an solo guy is tough but Ill fight through it all with this new setup cant wait for next season to start!!

will keep posted!!

N6 this last year has been fast past between d1 comps and getting out of the military. I was not able to really get on any forums and do most my business on FB. I still have the DR30 however that is on the back burner. I have to replace the ignition system. Will be upgrading it with an entire SR20 ignition system and ECU.

first shake down and analysis. minor suspension tweaks and engine tuning. will post up again once its all dialed in and im drifting normally again. my timing was a bit off as the car is much quicker with the new Tq and its light weight. My R33 was 433hp but also over 3000lbs.

I have touge footage on my youtube page.

as for wangan... im 9 hours from the wangan I got a bit to much to do with drifting at the moment but when I do go down there to compete Ill take the sil80 on yhe Loop!! vids for sure my bros.

I dont do any hard core stuff at all.. I would not post it on youtube. I am a D1 driver and if caught I would be kicked out of D1 and possibly Japan lol.
