baghdad sniper on 'Murrica..armed with a Romanian PSL and a PT92/B92Fs..also,2 C4 bricks and a plutonium core for....you know,zombie overpowers him.... |
Survival: 7/10 - a fight to the finish with the zombies bro? Gear: 6/10 - if a horde manages to get close enough to you, then you're pretty much screwed... of course, there's the plutonium core to help you take them zombies with you... @Antares Looks like you're ready to hunker down there hahaha but... you forgot to put a backpack to carry your other stuff... here's my latest setup: The Spetsnaz Classic And yes, I also have a plutonium core so that I can take them zombies with me down to the underworld as a crowd hahaha XD This post has been edited by RB33 on Mar 9 2013, 07:45 AM

QUOTE (Antares @ 23 minutes, 14 seconds ago) | Survival: 6/10 I'm really skeptical if you can you survive for several days on just protein bars and a few bottles of water.
Gear: 8/10 Pretty reliable gear and it's easy to move around with all those weapons. You can also find your way around with the maps, compasses and the like. And of course the ever present Plutonium Core |
I did just that in a few camping trips back in the day... protein bars and water XD

QUOTE (vash944 @ 11 minutes, 3 seconds ago) | Survival 6-7/10 (if you're out in the city, it will go higher to 7 at the early days on Apocalypse Z at a town area, practically if you can pick up instant noodles you could eat it raw and tastes like crackers)
Gear: 8/10 I would agree with Antares' score too due to the easy availability of mags and bullets found in abandoned gun shops, 7.62X39mm is a nasty one when it goes to your advantageous range... too bad it doesn't have burst fire option tho |
AKs don't need burst fire mode hehehe

QUOTE (vash944 @ 7 minutes, 47 seconds ago) | for bullet conservation purposes tho =P
otherwise 1-2 shots in the zombies' head using AK series does the dirty trick indeed |
works for folks who are misers on the trigger... like me :3

A counterpoint to my Spetsnaz gear? I'd say it's good... but you seem to have forgotten a knife or a multipurpose tool to help you with the small but essential survival stuff...

True that haha Here's a representative from the CIGN, a French special forces team: EDIT: I've always wanted to do a gear based on the Ghillie suits... this one's pegged at 12kg as per the crap calculator... This post has been edited by RB33 on Mar 11 2013, 08:42 AM

QUOTE (vash944 @ Yesterday, 5:52 PM) | methinks you meant GIGN or Groupe d'Intervention de la Gendarmerie Nationale
based on the gear setup that might be the light assault group or commando/specialist
using FN's P-90 and Five-Seven combo seems practical when either the SMG or pistol is inoperable you can still use the bullets
if opting for rifle... use "le bugle" or FA-MAS G2... the best part for this is it can use 30 round STANAG mags probably from M16 |
Yep, that's the exact French group that I was talking about bro. And... since there's no flamethrower available - other than the spray can + lighter combo - I substituted the flamethrower with what comes close as the Pyro's flaregun from Team Fortress 2... Enjoy...
