I've only used a few cars, but here's what I think of them in 3DX+

Tier 1: RX8, FD, CT9A, R32
For me, tier 1 cars are the fast, record-setting cars, easy to use and doesn't really take long to get used to. Not really the ideal beginner cars imo, since I think it would be a bit hard to get used to other cars once accustomed to these.

Tier 2: JZA80, R34, S30, S15, Z33
These cars would be my ideal beginner cars, takes some time to get used to but will help build experience. Not the best cars to use when aiming for top times on most tracks though.

Tier 3: Z32, CP9A, GG3P
The veteran cars, at the hands of experienced players I've seen these cars become as fast as tier 1 cars in battles. Fast times are quite a challenge though.

May i give some of my 2 cents?
Tier 1:
E9, E8, R32, S30,Rx8
Most of these cars are the cars i currently main. And they're pretty good when it comes to turns. Especially the S30, its light and thats what makes it easy for beginners.

Tier 2:JZA80
The supra is hard to turn and for starters, it can hurt your arms especially going at the normal hp at hakone(note for starters)

Not saying I'm a pro at this game, but just saying my 2 cents

Generally, I'd base it in order from most gears to least.
1. 6-gear
2. 5-gear
3. 4-gear

Notables/exceptions to the above, based on experience:
1. Evo8/R34 (first choice), Z33/S15 (second choice)
2. Z34/JZA80/Z16 (for handling quirk), RX-8

noob cars: evo8, and evo9, then sti gdbc, gc8 and gdbf and also grb, gtrs r32 and 34. i personally wouldnt recommend anything else until you have a good understanding of game physics and start to get serious about ta. im seeing a lot of post about the fc3s being a good noob car, its not. is it a good car? sure but it takes a lot of skill and concentration to run that car fast in time attacks as that thing has decent speed but little grip compared to an evo or rx8. cool.gif

Sorry for necrobump

Could we update this for MT5 for the sake of others?
Or it could still be the same this time around?

Overall Ranking (Potential in TA + Battle)

S Tier: FD3S, SE3P, L10B
A+ Tier: BNR32, BNR34, CT9A
A Tier: R35
A- Tier: GDB-C
B Tier: S30, GC8, MX-5, AE86, CE9A
B- Tier: CP9A, Z34, JZA80, GDB-F, CTR, Aristo, BCNR33, FC3S, BL5
C+: JZA80
C Tier: KPGC10, SA22C, Z33, Z32, Z31, JZA70
C- Tier: Hi-Ace
D Tier: R2, Corolla, RS4

These are my personal views on the cars based on the interwebs, I don't know any much about the unknowns. Rest are probably B or C tier. I'll revise and build upon it when the community chimes in.

Pretty much agreeing with this, but i see the 110S on the border though.. it could be S or S- imo..

that's... really spot on i admit laugh.gif

i would like to request for a review / rating of Pajero evo pls :3

and probably CP9A-V , CP9A-VI (although you mentioned it already)
my rating though for these two cars would be around A-. balanced cornering, good in burnouts but as expected. top speed is low against the straight line speed monsters grin2.gif

and yeah you could also probably call me a mitsu fanatic from these two cars , one of them even sporting a TM livery lmao

A+ is good enough for those two, especially R34.

If only the JZA80 could go lower than B- without stepping into C Tier.

I'm no expert at all, a far cry from one, but I think the BL5 can fit in B- tier. It is quite easy to use, good battle performance, but evidently not very good TA.
