Hello, this is Norm.
Like most of you, I have been introduced to Wangan Midnight with Maximum Tune. Thank you Namco for doing this!
I've stumbled upon it after my older brother told me that there is a game that is like Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3 that we used to play a lot on the PS2. If it wasn't for him I would have never see the virtual Shuto Expressway ever again in this time.
Been playing since the first Maximum Tune game, used to have a red Z33, a Hiace that later turned white, a B&W Z31, a grey Z34, and finally a black Celsior. Other than the Celsior, all of my other cards went missing, all due to crooks. Sometimes I rethink of the good days with them. Other than Maximum Tune details, I have fallen in love with the story of Wangan Midnight. I think most about that than the game itself. The plot and writing is truly fantastic, inspiring as well.

So, I'm from Indonesia, and I am living in teh capital. And of course it is an arcade game location. We have 3DX+ but with the recent release of the English copy of MT4, we have yet to receive those. However I did get to play it on a recent business trip to Hong Kong, I created a white R32 on the Banapassport I have been using for Tekken Tag 2 in Indonesia. As I am using an Indonesian Banapassport on a Hong Kong machine the card did not have any data corruption, just added Hong Kong to my line of registered arcades. So I have a gift from Hong Kong!
In a few days I'll be in Singapore and I plan to visit a Timezone arcade and make a Singapore gift as well, a R34. However I don't plan to transfer my Celsior to MT4 in Singapore.
I don't spend much on the game, except very recently when I successfully made up my MT inactivity by completing story mode unshaded, completing all 10 Outrun levels on all areas, and right now finishing my dress up closet.
I'm the kind of player that takes advantage of cars when cornering. Besides that I strive to drive clean. But I am no match with Hong Kong style or competitive driving. Another perk is that I use automatic transmission
I apologize but manual transmission is too hard for me to use, ever since childhood gaming days. But I plan to learn manual transmission one day, maybe with my new MT4 cars.
My other likes are Tekken as mentioned earlier, and lately I was a recent addition to the Hetalia fandom. It's my first time entering a huge fandom and I am proud of it, because I enjoy Hetalia itself as I love countries in general (and I might slip in BL ships into my life as well as for that reason). I'm also making fanfic cars for the Hetalia nations on MT, starting with the R32 I made in Hong Kong. It was a car I thought Finland would be best suited in, and I plan to make more in the future. The R34 I have in plan is for Denmark. [fan mode on] The Nordics drive Skyline [GT-R]'s [fan mode off].
Is there anything else you would like to know? Maybe if you want to challenge my 400hp R32, you may ask.
